Ross is protecting his friend.

"You could have been eaten by vampires or some shit for all we know Roy! You know that I can't be looking out for you every time, I have work to do. Look I know you want to see your friends and it's Halloween but you didn't even text me or your father over there! I just don't understand what you were thinking- wait... Did you steal something?!" Mark was just... So mad and disappointed right now. Roy frowned and nervously fiddled with his fingers.

"Uhh, no?!" He said as his friends gave him a death stare. "What?!"

Mark looked to his husband who was still in the car, "Babe, did he buy any Halloween costumes! Because I know for a fact I didn't buy him some hat and blue stoner jacket,"

Richard answered honestly. "No honey, I didn't, unless that wrestler friend of yours bought him something,"

"Ben didn't-" Mark turned his head and looked at Roy's soul. "Oh Jesus Christ man... Not again,"

Roy suddenly felt really, really small. More small than he already felt like.

"Roy, get in the car now and say goodbye to Ross and Robert," Mark said with a sad and disappointed tone. "You're grounded for a month, and I'm making you read Shakespeare at least once a day, and don't even think about sneaking out again. I am not going to deal with this again when there's a cannibal serial killer out there and that cult that one lady wouldn't stop talking about. What was her name, Summer? I know that paintball girl is dating her. Either way yeah, not cool Roy, not cool. I thought we taught you better,"

"Wait, Shakespeare is good though," Richard added.

Mark looked at Richard like Richard vomited spiders all over the ground. And Roy went inside the car in embarrassment. Richard now looked confused as Mark got in too and just sipped the shit out of the root beer he got from Boys & Grills.
