"... and be prepared for more downpours for the next few days."
Frowning at the downpour outside the windows of the library, you sighed knowing that you should probably start making your way back home before another mini flood happens and you get trapped in another part of town. With the cooling air conditioning blasting and the cold weather adding to the atmosphere, you had planned to go directly home and take a nice, long nap before working on the paperwork assigned to you by the company to get more ideas for content creation but as your phone buzzed, you slid it out to see a notification for a Vlive.
Searching through your memory, you don't seem to remember that anyone was scheduled to be going live today, especially since it was a couple days off to rest after filming some filler content. To be safe, you pulled out your calendar on your phone to double-check your suspicions and were relieved to find that you were right. Clicking on the notification, you were met with darkness at first before the familiar face of your older member came into view in dim lighting and you smiled slightly when you heard soft beats of music in the background reminding you of the playlist you were listening to as you were reading in the library.
"... What am I doing?"
You could see her squint her eyes in the darkness as she read an English comment and the way the cogs in her head turned as she translated her reply in English before she let out a satisfied smile. Not thinking too much into it, you kept Siyeon's stream on as you packed the rest of your belongings into your bag. It was until you paid closer attention to her actions that you realized something was up. She seemed more sluggish than usual and... quickly turning your phone brightness to the brightest it could go, you could see her nestled comfortably in a familiar hoodie. Or more specifically, the oversized hoodie you kept in the dorm, nicknamed by everyone else as the "bad feels" hoodie.
You wore the hoodie whenever you needed comforting and whenever any members see you in the hoodie, they know to leave you to your own space and that you would approach them for comfort and cuddles when you wanted. It was almost a rule that affection would not be denied if you come looking for it.
Seeing the hoodie on your elder member was weird but the hoodie held a universal meaning no matter who wore it; and to be presented with a choice between paperwork and your biased favorite member of the group? It wasn't even a choice at all. Taking one last look at the Vlive, you shut it off as you pulled out the map on your phone and searched up the nearest location to Siyeon's favorite cafe.
With a deep breath, you walked out the doors of the library, braving the rain.
The Vlive lasted for over an hour before Siyeon heard the sound of banging on the front door, scaring her slightly. Everyone was supposed to be out on their own schedules today except her, and everyone knew the passcode to the door. Hearing another bang, she quickly ended the live and approached the door cautiously.
Another loud knock made her slowly approach the door, wishing and wondering why the door to the dorm lacked a peephole to see who was behind it. Unlatching the lock, Siyeon slowly opened a crack and peeped through it to see a very familiar wet figure.
Swinging open the door as fast as she could, she stared in shock at your shivering frame, and when you noticed that the door was opened, you looked up at Siyeon with a smile, teeth clattering against one another.
"Unnie..."
Eyes suddenly widening as if you remembered something, you lifted your other hand to Siyeon while she continued staring in confusion and concern.
"T-this is f-for you. Your favourite, white m-mocha choco."
Quickly ushering you inside, you stood still where she left you, hand still outreached with the drink in hand as she ran into the closest bathroom and returned with towels. Throwing one on your head, you let the ends flop down as she wrapped the other around your shoulders. Only then did she give you a look over again, taking the drink from your hand, setting it on the nearest flat surface, and drying you off the best she could while you remained still and stared at her innocently.
"I-I mean I don't think it's h-hot anymore but still-"
"You're such a fool."
Seeing the way her eyes softened as she said that, you knew that she wasn't truly mad at you. You shudder thinking of the fact how other members were to react if they were in Siyeon's shoes but it was mistaken by her as you shivering from the cold. Pulling you close to her, she guided your head to lay on her chest as she rested her cheeks on top of yours, hand gently stroking down your back and patting your head with the other.
"Why did you..."
She trailed off with a sigh as she shook her head.
"You didn't have to, you know. Unnie should be the one taking care of you and now you're going to fall sick trying to take care of unnie."
"But I want to. I want to become someone that you can turn to and get comfort from."
You argued back but made no sign to leave her embrace or even lift your head up to look at her while she soothingly rocked the both of you.
"And you already are. I don't need you to do anything or give me anything. All I ask is for you to be safe and happy and that brings me comfort."
Slowly taking careful steps backwards, Siyeon guided your movements and you only opened your eyes to peek out behind the towel when you came to a stop. Only spotting a door in your line of sight, you were slightly surprised as the door was opened by Siyeon and she gave you a gentle shove in with a hand on your waist revealing the bathroom in her room. Turning around, your heart melted as her soft laughter echoed in the empty room, clearly entertained by your small stumble due to suddenly having your support to stand, moving away. Once she got herself together, you couldn't help but smile back at her loving gaze.
"Wash up. I'll leave a set of my hoodie and pants for you. Then after, we'll cuddle and watch a movie together, alright?"
Nodding, she closed the door behind you, leaving you to your privacy. Slowing removing the towels off your head and shoulders and holding them close to your body, you couldn't help but break out into a smile foolishly, knowing that you've made her day, and that the promise of warm comforters, a nice movie and your favourite person was waiting outside that door. Right after you wash up and dry up of course.

