He had been waiting near the door in his pyjamas with his bear, trying not to fall asleep. As soon as it had opened, Joseph was up like a shot and hugging his uncle. Not a few minutes later, the lad had drifted off in his arms.

“He was so tired, the dear boy.” Erina picks up his teddy bear, giving it a fond glance, and starts to walk to his bedroom with Speedwagon. “But he was so excited when he heard you were back, Robert. He absolutely would not to go to sleep, even after I put him to bed.”

“Wow, it’s brilliant!!” He can’t place it, but he can tell something’s really special about this shirt. Maybe he can even use it as a superhero costume when he becomes one!

Joseph’s bright eyes begin to widen further at the casual explanation, trying to let everything that was just said sink in. “H-huh? Two-!?” he starts to ask, thoughts racing particularly at the words ‘my home planet’, but his train of thought is abruptly interrupted by the question posed to him.

“Ah- Uh, sure.” he replies, sitting still to let him. Unlike an adult would be, the little boy isn’t freaked out. If anything, the way he’s talking is only making him wonder more, burning with more he wants to ask. Is he really just a normal person? No way.
