IĀ“ve been testing dragon riding over places that the game doesnĀ“t allow you by default, like The forgotten vale.
This is done by adding the forgotten vale world to this list in Creation Kit:Ā DLC2TameDragonAllowedWorldspaces
This area is flyable I guess because voslaarum and naaslaarum are here but itĀ“s weird that it has perching spot in the very begining of the path which is far away from the lake.Ā
Why Bethesda placed a perching spot so far away of the fight area I donĀ“t know but itĀ“s cool and everything from above looks amazing
Note: this trick doesnĀ“t work for other custom dlc worlds like Falksaar, you need to additionally do World (Falksaar) > Generate max height data for world. For the same reason thereĀ“re no perching spots and itĀ“s mostly a forest from above
