Why you should say sorry (and mean it)
Because I only asked a question and you raised your voice. God knows how my mood shifts when someone raises his voice to me.ย
Because you felt like it was a simple thing and that I can get pass through it in 30 minutes, but no, I canโt, because I will never understand how raising someoneโs voice seems like nothing. It is a huge thing - and most of the time it causes a huge fracture in relationships - arguments, worse, breakups.ย
Because I was prepared for an entire day of fun and excitement, only to know that ALL plans are cancelled and you didnโt bother to tell me earlier and that adds up to the disappointment.ย
Because you donโt want to talk it over - and I am not an expert with puzzles. I wanted to talk about it but you want to bury them all - and just get over it.ย
Because maybe I am just too emotional or lingering or whatever you call it, but you know how frail my emotions are and I want to make all things good (every time) and I practically need your support to make this happen.ย
Because I will forgive you if you ask me to, and sorry might just be a word but it matters to me.ย
Because I will only get better if you say you are.ย
So please do.ย
