                              The White Chamber is a small horror-survival game, created by a tiny development team named, StudioTrophis. It is very simple with the whole click to move basis and a nice anime style texturing. It is also a FREE game which anyone can just go and simply download and play. Easy as that.

The story-line is also very simple and puzzling, which is what most people expect from a nice horror survival game. The story is also based around a form of Karma, which when you try it you will understand. You will defiantly find yourself trying to untwist every aspect of the adventure until it is clearly shown to you towards the end.

As for game play it isn’t hard to pick up and play. Unless you have no mouse and keyboard connected to your pc then it is sure you can’t struggle to pick up on how to play it. Although a tutorial on some aspects would have been nice, such as where the tool bar is. There are also points where you might find yourself completely puzzled and be running round like a completely headless chicken. Then when you figure it out, you feel really dumb.

The graphics aren’t completely flash, but this can’t be expected from such a small team of developers and the type of game it is. It is a nice simple anime style environment with your anime character. One good thing is the fact that none of it looks completely flat. Then the cut scenes are really nicely drawn up. Although the whole environment defiantly creates that dark horror feeling in every room, no matter how lit up it is.

Surprisingly for such a small game, the sounds are really well formed. The creepy ambient sounds and scratching sounds accompany the dark textures and can get those easily affected gamers hearts going. The voice acting isn’t half bad either, where you can hear the emotion within each characters voice.

I do have to point out one great feature about this tiny game though. THERE ARE 10 DIFFERENT ENDINGS! Yep, you read that right, 10 different endings. I won’t go and spoil any of them for you, but they can be achieved within the middle of the game and also at the end. There are a couple of hidden Easter eggs to find as well, where they give you a hint on how to find them after each completion of the game.

·         No tutorial (in-case you can’t figure it out)

I give the game 4 out of 5 stars! For a nice intuitive game play experience, having multiple endings which many games don’t provide any more, and for the good old fashioned horror-survival style game play.
