SL12B Is in Full Swing!

The Second Life 12th anniversary celebration (known as the SL12B) is in full swing! It opened June 21st and runs through the 28th. Its amazing to think that SL has been in existence for 12 years!

Meet the Lindens at SL12B suffers from softball interviewing and too much focus on the past

Tuesday’s ‘Meet the Lindens’ interview between Saffia Widdershins of Prim Perfect and Patch Linden and Dee Lindenhappened last night at the SL12B Dreamitarium. Despite listening to the hour of conversation (and re-listening to my full recording after that) I failed to find one item of compelling interest that’s worth writing about, except perhaps that Dee Linden doesn’t like the system avatar’s…

This exhibit at SL12B made me stay and look at everything. It’s Hamburg Feur und Flamme by Bigjr Slade . I noticed three other people came in and walked up all three flights of stairs. Some exhibits are big, bold, and beautiful, but people just tend to walk by and go on to the next place. Here i found colors and depth and enough angles to make me curious enough to stay awhile. 

I am having to keep my graphics set low to avoid lag. I overheard two exhibitors talking about needing to set graphics on full to see everything. That doesn’t work well on my laptop.
