The Bacon Cowboy Burger is a delicious and hearty burger with a smoky, savory, and slightly sweet flavor profile. It's perfect for satisfying your craving for a classic burger with a twist.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 8 slices of bacon. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. 1/2 cup crispy fried onions. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the bacon slices on the grill or griddle and cook until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute or until they are lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by spreading barbecue sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese. Add 2 slices of crispy bacon to each burger. Top the bacon with tomato slices and crispy fried onions. Finally, place the top half of the bun on the assembled ingredients to complete the burger. Serve the Bacon Cowboy Burgers hot and enjoy!
