What happens when you throw a bunch of item mages into a magic sportsball game, I wonder?
"What do you mean, my hammer is illegal?" Wind asks, balancing said Skull Hammer on his shoulder and apparently giving no thought to the fact that it should weigh more than he does. "I'm not using my hands, isn't that how it works?"
"Yes, Pegasus Boots use magic, that's the whole point!" Lore howls, scandalized.
Steam attempts to lobby a complaint when the Spirit Train is given a red card. Sketch's Tornado Rod is immediately confiscated. Speck is outright disqualified from the game for being an unfair channeling boost to his team and nobody listens when he tries to explain that he doesn't know what they're talking about.
Overall... the shenanigans outweigh the actual gameplay. The referees are in shambles and also deserve several payraises
