First I want to start this out with a change in plans. I didn’t realize my business trip was coming so soon - wave 2 includes me doing an hour of cardio for a week. My hotel DOES have a gym, that’s not an issue, but this is my first business trip and I’m not sure if I will be able to do it every night. I’ll bring workout clothes and such, but again, I’m not sure what to expect so I might make an extra wave in there.
With that said, if I do not decide to add an extra wave, I plan to push off wave 3 until Saturday, March 17 regardless because wave 3 includes a serious diet change and I don’t necessarily have control over what I eat on my business trip.
So my next update will be March 17.
With all that out of the way, let’s discuss wave 1.
Overall it went relatively well. I need to find different tea though because I hate the tea my mom had in the house so I kind of stopped drinking it. Maybe I’ll grab some green tea from the break room today and chug it because it’s so good for you.
I didn’t have too much of an issue transitioning out of my coffee addiction. The first day was a little rough because I woke up with a headache and coffee handles those in the morning, but medicine worked just as well.
I did drink more water, but I stayed around 60-80 floz a day. The goal was 80-100. It’s really hard to keep up on water but I’m going to keep trying.
Expected wave 1 results: slightly clearer skin, lower bowel movements
Actual wave 1 results: exactly that. I unfortunately went to the bathroom less, which I was expecting because coffee was the catalyst in the morning. But with my skin, it is slightly clearer. It did get one bad pimple this week, but wasn’t as bad as others and is almost gone. I got a few small pimples on my nose, but they went away in about a day or two.