this is a little spooky because itâs my first post but i hope yâall like it :)
Genre: fluff
Warnings: reader has a rough day but thatâs it
Sitting in your car you let out a long breath. You thought today couldnât get any worse but you also thought that when you left your keys in apartment, or when you spilled coffee all over your desk, or when you cried in the bathroom after getting yelled at by your manager for something you couldnât even control. All you wanted to do was go home. However when Siyeon called you, you had to pick up. Her sweet voice rang through the speakers of the car, âAre you off yet?â You smiled to yourself, âYeah, how come?â There was a paused before she responded, âYou sound upset, Iâm heading over.â Before you could protest she hung up. Putting the car in reverse, you made your way to your place.
You had finished changing when you heard the knock on your door. Knowing who it was, you opened it without a question. âYou should be more careful. What if that wasnât me,â She started to scold but once she saw the look on your face she pulled you into a tight hug. âRough day,â She asked, her voice softer now. You nodded, face buried in her neck. She pulled you to the couch, inviting you to lay in her arms, which you gladly did. She asked if you wanted to talk about it but when you shook your head she dropped it. She continued to whisper nothings as she played with your hair. No matter what you were feeling before, it didnât matter anymore. Laying in her arms felt safe, which was something you had been lacking all day. Eventually, once you gained the courage (and once you couldnât ignore your stomach anymore), you mentioned being hungry. âCome here then,â Siyeon said, getting up and walking to the kitchen.
Siyeon slid the bowl in front of you. âThank you,â You said, taking a bite. She smiled and shook her head, âNo need to thank me. Iâm just doing my job as your girlfriend.â âWell you do a great job of being the best girlfriend ever,â You smiled, leaning closer to her. She gladly closed the space between you, pulling you into a short but tender kiss, âAnything for you.â
AHHH i hope yâall like this :) iâll open up my requests and do my best with them (i might avoid writing for groups i donât know well)
warnings: descriptions of injuries, mentions of needles and blood
summary: an unexpected visitor arrives at your door, and quite literally, falls at your feet

When the measured knock came at your door in the dead of the night, like any other sane person, you shouldâve written it off as a strange noise and ignored it. Instead, you pushed up your reading glasses before grabbing the scissors from your desk, marching towards your door with unearned confidence.
Your living room had barely any lights on, though you knew this dingy apartment like the back of your hand. Rounding the tables and corners with ease, you made sure to avoid certain creaky floorboards before pressing your head to the peephole.Â
One hand on your doorknob and another clutching the scissors behind your back, you studied the person under the flickering corridor light. To say you were surprised would be the understatement of the century.Â
Because draped on the frame of your front door was none other than Siyeon.Â
Her left hand clutched her mask, as she pressed it to her stomach while her right was barely holding the weight of her body. Midnight black hair sticking to her sweat laden forehead, strands falling down her neck where they mixed with blood just as dark as her hair.Â
The sight was jarring. You shouldâve been worried, you shouldâve been terrified, and you definitely shouldâve been shaking with trepidation⌠yet all you could wonder was how sheâd ended up at your door. And why?Â
You opened the door, letting the flickering light wash into your dreary living room as your hands fell to your side. Siyeon finally looked up, eyes unfocused and lifeless, yet she was still smiling, teeth tinted red with blood.Â
Pointing at the scissors that had appeared, she only uttered a grating ha! As if to mock you for your half-hearted preparations to protect yourself, before collapsing at your feet.Â
As much as you wanted to see her fall face first, the doctor in you with a somewhat decent moral compass overpowered that desire. You dropped your scissors and stepped right in front of her path⌠although your embrace wasnât flawless.
The crown of Siyeonâs head planted right into your stomach, earning a deep grunt from you. Ignoring the pain blooming at your side, you placed your arms underneath Siyeonâs and practically dragged her across your floor. You might as well have held her by the ankle and thrown her across your living room because whatever you were attempting wasnât tactful.Â
With great effort, youâd managed to plant her on your sofa. Her left leg, after many attempts to place it neatly above, kept slipping down so youâd given up on it altogether. You knew she was breathing, she was alive and wellâwell enough to not be dyingâso the sight of her staining your beige coach with crimson should have put you off.Â
Yet you stood straight, knuckles pushing up your glasses as you studied her with deadly focus. There were cuts on her face, a wound to her stomach that had slowed down but still bleedingâprobably by a knife she missed when she was being too cockyâand no doubt, underneath her suit, her skin would be littered with bruises. Shaking your head, you walked to your bathroom and fished out your medical kit.Â
When you grabbed a cushion from the couch and kneeled on it, you heard her restricted gasps. Just as you were pulling out the needle for the stitches sheâd need, you felt the flat of a nail fall down your cheekbone, knocking past the frame of your glasses.Â
âYouâre back,â she said in a pained whisper.Â
Pulling away from her touch, you did something youâd one too many times. With practised precision and poise, you pulled off the pieces of her suit before rolling up her shirt to see the wound. You let out a hiss at the ripe flesh still pumping out blood. Not far from it, were other scars earned from similar circumstances with your still hands having stitched them together.Â
âI always liked you with glasses,â Siyeon stated. Her finger, once again, loosely caressed your cheek. This time you were too focused to shirk away from her touch, instead you opted to ignore her completely, though she didnât mind. Even in her terrible state, she kept rambling, âYou were always busy, always teaching, always working, always writingâtyping away on your computer in the dead of night with your lights off and ruining your eyesightâoof!â
The corner of your lip twitched upward when you shut her up, she had gotten far too comfortable under your touch. However, her finger had never left your cheek, at this point, you were sure she was just drawing shapes on your face but you couldnât be bothered to ask her to stop.Â
Siyeon stayed silent and you stayed by her side, mending her patiently. Every second felt painfully familiar, comfortable, and like home⌠so you couldnât help but speak to her.
