OTTO
As much as he loved you, Otto had to admit that your behavior at the beginning of your relationship strook him as peculiar. At first he thought you were just one of those people who talks to themselves. But then it would seem you were referring to some invisible presence in the room.
“Don’t say that. You know I don’t like it when you eat people!”
To say he was worried was an understatement.
“Dear? Who are you talking to?”
“Uh,” you mumbled, “I’m using bluetooth! Yeah!”
“Why the hell are you talking to a cannibal?”
Once you and Otto had established a strong foundation of trust between each other, you decided it was time to tell him the truth. Of course, there was no easy way of telling your boyfriend you had bonded with an extraterrestrial symbiotic organism that likes tater tots.
“Otto. You know how like, aliens are a thing?”
“Ah yes, Peter’s mentioned several invasions. Why?”
“...There’s someone you should meet.”
Before he could inquire upon your strange behavior, hell broke loose.
“Hello, Y/N’s boyfriend,” a deep voice growled, coming from an obsidian ooze forming from your shoulder.
“WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS THAT-” The man jumped, his metal tentacles on high alert, whirring protectively at the sight.
“Otto, it’s alright. This is Venom. Venom, please stop baring your teeth like that, you’re scaring him.”
“Sorry. I was trying to smile.”
It was a pretty big adjustment to say the least. The shock took a while to wear off, considering that learning about your s/o’s alien symbiotic relationship can be a tad absurd. Once he had managed to compose himself, he certainly had a lot of questions.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I didn’t want to freak you out, I really like being with you, Otto. I just feel comfortable sharing this part of me with you now. I’m sorry, I know this is a lot to handle,” you frowned, averting your gaze from him.
“Well, I definitely didn’t anticipate this,” he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, “How does this relationship between you two work, exactly?”
You continued to explain how you and Venom operated, giving him the gist on the Klyntar; other people with symbiotes; your powers; Venom himself, and the important note that you two work together equally.
“So I’m in a relationship with you and your alien?”
“Only if you want to be! Venom likes you a lot, actually.”
The two of you had talked for hours, Otto’s confusion eventually evolving into intrigue. His scientific side had been incredibly excited at the prospect of meeting life from space, especially one as unique as Venom.
“How would you like to talk with Venom for a bit?”
“As if this situation could get any stranger. Sure, where is the parasite?”
“That’s incredibly offensive!” Venom snarled.
“V! Don’t be mean, he didn’t know!”
“Uh. Apologies - Venom, is it?”
“Yes. We are Venom.”
“It’s… nice to meet you,” Otto said, hesitantly reaching his hand out to shake. Suddenly a dark slimy arm formed from yours, grasping his hand tightly.
“Thank you for your hand,” Venom replied, “...But why are you giving it to me?”
At first, things were turbulent between the two. Frequently, Otto would find himself annoyed by the alien’s brash nature.
“Venom, please don’t be so messy when you’re here. You’re destroying the carpet.”
“I’M JUST TRYING TO EAT, TENTACLE MAN-”
Despite their differences they eventually grew close, Otto joining you in teaching him about human life. He had to admit, living with an alien could be amusing. And Venom in return would answer all of Otto’s scientific questions; even begrudgingly letting him analyze a sample of him. With time, the three of you became quite the trio, Otto learning to love Venom as much as you did.
“I made us dinner,” Venom boomed. To your surprise, it looked edible. One could actually consider what laid on the table to be food.
“Venom, this is wonderful!” You grinned, taking a seat in front of Otto.
Otto couldn’t help but smile at the gesture. Venom more and more began to show Otto his caring side, and he truly appreciated the fun Venom would bring.
MAX
You had luckily told Max before you started dating, back when you were close friends. The only people you’d tell about Venom were those you trusted the most, and Max was quickly ascending to the top of the list. He met you at your apartment when you broke the news to him.
“Max. I’m bonded with an alien symbiote named Venom. I’m his host. I turn into him and sometimes we fight crime and sometimes we cause it. He’s very big and scary but also kind of sweet.” you rambled on, anxious to see his reaction.
“You’re joking.”
