First point am going to make is how much we are told about a place called "heaven" and "hell"....I recall when I was a child in "Nigeria"....the colonizers came to my neighbourhood under the guise of the "church" and said they were going to show us a movie....they had a big screen set up in the middle of the street so we ALL can watch....now like most of us...this was my first experience watching a movie on such a big screen...so you can say I was excited....now guess what the movie was about....HELL....the movie was about people dying and burning in hell....that's all I saw.....that's what you call spiritual castration thru FEAR. Now my second point is our collective lack of use of our brain/thought power....we have been conditioned thru indoctrination not to think....so hence the reason we only use 3-5% of our brain/thought power....as a child in the western world....I always felt like I did not belong here and a lot has to do with my ability to use common sense when it comes to the "worlds ill".
