Hey Sip,I finally watched Sinners, and I really enjoyed it. I went in almost completely blind, so at first I thought it was going to be a historical drama. I wasn't expecting the vampires twist at all, which made the reveal even better 👀
The atmosphere was incredible, and the soundtrack was one of my favorite parts. I also watched it in the original audio, and I loved hearing the period dialect 😅 Without subtitles I would've been completely lost at times they were swallowing so many sounds

Ryan Coogler, Nia DaCosta, and, of course, Jordan Peele are phenomenal directors and are genuinely helping shape modern horror and film as a whole. And don't even get me started on Göransson's score.
I usually sit outside at night with a glass of iced tea, especially now that my jasmine is blooming, and listen to Mount Bayou / Proper Black Folks while I get all up in my feelings. It's such a vibe.
I'm honestly so pumped for HHN this year because of it. And if they're singing The Rocky Road to Dublin in the queue, I will be doing a jig. 😂
I also wonder if Bryan will go, considering the rumored house is Ozzy. We all know that man loves some Ozzy.
