So Pelo just posted this completely unblurred for all to see on patreon
Of course there's mushroom monsters/witches, because this episode spotlights the hatzgang and the above ground part of a mushroom that houses its spores is referred to as a cap. A CAP. Damn, that's clever.
Also, these two images together make me think of the kids going on a LITERAL witch hunt, as in, going into the woods to hunt witches.
Important
This is pulled together from seeing other people's OCs, witches in other media (primarily Soul Eater), folktales and “modern” witchcraft.
I don't dictate the rules for this “species”, but this is what I base my witches in Spooky Month on. Witches are more freeform and have less set rules compared to werewolves and vampires. For the sake of simplicity I will just say witch(es) and not always mention the warlock male counterpart unless necessary.
I made this mainly to explain my concept for witches better and to show there is more to them aside the green skinned kid eating stereotype many only know. What we will probably get for the one in SM7.

General Information + Biology
Name: Witch/Warlock, Witches/Warlocks
The name “witch” is mainly used by women, but is gender neutral. Another term available is “Mage”.
Age range: 200 - 50.000 yrs?
Their age span is MUCH longer than that of a human. They are not immortal and can die of old age, it depends on the power of their magic, bodily condition, emotional state, etc.
Biological sexes: Male, female, intersex
There is a big gender ratio imbalance with far more females (afab) and female intersex than males (amab).
Genders: Cis, trans, nonbinary, etc.
Basically the same as humans, tho witches can't just use magic to physically change gender.
Types of witches: Natural, Turned
Magic: Natural, White/Green, Black, Wicked
Appearance: Human/Humanoid
They pretty much look like humans, tho depending on their magic, they can have unusual features like different colored blood, unnatural hair or skin colors (green, blue, etc.)
Origin: Earth
Considering demons like Moloch and gods like Eyes exist, witches are not out of the ordinary. They've always been around, like yokai, werewolves, vampires, etc. It is said an outer space object brought magic in the early days of humanity, creating the new species branch.
-----
Reproduction
Only with same species: No
Hybrids: Yes
Pregnancy: The ones with a womb
Duration: 8 - 10 months
Keeping this as 13+ as possible. Aside from their own species, Witches can have kids any species humans can have kids with. This means with humans, demons, werewolves, vampires, etc. The results depend on genetics. Usually the outcome with non-witch species are hybrids. Pure blooded Witches usually only when born from 2 witches, otherwise it's rare. As there are far more female and intersex Witches than Warlocks, the majority of offspring come from them. If powerful enough with magic, Witches and Warlocks can give themselves the needed parts to conceive a child in a same-sex relationship.
-----
Society
Generally, witch society lives more in secret as humans have still not fully accepted them yet like other non-humans. A lot of misconceptions about witches still exist to this day, such as “witch children” in parts of Africa. Considering the way larger number of women, it is a women dominated society. Witches dress like humans, not always in a witch specific outfit.
Witch things
The witch realm: This is a pocket dimension, once created by powerful witches so their species could flee once humans started hunting them down in great numbers. While all beings can technically enter, only naturally born witches can open the portal to it.
Pentagram: The pentagram (pentacle when in a circle) with the star pointing upwards is NOT a satanic/demonic symbol. Symbolizes protection, balance, the five elements (spirit, air, earth, water, fire), and the universe.
Wands and staffs: Wands are not required to use for magic. For witches wands are usually just for enchanting or rituals.
Stereotypes: Primarily about black magic users, especially the turned ones with warts, green skin, yellow teeth/eyes and black hair. Also thinking all witches are evil and use black magic.
Crystals: Specific ores, crystals and stones can enhance magic and protect.
Magic protect: A high level spell that "hides" magic energy from those who can sense non-humans such as witches. To them, the witch will appear as a regular human. Under that spell, the witch can only use minimal to no magic, depending on her skill.
Brooms: Witches can fly on brooms, which all have their own will and changing looks to appear similar to the witch. Many witches do not have cars because of this or use public transport. The actual irl origin of the witch riding brooms to fly is unknown, though some suspect it comes from women “hopping” on brooms on crop fields for fertility rituals.
Potions: Not everyone can brew potions. These are usually to enhance physical aspects or change emotions.
Curses: Curses and negative hexes to affect a person cannot be used by white magic users. They can only use “negative” ones on objects and non-living things. The most powerful curses are by black magic users.
-----
Relationships
Referring to general interaction, not specifically romantic.
Warlocks: The amab part of the witch species is very small and more wide spread over the world. Considering some witches who are not into women are deadset on “keeping their bloodline pure” or despise humans, they will actively seek them out to reproduce. Some warlocks know their low numbers make them special, being very selective about who they date. They also take pride in their magic being stronger.
Turned witches: For turned witches, it depends on the turned type. Black magic turned witches are very looked down upon by natural born witches, white and wicked magic users as they tend to be full of themselves and feed into the negative stereotype. Plus, they “lack standards”, taking the easy way for power by dealing with demons. White witches being rare are usually treated with respect, as it is hard to strike a deal with a pure being.
Humans: Their relationship is still strained, but it varies on country and religion nowadays. Many humans only witches as the stereotypical black magic user, seeing them as evil. In the past, women having knowledge was seen as bad or any women were blamed for bad events, causing many to burn at the stake or be killed otherwise. In human dominated societies/cities, witches usually hide their true selves. But many witches nowadays date and have families with humans.
Non-humans: Many old school witches prefer the company of non-humans such as vampires and werewolves as they too know what it is like to hide from humans and experience discrimination.

