hey hi hello i just saw ur current goals list and i was wondering if there's any change in sior priority at any point in the future 👉👈 Obviously you should focus on your current plans and interests so i hope this isn't out of line to ask! and i follow you so i'm genuinely excited to see all your upcoming stuff but i really do miss that comic so i wanted to see if it has any potential hope for the future still or is it a done abandoned deal at this point?
honestly, it's really moving that someone is still asking about SIOR after such a long hiatus. i'm currently still working on other projects as much as i can, and i have to daily deal with muscle pain and insomnia that take a lot of time away from me, which makes it way harder to work and make art. i end up spending as much time as i got left on sketching things that are pleasant to me and leaving it at that most days. i've been writing out a lot of a new project lately, and i'm hoping to get in good enough shape to go back to bbj soon. i'm not ready to make peace with the thought that any of the comics i got clunking around in my head never see the light of day because of how little time i physically have for them, and that includes SIOR. the truth is though, that this story is really vast and even if i get around to it again, i'm not sure if it gets finished. i still think about these characters from time to time and i hope that someday i can return to them in some form at least. even if they end up just as characters that i just spontaneously doodle and make little comics about in the future, i'll call it a win at this point, though i constantly miss actually doing comics with all i got, and making every page as pretty as i possibly can. if i decide that i'll never return to SIOR, i'll make sure to post an outline of the story one day so that a few old readers may still see it. i hope that giving some hope to you like that is not a bad thing, even if it ends up false to some degree <3
