BIOGRAPHY Sally Blevins was born and raised in New York by Bill and Matilda Blevins. She was friendly, she loved being around other people, and she loved her life. Until, that is, the night that her father killed her mother and was arrested for it. Sally was thrown into foster care the next day, and from that point forward she didn’t have a stable home for more than a couple of months.
Sally lost most of her interest in other people; her father had shown her the ugly side of the human race, and she didn’t want to encounter that again. Secluding herself was easier than trying to make friends only to be disappointed when they left or she had to move houses again. She threw herself into her studies, and ended up graduating high school early.
She went to a state university in New York, majoring in biochemistry on a premed track and with a minor in women’s and gender studies. While working on her senior thesis, she caught the attention of Stark Industries, and soon had a job set up with them for once she finished school.
At 21 years old, she moved from New York to New Orleans, and began her job at Stark, putting her thoughts of becoming a physician to the side in order to help people with her new job by developing cures for common diseases and improving vaccines.
Sally was not part of the team that created the virus, but she heard about their work. When the effects of their virus started to spread, she became aware of the rising tension and worry around the company, but she wasn’t high enough up to know what was happening, having only worked there for two years.
Soon, the barricade was put around the city, and the team who had created the virus needed to come clean to the rest of the company. She and a few other employees knew that they needed to try and fix the mess that they had started, and they set to work on a cure, jumping from safehouse to safehouse with as much equipment as they could carry, helping survivors and trying to use their help to figure out a way to create immunity to the terrible virus.