“I’m not a joke!” The symbiote shouted, suddenly defensive.
“OH.” Max replied simply, eyes widening at your form slowly transforming into Venom.
“...Wow. You’re big, huh?” His eyes were still wide, his voice stuttering, taking in the imposing creature.
“Yes. We are quite tall.”
“And you’re an alien?” Max asked, Venom replying with a nod.
“Holy shit!” He laughed, “This is awesome!”
Max assured you that he’d keep Venom a secret. All in all, it didn’t seem that crazy. The multiverse existed. Magic was a thing. He had electric powers. Who’s to say you couldn’t bond with an alien?
Before you started dating, Venom would be your number 1 wingman.
“Get Max red velvet cupcakes. I think they’re his favorite.”
“Max is really cool. We, are really cool. We’re perfect for each other!” Venom proclaimed proudly.
After you and Max shared a particularly electric first kiss, before you could give him another, you were interrupted.
“Wow Max! You are an excellent kisser!” Venom shouted.
“VENOM-”
Venom and Max got along incredibly well. He would warm up to Venom quickly, asking him questions and gushing over how cool he was. Venom absolutely loved the attention.
“At least Max appreciates me!”
“I do appreciate you, Venom. But I can’t be your personal chef right now.”
“Is everything okay?” Max asked, popping his head into the room.
“Venom’s hangry.”
“Oh. I’ll go put some tater tots in the oven.”
If anyone is ever rude to Max, just like how people could be before he turned into Electro, both you and Venom are livid.
“I know I say not to eat people. But maybe you should eat that asshole!” You snapped angrily.
“I think that’s a great idea,” Venom grinned, pouncing towards his next meal.
You, Max, and Venom were attached to the hip. With his electricity and your alien symbiote, you’re unstoppable.
NORMAN
Norman isn’t one to judge. He has an evil alter ego with super strength and murderous tendencies. It seemed he wasn’t the only one with another voice inside his head. Of course he was a bit shocked, but in truth, he was mostly excited. He was meeting an alien!
“Incredible. The alien can speak! How did it come to Earth? What does he eat? Is he-”
“The alien can hear you,” Venom interrupted, his ooze masking your figure.
“Hello, there. You’re quite something, aren’t you?” Norman chuckled, despite being more than a bit intimidated by Venom's form.
“...Y/N said you’d pester me.” Venom sighed.
If you ever encounter conflict with Venom, Norman is quick to sympathize. He knows how hard it can be, trying to balance two entirely different trains of thought.
“Venom. Y/N is right. Please don’t eat the mailman,” Norman pleaded. “In fact, eat the chicken in the fridge instead. Once you’re done, could you give Y/N a break? They’re quite tired.”
“Fine.”
Although he knows not to anger Venom, the goblin doesn’t necessarily understand that. Sometimes the two will clash and inevitably, chaos will ensue.
“We could rule the world together, Venom. You, me and Y/N can do anything with our minds put together!” The goblin cackled.
“I’M TRYING TO LISTEN TO ENYA. LEAVE NOW, GOBLIN MAN,” Venom roared, his patience wearing thin with the super-villain.
But he tolerates Norman. Venom is a bit annoyed by his constant scientific questions and prodding, but he appreciates Norman’s quiet demeanor.
“Venom, may I take another sample? Please-”
“No.”
“Please?”
“If Y/N weren’t here, I definitely would’ve eaten you by now.

Warnings: few cusses, grammar, use of "dude" once but mostly gender neutral, no use of y/n..i think
Pairings: Sinister Five x gn!reader(platonic); Octogoblin x gn!reader(implied romantic but can also be close platonic)
Summary: A small spark of creativity could make a flame of..interesting events..
Special thanks to @aviary-co for the GIF 🥰
You were tinkering away at the built-in lab in your house, having a close relationship with Tony Stark has really many pros than cons and this being one of them.
