    𝘩𝘦  𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴  𝘢𝘵  𝘵𝘩𝘦  𝘧𝘪𝘴𝘵 , half  expecting  the  other  to  open  palm  and  give  him  something  since  that  is  what  most  people  he  knew  would  have  done . there’s  a  few  seconds  that  pass  in  stillness , aymeric  fully  frozen in  his  expectation , but  the  hand  does  not  open  and  they  both  stand  there  in  silent  confusion  over  each  others  actions .     oh , perhaps  he  is  meant  to  shake  it ? his  hand  lifts  up , hesitantly  outstretching  and  placing  it  on  top  of  ardbert’s  fist . it  doesn’t  feel  like  this  is  really  what  he’s  supposed  to  be  doing , but  it  was  far  too  late  for  him  to  back  out  of  it  now . he  hesitates  one  last  time  before  beginning  to  shake  the  fist  as  if  it  were  a  regular  handshake .      ❝    pleasure  to  meet  you .    ❞