âI stopped teaching,â was all you said as you packed up your needle after pulling down her shirt carefully. You could imagine the expression of confusion followed by embarrassment that would accompany the small oh she muttered. âScooch over.â
Seating yourself at the edge of the couch, you leaned over to push back her sweaty hair that stuck to her face. Her wound wasnât as horrendous as you had expected, there was a gash at her temple with dried blood and her split lipâall quick work. Once again, in silence you began to mend her, however this time it was hard to avoid her presence. Every flit down her delicate features, now marred with sweat and grime, had your heart hammering against your chest, especially when you caught her intense gaze, almost studying you as if she might forget how you look if she didnât.
âAll done,â you breathed out, as you carefully placed a plaster over her temple, painfully aware of how close you were to her. Before Siyeon could utter anything that would break your resolve, you carried on, âDo you need a shower? Fresh clothes? Do you want me to move you to the bed, Iâm working late anywayââ
âItâs fine,â Siyeon scrunched her eyebrows as she turned towards you. âI want to stay here.â
With you, were the words Siyeon had to bite back.Â
Sighing, you used the pad of your thumb to smoothen out her eyebrows as you started. âWhen I said, come visit me some time, this is not what I meant.âÂ
With a scoff, Siyeon snuggled further down and leaned into your palm. âWhen did you stop teaching?â
Gulping, you tucked a stray strand of her hair behind her ear before beginning to clean up. You decided to ignore the small groan that left Siyeon when you pulled your hand away from her.Â
âA few months ago,â you answered, purposely ignoring her eyes. âIâm focusing on my paper, itâs almost finished now.âÂ
Another oh left Siyeon and you decided youâd had enough of this interaction, after all, you had a thesis to complete. However, when you tried to get up, Siyeonâs hand shot out to stop you.Â
âYou canât stay by my side for just one night?â The words were innocent enough, and from her lips, they were oh so desperate, it almost made you falter. However, a small part in the back of your brain could only think of how sheâd thrown them at your face all those months ago.Â
You prioritised your work.Â
But so had she.Â
When Siyeon caught your glaring at her suit, she opened her mouth to interject any repeat of your separation. Instead, with a voice smaller than her pained one, you asked, âWhat were you doing tonight, Siyeon? Why are you here? At the other side of the city?â
âDrug cartelââ
âLet me guess, there were too many people than you had imagined and youâd gotten yourself to the brink of death!â The moment you said it, you wanted to take it back. You hated how venomous and uncaring you sounded, your tone was cold and condescending but you didnât how else to show just how scared you wereâstill are!âfor her safety.Â
Knowing better than to bite back, Siyeon pushed her head back and stared at your ceiling. With a deep breath, she began patiently stating her facts.Â
âI knew exactly how many people were there. Iâd planned my entry and exit. I knew there would be knives and guns, itâs a drug cartel. And⌠I did get cocky and got myself nicked but I also knew youâd be home, not far from where the shipment is taking place.â Reaching out to take your hand in hers, she finished. âIâm fine now. Iâm safe. Because of you, and soon Iâll be fully healed, ready to get beat up all over againâow, hey!â
You had twisted the hand that was holding yours and watched Siyeon squirm, though there was no pain evident on her face because, with just a flick of her wrist, she disarmed you.Â
âHow on earth did you get enhanced sight and hearing, enhanced speed and agility, enhanced pain tolerance! And whatever else you can freakishly do yet not get enhanced healing?â You said, looking quizzically at your free palms that caused her no harm.
âThe world works in strange ways, babe.â You cringed at the pet name, even more so at the goofy smirk she was wearing. âPlus, thatâs why I have you, right?â
There was something sincere in Siyeonâs eyes as she said the last line, something akin to the tumultuous fondness you both had shared, something you know both of you still have under simmering the surface, locked away in the deepest parts of your minds.
