I just saw Captain Marvel, My opinions are below! *Obvious Spoiler Warning*
First of all: WOW. Second of all; I honestly was a huge fan of the film.
That Stan Lee tribute in the beginning made me tear up. The whole theater clapped for him. Also his cameo was honestly so cute I wanted to cry. I thought Carol’s story was really well put, I loved seeing a younger Fury. GOOSE. I love Goose. Speaking of Goose, guess we know how Fury messed up his eye. Don’t mess with Goose.
I love that Carol gained control of herself in the end, and did what was right in helping the Skrulls. I hope we can see more of her kicking some Kree ass. The post- credit scene #1 was good. I liked that it’s established that she is officially showing up for Endgame. What that means for the Endgame plot? I’m not sure yet. Post- Credit scene #2: Goose being Goose and hacking up the Tesseract. A+
Overall:
I loved the origin story. I’m glad they did it in time for Endgame so we know who she is and what shes about. I loved her story, and wished we could have even seen some more! Young Fury gives me life. It’s nice to see how things got started.
