Spotify should make a "smart shuffle" that puts aside the songs that have already played so that I can actually hear every single song instead of replaying the same one over and over. Or, you know, they can make a "smart shuffle" that adds extra stuff so that I never get to hear all of my songs ever.
actually i would enjoy “smart shuffle” if it did what it promised and introduced me to more music that’s similar to what i already like. but it doesn’t, it just adds MORE songs by the bands it knows i ALREADY listen to. so actually it’s making my playlists LESS varied.
Smart Shuffle on Spotify is fucking awful.
“Hm I’ve been kinda sad lately; let’s put on a happy, motivating playlist! And let’s play it in random order just for the variety.”
“Okay! You’re shuffling the playlist, so that obviously means you want me to add this super sad song you’ve been listening to lately! You wanted me to ruin your vibe, right?”

Honestly, the list of suggested songs at the bottom with an option to add them to the playlist - great, wonderful, inspired. This unsolicited bullshit? Who the FUCK finds this anything but annoying??