The house that you are currently living in alongside the former 'sinister five' is included in that list. It's a very nice, simple modern two-story house that was able to accommodate 5-6 people. It is fenced and has both front and backyard, patches of grasses and bushes placed neatly and accordingly. (the design and layout of the house and lot is up to your imagination)
Now, back to you tinkering. You were happily making some little adjustments to Peter's suit. The boy trusted you enough to allow you to add a few modifications. Though you wouldn't call yourself some kind of mechanic, or any of that but you were knowledgeable enough that you could probably make an animatronic come to life. (the modification is up to you since i could not come up with anything at the moment 😁)
While adding a few touch ups on the suit, your eyes glanced at the goggles sitting at the table on your right. It was Norman's green goblin goggles that you decided to keep. The man was insistent on throwing it away, and you couldn't blame him for doing so, but you don't want to waste such a fine accessory! Let's just say you're something of a collector yourself. You also changed a little bit of its design, giving it steampunk vibes, just so the former villain could rest easy. And it worked!
You gently put down Peter's spiderman suit and pushed yourself away from the table you were working on, letting your swivel chair roll against the floor and bring you to the table where the eye accessory sat. Taking it from the table, you bring it close to your face. The memory of making a model and 3d printing the added design on the goggles made you smile. Norman's reaction seeing it made you smile wider, he said it didn't even dawn at him that it was the goggles he used to use, his face contorting from amusement to what you can think was wonder..although you weren't sure at that part since you were rambling off about resting your case on keeping the accessory.
You chuckle as the memory keeps playing in your head, leaning back to your chair and bringing the goggles with you as you prop your feet up on the table where the goggles were previously placed. Otto's face was also of amusement as his eyes kept switching back and forth from you and the goggles, at least that's what you remembered seeing while being a rambling mess in front of the two scientists.
Speaking of..
You wonder where they are, you stopped replaying the memory as you try to remember what happened before you decide to hyperfixate on the kid's suit.
It took you a minute, maybe more, to realize that they were all in the living room. Doing whatever men do when they're not busy. You could probably guess Norman is probably in the kitchen preparing dinner with Otto helping him, Max probably playing video games, while Flint and Curtis..maybe playing chess? You've seen them play chess against each other from time to time so the idea is not impossible.
Or you know, you could've just got up from your chair and see what they were doing but no. You're still on the chair..because an idea was sparking in your brain. It was a very random, yet mischievous and maybe inching towards the "stupid" side, idea that it made you take your feet off the table and sit up.
What if you take off the recently added designs on the goggles, it was detachable, and wear it WITH Otto's coat..?
The thought makes you all giddy and grin mischievously, wondering what the two's reactions will be. And without further ado you carefully detached the gold-painted designs, flee your lab and go to Otto's room.
You did not waste any second as you quite literally sprinted to the stairs and up to Otto's room while putting on the goggles on your head. You heard them call out to you and you replied with a quick, "Everything's fine, it's just...IDEA!!!!" This situation, you being all giddy and excited and stuff and running around, may or may have not happened quite a few times before that they have decided to leave you to your own devices when it occurs.
You reached Otto's door and swiftly opened it, you took a second to scan the room if it was empty or were you disrupting something, finding nothing you also decided to glance at the stairs to see if any of your..targets.. followed you. Relieved on seeing none you entered the room and quietly shut the door.
Otto's room was as simple and neat as the man himself. Everything was well-organised and not a speck of anything out of place in the room. You have admired the way he had made himself at home countless times before as this wasn't the first you entered his quarters and it just makes you..maybe a little warm inside. Seeing the physical resemblance of his comfort, which took awhile but you couldn't blame the man, brings a little joy to you.
FOCUS.
Oh right. The idea. Nearly throwing yourself to the closet as you sprinted across the room, you hastily opened it. You did a small double-take at your actions though, checking if you did not accidentally rip the closet door from its hinges. Seeing as you did not, you carefully dug through the clothes the doctor had bought for himself a month ago, trying to find the coat he wore when he first arrived in this universe as quickly as you could.
Where the hell- OH.
You quickly snatched the piece of clothing and swiftly put the coat on. The smell that just screams Otto Octavios, along with the warmth the coat is giving, drowns your senses. It's just so comfortable and-and–
FOCUS.