Looking away, you remembered you had a paper to complete and research to finish in the morning. Like clockwork, you returned to the calculated person that opened the door and mended Siyeon, and she seemed to notice the change as she pulled her arm away from you.Â
âAre you sure you donât want to be moved to my bed?â Siyeon only shook her head, before turning away from you and facing the couch. You took in a breath, to say something, to fix whatever youâd done but frankly, you were just too tired.Â
Shaking your head, you got up and returned to your thesis. However, not before placing the laptop on the other end of your desk, so you could keep an eye on Siyeon. Probably not your brightest idea, because at every flinch, every gasp, and every murmur you startled and studied her. Barely getting any work done, you decided it was time to sleep.Â
When you brought a blanket from your room to place on Siyeon, you sighed at her clutching her shirt. People are supposed to look peaceful in their sleep, yet even now Siyeon could barely get any rest. Tucking her in carefully, you carefully dragged the pad of your thumb across her furrowed eyebrows in an attempt to smoothen her worries. Then you inched forward, then hesitated, but sighed before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. She didnât need to know about this.
In the morning, you were rushing around your small house with terrifying focus that you missed Siyeon grumble awake. Instead, she opted to watch you in silence as you set up a plate on the kitchen counter and scribbled something beside it. When you reached your coat rack, Siyeon finally spoke up.
âNice of you to leave your number before running away in the morning without even saying goodbye,â Siyeon said, her voice deep having just woken up.Â
âHa. Ha. Youâre very funny,â you deadpanned. Rolling your eyes at her inane joke, you turned to face her as you put on your coat. Siyeon winced as she raised herself on her elbows to look at you before offering you her wolfish smirk. Shaking your head, you walked back to the kitchen to grab your bag and run around the house to make sure you had everything.
âI made breakfast, make sure to eat it. I also washed your suit, though I couldnât be bothered to stitch it up, that's on you.â You said, double-checking you haven't left any folders on your desk. âIâm sure I still have some of your clothes I stole, so try not to get stabbed on the bus back home.â You searched your mind for anything else, before coming to a stop in front of your couch, struggling to say the last order which was on the tip of your tongue.Â
âWhere are you going?â Siyeon asked, laying back again, mindlessly rubbing her arm.Â
âI still have some research hours left, so Iâm gonna lock myself in the lab,â you said, dryly as you patted your coat pockets before finding the correct pocket and pulling out the spare key. Placing it on the coffee table, you said, âDonât throw yourself from the window and leave like a normal person. Return the key when you can, hopefully not when youâre dying at my doorstep, please.âÂ
âSo you want me to come over again?â You could imagine the garish grin and her wiggling eyebrows as she asked the question. When you rolled your eyes, yet again, Siyeon sighed. âBut seriously, Y/N, I really appreciate this⌠I really appreciate you.âÂ
Looking at the key, your eyes flashed white as she said that. Sensing Siyeon shuffling closer, you darted to the end of the couch and turned to pull the blanket to her before tucking her in again.Â
âStayââ you stuttered when you saw the creases on Siyeonâs forehead again. Once again, you wanted to press her worries away, and when you glanced at the expression she wore you ached to kiss her forehead again but something stopped you. Not looking at her, you patted her hand before giving it a squeeze. âStay as long you want.â
Your hand was already leaving her when Siyeon tried to reach out, perhaps her reflexes werenât that fast. Gripping your bag, you headed to your door when the final order came to your lips.Â
âHeat up your breakfast, literally takes a second to just microwave it. Don't be lazy!â You shouted, before slamming the door shut but not before hearing Siyeon chuckling.Â
Request:Â amusement park "date" with your best friend Siyeon where she finally asks to be your girlfriend
A/N: Iâm so soft for her itâs just sad. I hope you enjoy! <3
âCome on slow poke! Hurry up, before the line gets too long.â
Siyeon skips ahead of you, displaying that boundless energy you know so well. Sheâs been your best friend since you were in diapers and you knew everything about her, as she did you. You conât help the smile that graces your face when she turns to you and sticks her tongue out.
âYouâre so slow, will you just come on?â Siyeon makes a show of stomping over to you and grabbing you hand.
âYou ever think maybe you are the one moving too fast?â
Her eyebrows lift at you but she doesnât give any other response. She simply drags you to the cotton candy stand at her pace. The line isnât too bad so the two of you just wait in a comfortable silence. Thatâs when Siyeon canât help but notice just how soft your hand is for the billionth time since you met in grade school.Â
When you first met, Siyeon was the one to approach you first, requesting to be your friend, and the rest was history. That, of course, is until middle school where she began to develop feelings for you she couldnât quite understand. She manages to put it aside until your sophomore year of high school together. That is when she began to really notice how nice you always smell, how soft your skin was to the touch, and how any time you were in her proximity her heart beat violently in her chest. Had she had crushes outside of you? Definitely, but she always found herself comparing every prospective partner to you; and they just never managed to measure up to her expectations. She tried to occupy her mind with other things to forget about her feelings for you but to no avail.Â
Eventually, she joined an amateur rock band with a few of your mutual friends as the lead singer. This time Siyeon thought for sure she could forget about you romantically, because the amount of groupies she had was through the roof. Maybe, just maybe she could occupy the empty space in her heart with these other people. Again, they never measure up to you.
