2026.06.21 : Mushroom Girl
I think this is a good example of my posting-troubles. I made this -- or a version of this -- and I felt I was done, but then decided to change all the colors around. I ended up liking it more, but then, an hour later, I'm like, "This is stupid!"
Below is the first version... As i type this, I've decided the hair highlights need to go, too. They're overbearing and don't really go with much else in the drawing.
So there you have it. Post-drawing editing thought process, all laid out.

2026.05.30 : Redraw!
I say a lot of the time that "Hey, I should re-draw this or that," but I rarely do... Today I did. I needed the practice. Original drawing is dated 2025.02.06, so it only took me about 16 months to get around to redrawing this.
Man, a lot of sad things have happened in the last 16 months.

I've always liked this one. It's already over a year old. Why haven't I re-drawn it yet? Probably because redrawing will never be as good as the original sketch. Never is.
