Bellamy's grounder title
Grounders have mythologized the characters that influence their lives. They believe in power of individual and give them titles to represent that power.
As the head, heart and spirit of the story( @sometimesrosy ), Clarke, Bellamy and Octavia have the biggest influence. And yet, there is one character whose mythology never overtakes him.
Clarke is Wanheda - Commander of death - and holds power over death itself. Kill her, and you inherit her power.
Octavia- Skyrippa, Osleya(?), Blodreina - her story is forever evolving, changing. Assasin to savior to dictator, she is fluid, never sticking to a form.
And then we have Bellamy. Equally complacent in almost all genocides that place on screen - the rebel king, key - and yet, he is still Bellamy. He is not given a role. And consequently, his mistakes are allowed. Jasper doesn't blame him for Mt Weather, Murphy doesn't blame him for hanging(anymore).
The heart remains human, not a story.
I am sure there are a lot of in story reasons for Bellamy Blake to not become a story in himself, but I find it interesting that his motivations are almost always through Clarke or O, and spacekru eventually.