So here you are together in your freshman year of college together and her feelings have never wavered. After consulting her friends and bandmates they came up with a game plan. She would take you on a date in order to ask you out, which was an awesome plan. Except, she never told you it was a date when she asked you. You assumed that this trip to Lotte World was just an ordinary hang out between you two.
Though this isnât an ideal scenario Siyeon decides to make the most of it. Even if you didnât know it was a date, she was hell bent on treating it as such.
âYah, your hands are so soft.âÂ
Siyeon brings your hand in front of her face and rubs it in awe.
âItâs called lotion Siyeon. I can lend you some of the one I use if you like it that much.â
All you get is a hum in what you assume is approval. She places your hands back down by your sides and not long after sheâs picking at the skin on your hands. You smile a tiny smile and just let her do her thing. You always found it cute, even though you werenât sure where the habit came from. She does it every time she has any kind of access to your hands so you always just assumed it was a comfort thing. When you look over at her face sheâs so spaced out that she doesnât notice you two are next in line.
âHun, are you going to order or should I do it for you?â
âEh?â Siyeon looks over at you with her mouth open in surprise. All you can do is laugh and order her what you know she likes.
âYou doing okay Singnie? Youâre being a little weird.â You eye her skeptically and take notice of the way she shifts your hand from one of hers to the other.Â
âY/N do you ever want to just do something but canât seem to work up the nerve for it?â
âAll the time, you know how anxious I get.â Siyeon nods at that and you watch as she takes a deep breath.Â
âWhat would you say if I told you that I want to be more than just your best friend.â Her voice is small but you hear her loud and clear.
At first you think sheâs just messing with you and then you see the earnest feelings in her eyes. Then, you feel how despite her nerves and fear of rejection, she continues to hold your hand and pinch at it.
âI would say what does the upgraded package include that I donât already get as your best friend?âÂ
Siyeonâs eyes meet yours to see that oh so familiar mischievous glint in your eyes. One of her hands leaves your hand and gently rests on your hip.
âWell it comes with lip kisses instead of just cheek kisses as the standard,â She steps a little closer and slides her hand further until she rests on the small of your back. âBut itâs really more of a customizable exclusivity bundle.â
âMeaning?â You snort but caress her face anyway.
âMeaning whatever you want, you can have.âÂ
With that you both lean in to share your first kiss.
âY/N. Let me be yours?â
You donât respond with words right away. You wrap your arms around her, food forgotten, in a warm hug.
âYou already are Singnie. Now come on, letâs eat and go play some games.â
Siyeon let you drag her around after you both enjoyed the churros you bought. It doesnât really register for either of you until youâre both in your respective bedrooms that night texting all night. Your transition from friends to lovers isnât a difficult ones since you were practically a couple before. Even so, Siyeon is proud of herself for mustering the courage to finally tell you how she felt.Â

the street lights shone threw the window of the small apartment casting its colors on the silent apartment.the figure of the girl sat with the only sound coming from the clock on the wall, she had tuned the TV off just minutes before. now sitting in alone in the apartment with the light of the street, the tiks of the clock, and the warmth of a blanket to keep her company. she had lost herself in her own thoughts and imagination, her day had started with a peaceful morning accompanied by her sweet girlfriend siyeon. if only the rest of her day had held the same joy, after leaving to her college classes to being late for work because she had been held a little longer back to ask her professor a question. the amount of pressure and stress had piled up. she was thankful that she had finished the assignments after she returned home.
(y/n) had finished the assignments around 11:00 pm. At that time she made the decision to stay up and wait for siyeon. As she waited she had been watching shows on the television but somewhere her thoughts began to take over. losing her self in thoughts and dreams that made her heart and stomach turn with each of the ideas that entered the girls head. It was at that time the TV had been silenced and the girl had arrived in her current state. waves of unknown sadness that made her cry and insides twist. she had no idea how long she had been in this state of anguish.
for the first time in what had felt like minutes she shifted her head to look at the time. in her mind (y/n) thought maybe only 40 minutes had passed, but what she believed to be 1:40 am really more like 3 am. as she began to shift her body to a different more comforting position, the sounds of keys jiggling and the door opening told her all she needed to know.
âsweet heart your still up?â siyeonâs voice held that of curiosity and worry,â ya i wasn't feeling 100% you know but i wanted to see you.â . placing her bag lightly on the floor siyeon hummed in understatement of your problems. â well do you wanna talk or go to bed? its up to you (y/n)â. the girls body lifted swiftly from the couch and with long strides she had her arms wrapped around her girlfriends waist.
â can we go to bed please, i have to day off work tomorrow as well as no classes, so i talk to you tomorrow about it.i can also make you girls lunch as well?â (y/n) said before quickly pecking siyeon on the lips a playful smile then pulled across her face â of course honey and that would be amazing if you donât mind cookingâ the girl shook her head to show she was happy to do it.
