After paying the venue tonight I was left with $62 to pay the bands, we had a shitty turn out. I had 3 twenty's, a toonie and figured I could do an even pay out of $20 a band and nobody would care if I took the toonie and bought a couple pins with it. The first two bands were grateful that they got paid and told me they'd come back any time. Skullians, how ever, decided that they wanted a $100 guarantee... after the show was over. Are you fucking kidding me? We had maybe 30 people show up and they didn't even care enough to stick around and watch you play. I didn't even draw in $100 tonight, where am I supposed to pull it from? You blame it on my promotion, you have no clue what kind of postering I've been doing for the last few weeks. Quit being so condescending and upset, it's not my fault that people didn't come out to see your generic punk band on a Thursday night, it's your fault for not telling the person setting up the event that you're expecting a certain amount of cash for playing.
