Oh dear. My response would be to leave at least 2 eggs, perhaps 4. I doubt they’ll be stressed out by prior clutches disappearing, since normally they don’t lay a new clutch unless they think those eggs are duds. My pair is male/female**, so I haven’t had to make that call myself, but my best guess would be to leave them with 4. It’s also nice to give them time off of the eggs between clutches, so I would aim to take all the eggs away around 20 days after the most recent ones were laid. Hopefully that could also sync their egg laying more closely, so that you don’t end up with 6 eggs often.