Types of witches
The known types of this species are natural and turned. Then it can be split up into wicked, black magic and white/green magic users.
Natural: The person is born as a witch and doesn’t have to follow wicked, black or white magic. They only follow the magic types if they also do a deal with a higher entity, which adds the magic type to their arsenal and makes them stronger than non-specific witches. Stepping back from the deal keeps them a witch obviously, but they lose the extra power boost the entity gave them. Their magic increases during the full moon. (My OCs)
Turned: The person is born human and later becomes a witch. This can be done through various means, usually with the help of a higher deity or being, always with a deal of some sort, which puts the turned type into one of the 3 magic categories depending on the being that turned them, as the person has no natural magic of their own. Stepping back from the deal turns them back into a human. As turned witches only have one magic source compared to a natural one, they are always weaker than a natural one if they happen to also follow a magic type in addition to their natural magic.
-----
Types of magic
Natural
This magic is only found in naturally born witches. General abilities from natural magic involve enchanting objects, more physical power, healing, flying on brooms and making objects flow. Also, everyone has their own unique “themed” magic, like Azura with ice and Natalie with heat. If the natural witch does not strike a deal with another being to gather a specific magic type, they can still become powerful. AMAB witches (Warlocks) make up for their lesser number for having far stronger natural magic. (My OCs)
Wicked
The wicked receive their magic extra by serving a higher being like Eyes or the moon goddess, who are neither good/pure like an angel or evil like a demon in their own way. NO demons or other black magic providers of any kind of any kind. Usually they get a symbol or other way of showing the deal, such as the amulet for the cult or the pentacle tattoo for the moon. The wicked magic givers usually have control over groups, such as cults or covens where one witch serves as the “leader” under the deity. The magic giver/enhancer does care about the witch, but will punish them for treason and disobedience. The wicked can use their natural given magic in a far stronger way. It depends on the deity how far they can boost the witches power. Some events bring out the power the most, such as a full moon or blood moon for the moon goddess. (My coven lol)
Black magic
The most common and known witch stereotype known to humans, what the stereotype view of them relies on. Many turned witches are black magic users as it is the easiest way to power. Turned witches using black magic as their base suffer the consequences of the “stereotype” witch look, aka green skin, warts (not always) and yellow teeth. Their hair will turn black if it wasn’t naturally black. A naturally born witch does NOT receive these looks, but can adapt more demonic traits. Black magic can only be given by demons, evil/malicious spirits or the devil himself, who deals in exchange to grant a witch black magic power. Black magic is high in offense, but offers almost no healing and protection (it always needs a sacrifice of some kind) and is evil in nature. They also follow the stereotype of being hurt by holy water, crosses and such, anything that also harms demons. Usually the deal maker expects souls and sacrifices in return, but does not care much about the witch. Hence they usually go after kids, as the purer the soul, the more the demon appreciates it. The more the witch stays in the deal, the lower her sanity and morals become, as usually the easy exchange for power makes them forget anything good. They are also not against betraying fellow witches. (SM7 witch probably.)
White/Green Magic
In opposition to black magic, white magic is good and about healing. Deals are done with angels (white), nature spirits (green) and other “pure” beings, who have no plans of overturning the world like the Eyes. This type of magic is very strong for defense and healing, but not much use for direct attacking. The magic giver/enhancer has a strong emotional connection with the witch. This witch type is rather rare, as the beings giving out this magic are very hidden and selective. In opposition to dark magic, they are hurt by demonic items.

my hands are cold and its hard to type but i realized something
so i dont think the guest form will be a vote for the teams
i'm assuming it'll be a style royal rumble in a WWE simulator, I'm assuming WWE 2k24, similar to the horror royal rumble!
All the teams would go into the ring, last one standing that team would win (IE, if kevin wins, the Candy Culprits team wins, all the ocs on that team have a chance at appearing in the episode. Am i overexplaining? Idk maybe)
My friend @nonbinaryshotgunman brought this to me and i believe it,
WHICH MEANS it'll basically be based on luck. it's just drawing from a hat with extra steps
SO i was going to cheat a little. i decided, if this was true, the best course of action was to choose the team with the most characters to have the best chance of winning. don't judge me you'd do the same.
but i realized all the teams had 8 characters to make it even so you couldn't have more of a chance, which is also why skiddad appears on two teams i imagine? to keep things nice and even
you also could've just kept him in Slasher Slushie's and put Evermore in the Groovy Grownups but whatever imnotpetty
BUT. i realized the Slasher Slushie team only has seven,
im assuming the eight will be the new villain? IDK how much i can say without spoiling the paid patreon content but those that know
the main takeaway here is theres no need to be like GUYS VOTE FOR THIS TEAM!!!!!!
the second takeaway here is you're all legally required to imagine your favorite character/oc in the ring.
The THIRD takeaway is that Mars would beat your ocs ass in the ring SEND POST!!
