and derek drives them there in an enormous car that he has to have no to deal with the "hundreds of children running around my feet“ ("c'mon, derek, there are only like ten of us”)

and stiles immediately runs to the chips aisle and grabs a fifty pack of onion rings. and malia is like, “what are we even going to do with all of these onion rings?” but stiles just looks offended and is like, “excuse you i could eat all of these if i wanted to, and even if i couldn’t, you forget we live with wolves”

and scott turns around to see stiles with a giant box of onion rings, and is like, “DUDE, ONION RINGS.” and grins.

and kira turns to derek and tries to make conversation, but derek’s brow is furrowed and he just looks at her, and after a moment of opening her mouth and going, “well, i just…” and trailing off, she decides to go back to scott

and liam bounds through the aisles and comes back with a tub of ice cream and pouts.

and meanwhile erica and boyd are with danny (because fuck you danny is part of the pack now) and mostly just standing around and talking. and danny looks over at the cart (which is mostly filled with various snacks and desserts) and is like, “so is there anything substantial there?” and worriedly goes to the meat and fish area to get something to eat that isn’t chex mix or onion rings or ice cream or cookies

and jackson and lydia and allison are in the card aisle making out (except lydia and allison keep on getting more into it, and allison kind of thinks that jackson is annoying, but he makes lydia happy, so she supposes they can keep him around)

and scott is busy looking at other food (one hand in kira’s and the other in stiles’s) while liam zooms around with the cart, but after a moment, liam stops his cart and asks in on the love, and so they hug him, and stiles rolls his eyes while scott ruffles his hair.

and after a while, they realize WHERE IS ISAAC? but isaac is of course flirting with a lady working at the cash register. like leaning over and grinning and telling her she has gorgeous eyes and that he’s not exactly single but poly but totally ready to mingle, and she’s charmed and laughing

and they finally go to pay for their food, and scott drags him away while isaac shouts out his number

and some guy gives derek a weird look and asks why he’s there, and stiles says he’s the dd (to which scott adds “daddy driver”)

saw they made you take it off—wtf? did they give you a reason (aside from them being gross and enforcing the gender binary?)
