if you have straight hair that gets greasy really fast, you'll wanna wash often, right? But what if you have skin conditions too that hate being bathed/showered too often?
dry shampoo. dry shampoo is a fucking godsend. doesn't even have to be the nice expensive stuff. just a cheapo bottle of whatever matches your hair tone, a detangling brush and a few minutes to touch up. spray it onto the hairline, run it through your hair with your fingers, then brush. repeat maybe once or twice. you can go an extra couple days and save your skin bathing hell with dry shampoo. it won't fix everything but it'll make your hair look and feel way less greasy AND it usually smells nice. keep in mind, mileage may vary with brands and hair textures, this is predominantly about people with my hair type (thick, silky, fine straight strands, soft brown colour— I am in fact very white Scottish lol) but I'm sure this advice can be adapted to other hair types too. do what works for you and don't be afraid to try new shit. and don't worry about buying expensive.
as for your poor skin? how is it fairing if you've bathed too much and it's flaring up? what I've found helps really well for my eczema in particular is sudocrem. it's this super thick white paste cream, and it's mostly used for babies, but it has plenty of applications. make sure you read through the ingredients, make sure it's not something that your skin would disagree with, and keep in mind this stuff is TTTTTHHHHHICK. it WILL leave a white cast. it WILL feel almost rubbery. it IS a weird experience. but it's wonderful. just don't use too much at once. once it's all settled in it'll give your skin this nice soft feeling you can then moisturise and replenish or what have you.
and if you can't afford any of this (mood, I'm broke), water is great too. just rinse yourself off between baths.
