Cornell scientist, Dr. Brian Wansink, is one of a growing number of researchers, academics, physicians, and social scientists who support the "small changes theory" as a means to fight weight loss and obesity. My Fuddhist 'philosofeed' is 100% in alignment with this belief! I have never believed in diets, for they have failure built into them. They are temporary, and do not lead to lasting change. It is the small shift in habits, that will lead to a healthier you, forever. Making one small change like drinking lemon water upon rising, or eating off a smaller plate, or splitting an entree when you eat out, can positively impact your health longterm. Dr. Wansink's study showed that we make 200 food decisions a day but are unaware of 90% of them. We need to become more mindful eaters. In the simple awareness of the choices we make daily, we become inspired to make small shifts that will undoubtedly lead to lasting change. #TheFuddhist #MindfulEating #SmallShifts #Simplicity