Right. Right. RIGHT. Focus! You then hold the lenses of the goggles that were sitting on top of your head and you bring it down to your eyes. Adjusting it a little making sure it was sitting comfortably on your face while trying to find a mirror. Once you catch your reflection you can't help but laugh. Otto's coat was so fucking big on your frame that it almost made you look like a small child wearing an adult's clothing. The shoulder part was hanging off your shoulder, the sleeves are big and long that your hands are nowhere to be seen, and the coat has pooled on your feet, giving a little bit of cloak vibes to you.
You rolled up the sleeves a little just so you could at least see your hand, patting the coat and off you go.
You opened the door and peeked to the hallway, seeing the coast was clear you closed the door behind you and walked to the stairs. You took a small breath in and out and prepped yourself, quickly making an impromptu introduction in your head as you made your way down.
You halted before your feet could be seen and peeked from the small railings of the handle of the stairs, the lively living room clear from your spot. They were all talking amongst themselves and you guessed right about where each of them would be, your targets busy, the other two also busy..wait where's Max?
"The hell are yo-"
Your brain ran billion miles per hour as you connected the dots and was able to quietly shush Max, possibly flailing your arms with the long sleeves of the coat looking like you had amputated your arms in the air while silently shushing the man. The electricity wielding human was able to shut himself up on time that he didn't gain any attention from the people on the other side of the room.
"Just gooo and act like you didn't see me!"
You yelled in a whispering manner while shooing him away. He looked like he was about to ask something but you quickly shut him down with a look. He obeyed but with a disbelieving laugh and shaking his head, walking back to the couch he was sitting on previously. Flint and Curtis asked him why he was laughing but he kept silent and shrugged. Although Max was eyeing you as he continued playing.
That was fucking clooose.
With a last huff of determination and a small smirk of mischief, you finally made yourself known.
You let out the evilest cackle you could make and stomped your unmatched socked feet on the stairs, "Can the Sinister Five come out and plaaay?" you spoke loudly and may have made your voice sound like you have gone insane, maybe singing Beetlejuice's part in the musical is paying off a little at this moment. Your expression, of course, you did not forget. A wicked grin and scrunched brows were plastered on your face, resembling a manic person's expression as you turned towards your audience.
Max was trying not to laugh, Flint was confused, Curtis was amused at the performace while your targets, Otto and Norman, had little smiles on their faces but still confused about the situation.
Oh come on! I'm supposed to be fucking scary.
You whined in your head, their reaction annoying you a little. Although you did look a little ridiculous with the large coat and goggles and all. You didn't hide your annoyance though, you used it to continue and fuel your performance, "Oh, is this amusing you?" You sneered with a smooth tilt of your head, dropping the grin and replacing it with a deep frown.
"We don't..talk like that, dear.." Otto's small pause was clearly an indication that he was trying not to laugh at the performance you were freely giving. "We could-" Norman's thought was cut off as the lights flickered.
Max's joyous expression dropped into something serious at the flicker, the former sandman and lizard glancing at him accusingly made him yell, "what?! Just because I can control electricity y'all can look at me like that."
While all of them bickered you laughed, evil-ly, cutting their conversation. "You're all reeeaally underestimating me..aren't you?" You tilted your head to the other side while you prolonged the word, your wicked grin back to your face.
The lights continue to flicker, their expression now is much more serious than before, thinking that this is an actual foe and not the friend they have all known and began to love, moreso for the two scientists in the adjacent kitchen about the latter.
Max was confused though, he just talked to you not long ago before you started this whole thing. Actually, everyone is confused. They all had just spoken to you, even if briefly, and they are met with this….?
The expressions they're wearing satisfied you that you stopped messing with lights and started to laugh, genuinely and hysterically, not the evil one. You were bent over while clutching your stomach, laughing loudly, "Your faces!! HA!" You wheeze as you take off the goggles to wipe the tears from the corners of your eyes.
The previous tension that slowly filled the room dissipates into small chuckles as the group collectively relaxes. "This kid..I swear.." You heard Curtis mumble loud enough for the other people in the room to hear, making you double your laughter to the point that you were laying down on the cold floor.
