A new year usually brings about a plethora of resolutions from people. I have a variety of goals I would like to accomplish this year.
As mentioned before, I deferred my entry to the Marine Corps Marathon to October 2014 due to a foot injury. The foot feels good now so I will continue to train as normal for the marathon. As a friendly challenge with my peers, I plan on accomplishing a personal half-marathon run by March 31, 2014.
Another interesting goal for the year is to acquire some six pack abs by the end of May. My friend, Chris, challenged a group of friends to get in shape. Challenge accepted! Six pack abs will go a long way in showing some dedication to getting in shape. More details to follow...
As far as my travel plans for the year? That's a good question. I have high hopes for doing some quality travel this year. Another trip to Europe is high on my list as well as a cross-country trek to the West Coast. I would love to experience a few new cities on the West Coast including Seattle and Portland. If I could make it again to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego, that would be awesome. Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston are a few cities I would like to visit as well this year. Hopefully, I can figure this all out soon.
Here's to a great new year!
