Muscle Mending Massage Bar!
Ā I took a tumble down the stairs over the weekend so this is low-key perfect timing. lol.
Anyway, not only are these easy to make they can make a great gift for the holidays if you find yourself stumped on what to buy your friends and family
Tools Youāll Need
Medium size saucepan
Measuring cup
Silicone or Wooden Spoon
twoĀ Massage Bar Mold
Ingredients
8 oz. Beeswax (or Carnauba Wax if youāre vegan)
8 oz. Cocoa Butter
4 oz. Shea Butter
2 oz. Avocado Oil
1.25 oz. Jojoba Oil
2.8 oz. Muscle MendingĀ Organic Essential Oil BlendĀ (You can find it a Sprouts and possibly Whole Foods)
TheĀ reason I said youāll need two molds is because I made tooĀ much andĀ didnāt have an extra mold to put it in (whomp) but theyĀ still came out great. AlsoĀ IĀ didnāt feel like blending a bunch of essential oils myself thats whyĀ I opted for the Muscle Mending blend.Ā Itās a blend ofĀ Eucalyptus, Lavender, Orange, Tea Tree, Wintergreen, Everlasting Corsica, and Cornmint. ItĀ will help soothe aches and discomfort, supplies aĀ coolingĀ sensation to muscles, and will help you relaxĀ after aĀ long day. Use it onĀ your back, shoulders, achy joints, injuries, orĀ whereverĀ you feel discomfort.Ā
Instructions
Melt the beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, and avocado oil inĀ double boiler and melt it (stirĀ mixture to help it melt faster)
Add jojoba oil and essential oil blend (stir again to mix evenly)
Pour into molds and let the bars coolĀ until they areĀ solid (I placedĀ mine in theĀ refrigerator)
Put them out and store in a dry, cool place, and useĀ whenever you like!