"I- hehAHA- I- " wheeze "- I got you though!!" You snicker as you try to tone down your laughing but instead you laugh harder.
"That you did, you little minx. That you did.." Norman says with a little sigh. You could hear his feigned disappointment and a little bit of sarcasm through your laughing, "Though Otto's previous remark stands true. We don't talk like that, honey.."
You have finally calmed yourself down and are now only a giggling mess on the ground. "Yeah, yeah, suuure.." Chortling in between sentences as you sit up, crossing your legs as you look up to them from your spot. Max has his hand on his face while chuckling to himself, rubs his face before resuming his game, Flint and Curtis have also gone back to playing their chess, and Norman and Otto had delighted smirks etched on their face as one has leaned on the counter with both hands and the latter has his arms crossed on his chest while looking at you, his mechanical appendages floating behind him and chittering amongst themselves. Maybe they held a little bit of pride in their eyes but it was mostly joy and amusement.
You smirk as you twirl the goggles on your hands, having to roll up the sleeves of the giant man's coat beforehand, "So..I had a little thought.." you started but before you could continue you hear Flint humorously grumble, "here we go again.." earning small chuckles from the men in the room and a small laugh from you. "It's not like what you saw before noo! no, no.. it's just a thought really…just a thought." You reassure them with an eased grin and small flick of your other hand, "What would've been my villain name with this get up? I was thinking…Doc..Green..Ock…?? Wait- wait no that-"
All of the scientists look at you in bewilderment, "Doc Green Ock- what???" the perplexed Dr. Connors looks at your direction, now distracted from his game.
The dark skinned villain on the other chair not far from him was laughing hysterically, unable to pause his game making him lose, "Aww, damn it!!"
Flint rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, leaning back to his chair, "It's not like you did not name yourself just "Lizard" before, Connors.." "This is a completely different case!!"
"- jUst - wait. Wait let me come up with something better-" You try to control the humiliating situation that you're in, standing up and walking closer to the group as you try to think of a much better name, but before you could you accidentally slipped on the ridiculously large coat you were wearing. "Oh fu-" You swear you saw your life flash before your eyes. You braced yourself for the impact,
"Woah-" "Hey!" "Dude!" You heard multiple of them cry out to you-
But someone..or something wrapped itself around your figure and caught you before you landed harshly on the ground.
"Careful!" But Otto's voice boomed louder than the rest of them, worryingly, as his top right actuator that had curled itself around your frame gently lifted you and put you back on your feet. Small relieved sighs fill the room. You shyly glanced at them, Norman had left his previous place and is now on the door of the kitchen and Otto now had his human arms on his sides. You pat the mechanical limb, like a small thank you to the both of them, "Sorry, sorry, but as I was saying- how about Doc Goblin!!" You proudly stated as the actuator slowly unraveled from your body, its claws softly snapping at you as if giving you a gentle scolding, you sheepishly grinned at the AI and at the people in the room as you wore the goggles again, "Ehhh?"
"Hmm..not bad…" Flint comments while swiftly changing some of the pieces on the chessboard, grabbing the chance to cheat while his foe was distracted. Said foe is looking at you incredulously while glancing at the former villains that are currently being ridiculed by their significant other, whose faces are nothing but pure adoration but also baffledness.
Max saw what Flint did and was about to snitch when the former sandman gave him a 'don't you dare look'. In which the electric charged fella retaliated with something of a 'not my fault you kept on losing, idiot' look before rolling his eyes and going back to playing.
Of course you saw that too but you decided to say nothing, "See! Flint agrees!! Doc Goblin.." you say in wonder.
"It certainly has a nice ring to it." When Otto gave his comment, the blonde scientist gave a 'meh' look and turned to Flint, who was acting as cool and collected as he could with his pointer finger rubbing his chin in thought while his eyes were trained on the board. It only took Curtis a second before giving a low and dangerous, "You changed it didn't you?" "What are you talking about?" was Flint's "confused" reply.
Otto rolled his eyes at the two bickering, slowly arguing, men then looked at you, who's prideful grin did not falter. He glances at the blue-eyed scientist, who is now approaching you, soft expression ever present on his face, "I thought you redesigned it..?" Norman asks curiously as he reaches out to touch the rim of the goggles, you saw a little flash of grief in his eyes but it was gone not long after.
