lowkey don't want to spread any narratives so pls take this with a grain of salt, it's just a personal take. but i just saw the mood teaser 1 for enhypen's brand renewal...and what type of renewal it actually is, we'll know with time ofc, and it's not gonna be a long wait either. but i personally think they'll be making changes to the vampire concept or something along those lines.
and ngl i kind of want them to change it, even though i officially became a fan because the lore was insanely detailed and i love a good conspiracy theory lol. but i feel like it still restricts the label (from expanding into more territories) and it restricts the members too (from finding their own individual color). i bet heeseung wasn't the only one who wanted to do his own thing either...i think ni-ki and jay are just as passionate about exploring stuff on their own. jungwon's said he prefers being in the group and isn't really interested in solo stuff, but that's him speaking for himself in that case. even sunoo, jake, and sunghoon have talked about wanting to do their own things too at some point (this doesn't necessarily mean that they don't want to be in the group anymore).
so this rebrand feels like sort of a necessity at this point tbh. they're in their 6th year now, they need to start exploring their own true identities as artists too. and if belift keeps doing what they did with heeseung, i don't think it'll be long before other members start considering leaving too (again, just my pov but doesn't it kinda make sense?). i'd bet a lot of brands are after the members individually and belift just keeps pushing this one-group agenda instead.
i also think they really need to drop the whole "connection" angle, because i feel like a big part of why all 7 of them got hit with so much backlash is because belift sold this idea of connection, fate, destiny...so when heeseung left it created this contradiction that made a lot of fans go "didn't they say they'd be connected no matter what? then why'd he leave?" like the lore promised something the real world couldn't actually guarantee.
also (unrelated but had to say it) i don't think ni-ki fucks with the vampire concept AT ALL lmao, just my opinion. but with how vocal he's been about regretting just going along with whatever the label said early in his career, i genuinely thought he'd be the one to leave first.
anyway, all in all i think a rebrand is lowkey necessary for enha rn. could've done this while heeseung was still in the group too honestly, let all 7 of them have the chance to explore their own things in between comebacks instead of touring back to back nonstop. but here we are. let's see what belift actually wants to achieve from this brand renewal aside from my take on this move.