After heading to the room, changing, and finally slipping into bed to rest for their well deserved rest.cuddling more into siyeonâs body (y/n)âs became heavy with the exhaustion of the day finally hitting her hard. siyeon let out a sweet laugh before kissing (y/n)âs cheek.
âgoodnight (y/n)â

Running away was not an option. Neither was screaming. You were completely at Jiuâs mercy and she seemed to be enjoying that kind of power. âJust tell me, Y/N.â It seemed like the question has been cut before getting to the important part, but the other half never came. Jiu was glaring at you in expectation and her patience was clearly wearing thin.
âWhat do you want from me?â you asked, cursing the slight shakiness in your voice. Showing weakness could be deadly in your current situation.
âExplanation. Why are you here?â Maybe it wasnât the smartest move to snap at her, but you couldnât help it.
âWhy am I here? Arenât you the one who brought me here? It all happened when you decided to start chasing me in my dreams!â
Surprisingly, your angry words seemed to make some impact. âItâs a completely different thing that weâre not going to discuss now.â Jiu stated firmly. âIâm asking about your presence in Dreamworld.â
âYou invited me to Dreamworld. You even personally welcomed me here!â
Her icy glare made her look like a polar opposite of the bubbly girl you saw at school. Almost like she was a different person. âSo you really have no idea. Good.â You wanted to know what she was talking about, but forcing her to talk would probably be fruitless. âYou donât want to go deeper into this, Y/N.â She said and glanced towards a mirror on of the walls. âYou could get hurt.â
âAt least we know they work together.â Your friend noted everything about this nightâs dream in her notebook. âNow we have to find out what they want from you.â
You leaned on a table next to her. âIâm not sure they want something from me. Jiu seemed irritated by my presence and Siyeon only wanted to get answers.â
Your friend looked at you curiously. âThere has to be some reason for all of you to keep hanging out in this whole dreamworld.â Being forced to talk in a creepy room wasnât your definition of hanging out, but Chaeyoung had a point. It seemed to be a part of something much bigger, but you couldnât put your finger on it. âMaybe we should find the house.â
You turned rapidly and knocked down some books. âYou think this place exists?â
Chaeyoung shrugged. âLook, itâs better than nothing. The girls are real, so the mansion can be real too. I read that itâs almost impossible to imagine something with so many details.â That was a start. Very questionable and a bit absurd, but a start. If you found that place, maybe you could find out more about your situation or even put an end to it.
You were lost in thoughts about regaining healthy sleep schedule when Chaeyoung started hitting your arm. âY/N, Y/N! Look!â She pointed towards one of the exits where Sua and Siyeon were talking. It was the first time you saw these two together at school. âThey may be saying something important.â Your friend suggested.
Siyeon looked pretty troubled and kept glancing around as if she was worried somebody could hear them. Her companion must have noticed that, because she took her hand and led her out of the cafeteria. Chaeyoung hit your arm once more and showed you to follow them. You got up from your seat and quickly moved towards the exit. The hard part was to find the girls and listen to their conversation without raising their suspicions. You walked through the hall, passing some other students without any trace of Sua and Siyeon. Where could they go? It had to be some secluded place, but close to the main building.
âHey, Joy!â You waved towards the cheerleader and quickly approached her. âI have to ask Sua about our assignment. Do you know where she is?â You lied with an innocent smile.
Joy scoffed and frowned at the mention of her fellow cheerleaderâs name. âSheâs probably making out with her girlfriend somewhere.â She answered with venom in her voice.
You were taken aback by it, because Joy was always smiling brightly. âHer girlfriend?â you asked and Joy smiled weakly.
âDonât even try Y/N. Sheâs the type of girl to get whatever she wants. Try looking in the locker room.â
Her suggestion made a lot of sense, but something still didnât add up. âI thought cheerleaders canât be there when itâs not practice.â
Joyâs eyes got even more clouded and she cleared her throat. âYeah, well. The captain can go anywhere she pleases.â
You nodded as she walked past you when suddenly you understood her weird behavior. âI was sure you are the captain.â
Joy turned around and flashed you another sad smile. âWhatever she wants, Y/N. Be careful.â With that she walked away to join her another friends. You moved towards the locker room thinking how in the world Sua managed to push Joy off her position. Students loved that girl and replacing her seemed to be impossible.
You creeped into the locked room and noticed that it was empty. It seemed like the girls already left or were never here in the first place. Just as you were about to turn around and leave, you heard voices getting closer and closer. Your breath caught in your throat as you dashed into one of the bathroom stalls and prayed that no one catches you lurking around locker rooms like some kind of creep.
âWeâll find her, Singnie.â Suaâs voice sounded uncharacteristically soft. It wasnât her usual high chipper or the low whisper she used that night. A loud sigh was heard next to her.