"It was detachable. I wanted to preserve its old design- it has a good rim!" You tell him as you gently pried his hand from your face and hold it, giving it a gentle squeeze since you did not miss the brief flash of sadness.
He hums and kisses the back of your hand, changing the course of the conversation. "Looks good on you, love. Don't even get me started on the coat!" He comments with a chuckle, and carefully twirled you around. The comment also made the owner of the coat chortle.
You giggle as you let him spin you, the coat fluttering a little as you did.
"But I'm afraid I'll have to take it before you successfully hurt yourself." The large scientist says as he approaches the both of you.
You look at him as you stop twirling, a small pout on your face, "Oh c'mon! I literally just wore it!" "And you nearly hurt yourself not a moment after." His tone and expression not leaving any space for arguments, but you matched his look with a stubborn huff. "Darling…." he warns, the claws of the actuators matching his energy as it chittered and clicked in warning.
Norman on the other hand was not saying anything of the matter, his silence piques your curiosity and you glance at him, you also need his support at the moment. You were expecting to see him having the same expression Otto was wearing but instead..you saw a small mischievous smirk tugging the corner of his lips.
Ohhhhh..
You both stared at each other for a moment, although your eyes were blocked by the dark lenses of the goggles a silent agreement was made.
"Don't make me say it again, dear.."
When Otto started to move closer to you, you immediately jumped on Norman's arms and he was quick to catch you before sprinting away from the other scientist.
This clearly surprised Otto as it took him a moment to catch up to you two.
You and Norman were giggling like teenagers as you ran ahead from your "persuer", carrying you to the backyard. The whirring of a Norman's glider distracted you from laughing at Otto, who was catching up quickly to the both of you with the help of his actuators. You were not able to register the next events but you heard Norman grunt in force as he leapt on his glider, not breaking a single sweat and flew away from the ground.
A small yelp escaped your lips as you held onto the older man tightly, seeing as you were floating a few feet away from the ground, Norman doing the same thing. You trust him with your life though so you did not worry too much about it. A laugh slips from your lips as the glider turns to face Otto, seeing his "not amused" face making you laugh more with Norman joining you.
"You two are going to be the death of me.." he lightly commented with a squint.
You playfully stuck out your tongue, "You love us though!" "I clearly do.." was his last reply before using his actuators to reach both of you. Norman, clearly not letting this game end quickly, flew much higher and farther from him, away from the reach of the mechanical limbs.
"Norman!!" Otto frustratedly yelled while you just laughed, enjoying the free ride. "Giving up already, honey?" Taunted Norman. "Who ever said I was?" former Doc Ock quickly replied and continued to chase you both.
"Gosh I love you both.." You uttered, this made them halt from their shenanigans for a moment, "Love you too, dear." "And I you, love."

Hi! Just wanted to say I love your blog I just found it not to long ago and your work is amazing! 💕 Also I wanted to know if I I could request an HC of Curt Connors, Otto Octavius, and Norman Osborn (separate if you don’t mind?) With an S/O who’s an artist and is trying so hard to teach them how to draw but it’s like not working at all? 😂💕 And again thank you so much!

summary: your boyfriend is astonished by your artistic abilities. although trying to teach him takes quite a bit of work.
a/n: thank you so much for the request! for the hcs i also added some stuff on general artist s/o things. this was a lot of fun to write, i hope you like it! <3
OTTO
Otto definitely has an appreciation for the arts! Although his passion lies in science, he can enjoy more artistic and expressive endeavors. The man is a romantic at heart and takes a thoughtful approach to the art he sees.
If you create art thought? You’ve blown him away. He’s absolutely captivated by your work, in both awe and utter confusion!
“The process is quite simple, actually. I decided to use more saturated tones in order to accentuate these lines, making a callback to the centerpiece. In the foreground, I made sure the hues were far more subtle.”
“I see!”
“You do?”
