mouth  opens  but  she  doesn’t  speak.   ‘   i ...   ’     i  can’t  get  you  to  your  sister.   i  don’t  how  to  solve  the  fuel  problem.   i’m  so  damn  sorry  for  getting  you  stuck  up  here.   all  things  that  bothered  her  but  she  couldn’t  tel  them,  not  to  him  or  to  anyone  in  their  family.   ‘   i’m  fine,  bellamy.   ’    she  settles  on  that  like  always  despite  both  knowing  she’s  lying  through  her  teeth.   raven’s  always  been  honest,  even  to  a  degree  that  she  shouldn’t  but  this  time  she  knows  she  has  to  bite  her  tongue.

    𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒 𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐒 𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐓. Another part of him knows that Bellamy did what HE believed to be the right thing to do in order to protect himself and those he loves. That was their lives, constantly making the tough decisions for the good of their people with little regard to what happens to those outside of their circle. Murphy can’t always look down on their choices, he isn’t the one making them, but it still effects him. Deep down, Murphy cares about every single one of them, and he’s tired of seeing them make the wrong choices, tired of seeing them have to live with themselves afterwards.  A long winded sigh escapes the former, and possibly current delinquent. “ Don’t be dramatic.” He starts, attempting to make light of the situation. “ They won’t crucify you, I don’t think they even know what a crucifixion is.”

     𝐀 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐊. 𝐀 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄. There’s silence at first, head tilted away from the other; contemplation hidden only temporarily before he faces him with one of the smuggest expressions he has ever made. “  Do you and Clarke ask yourselves the same thing before you kill people to save the ones you love? Do you actually GIVE the question any thought? Or do you ask it to make yourselves feel better?” He doesn’t know if it’s an honest question or one of rhetoric. He knows the true answer, any one of them would do anything to keep their friends and family alive. “  It’s Emori. Of course it’s a risk I’m willing to take.”

if      you’re      expecting      her      to      argue,      you’re      going      to      be      sorely      disappointed.      these      are      the      thoughts      that      haunt      her      late      at      night      while      he      sleeps      peacefully      beside      her.      these      are      the      words      hidden      under      the      layers      of      questions      she      does      ask:      what      are      we      gonna      be      now?      what      are      we      gonna      be      when      you      see      your      sister,            when      you’re      forced      to      confront      the      reality      of      who      i      am?            time      may      have      cauterized      the      wounds,     may      have      stopped      the      endless      bleeding,      but      the      scars      remain.      she      betrayed      him,            broke      him,            nearly      killed      his      sister.      she      was      the      enemy,      and      no      amount      of      changing,      growing      can      erase      their      tumultuous      past.      

gaze      is      averted,     focused      on      some      far-off      /      distant      point.    she      bears      no      expression,      no      hint      of      weakness,     though      there’s      a      storm      brewing      within      her.      they’ve      been      through      hell      &      back      again,      risked      their      lives      to      save      one      another.      he’s      pledged      allegiance      to      her      even      in      the      face      of      banishment,      and      she’s      fought      her      way      back      through      impossible      circumstances.            it      should      be      enough,            this      war-torn      love,       but      those      scars…            THOSE      SCARS      HAUNT      HER,       reminding      her      that      she’ll      never      have      all      of      him.      never      deserve      all      of      him.