âI donât know, Bora.â This took you by surprise. Why would Siyeon call Sua that? âItâs like she disappeared into thin air. No sign of her anywhere.â
There was a short moment of silence that was soon ended by Suaâs serious tone. âDid anyone tell Dami?â Siyeon must have answered nonverbally, because you didnât hear anything. âWe have to do something about this. We lost another member less then a week after the first disappearance.â
âYou donât have to remind me.â Siyeon huffed and you had to restrain yourself from imagining her bangs being moved by the stream of air coming from her lips. âAt least we took care of that guy.â
Suaâs warm giggle made your heart flutter, even though the conversation started drifting towards the murder territory. âYeah, no more trouble from that one.â She announced smugly. âIt was fun, though.â
Her words earned another huff from Siyeon. âWe have different definitions of fun.â You could practically hear her rolling her eyes. âLetâs just hope Gahyeon finds something soon.â
The answer was drowned by the sound of the bell and the girls left. You waited until their footsteps werenât audible and quickly moved back to the class, knowing that you will be terribly late. Maybe Mrs. Lee wonât give you detention.
âSo weâre sure that Yoohyeonâs missing.â Chaeyoung whispered. You were both trying to talk about everything without getting busted by the supervisor. Being late to class made you get detention immediately and Chaeyoung heroically sacrificed herself and joined you. âWhat about the other one?â
You shrugged. âNo idea. Sua called them a âmemberâ, so they must be one of them. Do you think itâs another student?â
Chaeyoung shrugged and kept typing on her phone. She preferred that to taking the notebook out in school since that incident a few days ago. Besides, it way easier to hide a small device that the journal. âNone of our students disappeared recently.â She whispered after a moment. âAt least, there is nothing about it on the Internet.â
The teacher left for a while, so you could talk normally for a moment. Chaeyoung moved her chair closer and looked around the room. âWhy would Joy be here?â You looked at the girl. She avoided eye contact with anyone and stared at the wall. âDoesnât she have practice?â
âShe may not want to be there at the moment.â You sighed and Chaeyoung glanced at you curiously, ready to ask another question. âSheâs not the captain anymore.â
Your friends eyes got big as she stared at Joy in shock. âWhat?! They have a huge competition coming up. Why would they do that? Who is the new captain?â You sighed again and moved closer to her.
âSua.â You revealed and Chaeyoung seemed like she was about to pass out.
âThatâs impossible.â She stated. âOr unreasonable at least. Sua is a senior, Y/N. Giving her charge for only a few month doesnât make any sense. UnlessâŚâ
âUnless what?â
âUnless itâs just a cover for something bigger.â Chaeyoung took out her phone and got back to typing. You eyed her without any clue what was happening.
âWhat do you mean, Chae?â she looked at you as if you were dumb.
âThink about it, Y/N.â she started explaining. âSua is the cheerleader captain. Siyeon and Yoohyeon are the most important ones in the bandâŚâ
âAnd Jiuâs the school president.â You finished as everything finally clicked. âThey have the most important duties in school.â
Chaeyoung nodded and moved her phone in your direction. âThe band previously played different music, but got no recognition. Siyeon and Yoohyeon changed everything and became crazy popular.â
You saw a photo of a few girls in bright clothing. They seemed to be very sweet and cheerful as they smiled and made cute poses to the camera. Next to the them was a picture of the current band which was the polar opposite. You noticed that it was the same set of girls with two members added â Siyeon and Yoohyeon.
âThese are the same people.â You noticed. Chaeyoung nodded and put her finger on the first photo.
âMinus Wendy.â She explained and you looked at a pretty girl with bangs. Your friend was right, she wasnât in the second picture. âPeople say that she got severe stage fright and stopped performing.â
You couldnât stop thinking that all of this wasnât a coincidence. Influential people in school started losing their positions due to these girls. âWhat about Jiu? She isnât the president for that long either.â
âThereâs no drama in her case.â Chaeyoung shrugged. âIrene graduated and Jiu was elected as the next president.â In that moment the supervisor walked into the classroom and announced that you can go home. You linked your arms with Chaeyoung and left. You were planning to have a sleepover soon to destress and try to take your minds of the terrifying dreams that kept haunting you. Walking through the familiar streets with your best friend made you feel a bit more at ease. Like you could finally breathe. Maybe there was a way to solve everything. Your optimistic thoughts were interrupted by a paper flying right into your face. Chaeyoung burst out laughing as you yelped in surprise.
âVery funny.â You grumbled and she took the page off. She crumpled it and started walking towards the closest garbage can when your blood ran cold. âWait!â you snatched the paper and ignored her confused questions. You straightened the paper and looked at the headline as you felt yourself trembling. Local man goes missing and a picture of a building. The building. That building.
âY/N? Y/N, whatâs wrong.â Chaeyoung shook your arm.

