“A lot of the inspiration for the book was drawn from sources outside of poetry. Specifically I was interested in finding poetic ideas in other genres of art, music, marine biology, video games, science-fiction, and architecture, and using those idea to produce the poems in ghost machines.”

This is an incredible collection made up of collage, parataxis, and poems that blur the lines between poem & examination, poem & specter.
