After Best Foes I like to picture Skipper making a True Effort to spend time with Julien and get to know him even though heâs kind of at a loss
of trying to find interests that overlap. Eventually he does. What they would be Iâm not sure,
Heâll greet Julien in the morning (or afternoon, depending) and ask if he wants to do somethin if there isnât any penguiny stuff like planned
At first Julien would be just skeptical and confused like.... wait. really? REALLY? IS THIS REAL LIFE? IS MY BIRTHDAY? NO? (He feel guilty about throwing the thing at him, that was just his insecurities being impulsive)
He tries to be less annoying but Skipper reminds him of how that went when he over did it. HE tells Julien he should just be himself and Julien gets EMOTIONAL at that and he asks if he can hug him after almost going in for one (YOU LIKE ME FOR MY PERSONALITY??? / I KNOW I WAS SURPRISED TOO)
Skipper says ok and Julien tells him this is the best day of his life. Skipper just,,, he doesnât get why Julien likes him so damn much heâs oblivious
Skipper wakes up one day once theyâve gotten pretty close with this full blown epiphany oh,, he has da feelins for ringtail and he accidentally kind of says it out loud like âshiznit I LOVE HIMâ and the other penguins look at him like, TF?
I freaking want them to be happy man idk maybe theyâre fictional but I believe in the multiverse
Also kind of a tangent but I always watch best foes with this headcanon that the invention doesnât actually read Julien as friend or foe, because Skipperâs feelings are so complicated,..... it just reverses his knee jerk reaction to suppress his feelings and be closed off/quarrelsome thus bringing out a friendlier attitude toward Julien

Family Cuddle
Julien, Skipper, and their toddler aged offspring Sammy are tuckered out after a long day of playing together. They collapse in a pile on the bouncy and fall asleep. Mort snaps a picture and shows it to the penguins, who coo over the adorableness. They never imagined that Skipper would be as at ease with someone as he is with Julien, or start a family. Skipper still leads them on missions, but Julien and Sammy are now his priority outside of work.Â
Side Note:
Julien definitely wraps around his infants in a manner like the picture below, engulfing them in safety and warmth.
A subconscious move stemming from the fact that his parents from AHKJ didnât like to touch others, probably including him as a baby. :)