Agreeing to play a mini-game of Quidditch with the group of goblins you call friends may not have been your wisest decision.Â
Not to say you couldnât handle a broom, but amongst actual Quidditch players and friends who had no conscience when it came to competitions, it was not an understatement to say your life was in danger. Of course, these thoughts only occurred as you were plummeting from an unimaginable height and not when youâd made an outrageous bet under the high of completing your OWLs exams.Â
One second you were zipping past your friends, teeth bearing grin on your face and the Quaffle secure in your hand, and the next you were thrown off of your broom. No Quaffle, no broom, and no grin. Flailing about like a fish out of water, the wind thrashed at your uniform and swallowed your screams as you gained speed, the ground rising up at an alarming rate.Â
Before you could even think of grabbing your wand to cast a cushioning spell to save yourself from your impending doom, a strong hand wrapped around your waist and hoisted you uncomfortably onto their broom. However, with your saviourâs momentum and how close to the ground you had been, their broom went careening, throwing you off of a broom for the second time today.Â
Fortunately, you seemed to have somewhat conscientious friends as you felt a soft thump against your back before rolling onto the pitch, eating grass. Your saviour came to a stop next to you, panting, dishevelled, and no doubt furious at your attackers.Â
Huffing and puffing, Siyeon asked breathily to the sky, âare you okay, Y/N?â
âThat was so stupidââ Siyeonâs head snapped to you, her face contorted into confusion while she tried to prop herself up on her elbows, âI wouldâve been fine!ââ
Funnily enough, as you made your point, you began coughing as if your body were to say that no, you would not have been fine. Though you doubted your own reflexes, you were thankful for your friends who watched the stupid bets and hasty matches instead of taking part, if not for themâŚyou would definitely not be fine.Â
Siyeon scooted closer to you, cautiously angling herself above you as her thumb caressed your cheek. âEyelash,â was all she said as she avoided your gaze; a pitiful reason to hold your face. Leaning into her touch, you pressed your lips into a thin line to suppress the laughter emerging at her pathetic attempt at flirting.Â
âWe lost the bet,â you sighed out, watching your friends on their brooms lowering themselves to the ground having scored the winning point. You turned back to Siyeon, it was difficult to not notice the worry etched in the creases of her forehead when she was only inches away. âWe couldâveââ
Siyeon watched you swear under your breath as you vented about what couldâve happened. A soft smile appeared on her lips, seeing that you were good enough to be more concerned about a stupid bet even after your terrifying fall. Siyeon shook her head and said, âyouâre an idiot, you know.âÂ
You paused your rant and looked back at Siyeon, really looked at her; she mustâve been really worried. âYes, but Iâm your idiot,â you said offering an impish grin, before you took the hand that held your cheek and pushed forward to peck her lips. Even she couldnât argue with that logic, so before you could properly thank her she leaned in for another. Siyeon seemed seemed a bit better after that; the two of you just there, in the middle of a the Quidditch field, chuckling and mildly delirious.
Of course, that moment disappeared just as quickly as youâd been flung off of your broom.Â
âWrong, youâre both idiots.â A sharp voice from above you said, âand that was unbearable to watch, by the way.âÂ
Above you, floating on his Nimbus broom sat the Slytherin chaser, Yoon Jeonghan; the Quaffle in one hand accompanied by a bright smile that can only be worn by a ruthless winner. Beside him, the Gryffindor Seungcheol, who on the other hand, wore an apologetic smile for tackling you. A mini-match of Quidditch with your friends was no simple task, especially with the bet youâd agreed uponâŚwhich was exactly why Siyeon said this next.
âYou cheated!â Siyeon accused, fully sitting up now as Jeonghan landed, shaking his head.Â
âI did no such thing! Thatâs our move, itâs just basic Quidditch!â Jeonghan said, as Siyeon wagged her finger.Â
âWe play Quidditch,â she said motioning to her and Jeonghan, then pointed at your, nearly poking an eye out. âY/N doesnât! You canât pull stuff like that!âÂ
Jeonghan shrugged, âSeungcheol doesnât play Quidditch either soââ
âJeonghan, how is that fair? Seungcheol is built like a Giantâ I demand a rematch!â Your small group of friends that had gathered to watch the two Slytherins yell, grunted in disapproval at Siyeonâs words. It was understandable, with their OWLs completed and three somewhat decent mini-games of Quidditch behind them, all anyone wanted was a filling dinner and good night of sleep.Â
Raising an eyebrow, Jeonghan said, âtry again. Loser.âÂ
Siyeonâs mouth fell open as charged silence fell over the group, even you were holding your breath and when Siyeon spoke next, snorts and sniggers erupted amongst your friends. With her head hanging low, Siyeon grumbled, âplease consider a rematchâŚProfessor Yoon.âÂ
Jeonghan brought a finger to his lips as he pretended to contemplate this suggestion while he jumped off of his broom. Then with a saccharine smile, he said, âpermission denied, Ms Lee.âÂ
Nayeonâs unique guffaw was heard above your friends' cackles while Jeonghan stared at Siyeon with a triumphant grin. Seungcheol, dropping down from his broom, walked over to you to help you up with an apology on his lips.Â
Being the honourable loser, you said, âthank you, Professor Choi.â
With his dimples in full display, he only cringed at your words as the rest of you watched Jeonghan drill out orders for Siyeon to carry out. Though you and Joshua were also supposed to be carrying out this punishment, you hung back with the rest of the group, laughing at the sight of Siyeon running behind her professor as the sun began to descend, signalling the last night of your fifth year at Hogwarts.
