Last night, I stood in a circle of salt. I couldn’t remember why I entered, but I knew not to leave until someone called my name.
He never did.
But I woke up crying anyway. Relinquished. Again.

Like A Ghost
It's like a ghost. A mist of air I see reliving the only memories I give to it. A slight energy, strong enough to have eyes closed to feel it, but not loud enough to be felt in reality. If I wander my eyes, I can see it. Opening a door not only to a room by to a heart no longer alive. Pulling the last protection given to put itself in the objects place. I cherish the mist here, for in ways, it can not fully cherish me. Though, over there I see it, facing the sky, hair sleeked back, as it cleanses itself, not knowing I see it in it's natural clothes. A piece of cloth to gather the rest, a smile in realization of where I have wandered. An offering smile, I kindly refuse.
But whats in front of me? There it is, sprawled, one with the earth talking to those in ways that still confuse me. Controlling individuals in a world it found only to try and protect their side of the turf. Maybe to the right I acknowledge it, where it rests. In the moonlight I see it. It's energy the biggest it gets, only for me to witness. But, the favorite thing my mist does is believe they are still there, greeting me whenever I need them most. .