“...Not really. I have no idea what you just said. Regardless, it’s gorgeous. It makes me feel… hopeful,” he muttered, brows furrowed in concentration as he surveyed your work.
“I’m flattered by your support, Otto, really.” You sighed, “...But you’ve been staring at it for 10 minutes. It’s not finished, sweetie.”
Sometimes you’ll affectionately call him your “Vitruvian Man,” especially when he dons his extra arms.
Otto was pretty confused when you tried to teach him how to draw. He’s flustered at all the details a viewer doesn’t tend to take into account when looking at art. All in all, he’s unprepared, but his curiosity beats it by far.
“Where does the light hit the sphere, Otto?”
“From the lamp,” he replied simply, gesturing towards the light hanging from your ceiling.
You released a sigh. This would be a long night.
A few days into your lessons, he surprises you!
“Otto, this is wonderful! But what is it?”
“...It was supposed to be you.”
“OH-”
It takes a bit, but Otto is a fast learner, and eventually gets the hang of it! Within weeks you’ve established the basics with him and now he understands your process so much more.
After drawing with him, at work he finds himself absentmindedly doodling in his notes. It seems you brought out his creative side.
If this occurs before his accident, expect to be helping him with sketches for his prototype. When he first sees it he’s overjoyed to finally see his vision come to life.
You draw Otto. A lot. When you first show him a drawing you made of him, he’s both flattered and shocked! Before meeting you, the man hadn’t expected someone to draw him. Seeing it in person is almost surreal.
If he ever feels insecure about his appearance, you make sure to tell him how handsome he is in vivid detail.
“Your soft features make you all the more attractive to me. Every crease I see displays a sign of strength and survival, tying you together. Your-”
Otto is blushing furiously. It seems you broke him. He nearly shattered when you continued gushing over him while stroking his cheek.
When you’re creating something large, like a mural perhaps, he’s happy to pick you up with his tentacles if you need assistance.
NORMAN
Although Norman can appreciate the work that goes into art, sometimes he struggles to find meaning in it. But that changes once he meets you.
Norman has a particular interest in more historical items, evident by his mask collection in his manor. He adores hearing you talk about art history, allowing you to explain the context of various pieces. Sometimes though, he just asks so he can listen to your voice.
He is incredibly supportive of your vocation. Do you need some supplies? Done. Are you having an art show? He tries his best to attend every single one. If you accept commissions, he definitely mentions you to his connections, eager to spread your name.
“Darn, I need more cadmium red,” you sighed, gazing upon your empty tube of paint.
Norman merely slides his credit card towards you.
“Go nuts,” he winks.
Norman found himself caught off guard at the idea of him trying art. Him? An artist?
You’re one of the few people he shows his gentle side to. His soft demeanor and tenderness had proved to you that he held a great capacity for more emotional artwork.
Norman clearly had a lot on his plate; especially once the goblin came into play, and you’ve been working together to help him find ways to relax. That’s how you came to organize little art therapy sessions for the two of you a couple of times a week.
He’s incredibly frustrated at first.
“I don’t get what I’m doing wrong,” he grumbled, “Why does it look like this?”
“Well Norman, why shouldn’t it look that way?”
“It’s a mess! A literal pile of brush strokes and scribbles.”
“It’s abstract. Did you enjoy painting it?”
“...Yes.”
“Then scribble away.”
He was hesitant at first, but he grew to enjoy painting. They’re not always the most detailed or elegant, but it’s a tactile way for him to express his feelings. Norman also feels a lot closer to you during the activity.
But then you tried to teach him drawing.
So many precious pencils had broken in the crossfire. But with patience, he learned to enjoy drawing as well. Much like his paintings, they’re amalgamations of lines, abstract in every way. Norman’s feelings are incredibly complex, especially when dealing with his alter ego, so words can’t always convey his frustrations.
Once he got the hang of it, he drew a lovely picture of Harry as a baby.
“I don’t think this is so bad, actually,” he paused, “Harry was just a weird-looking baby.”
CURT
Curt is incredibly captivated by your work. Even before you date, several of your pieces occupy his home. He feels like your artwork is just another wonderful part of you.
“What do you like about it?” You smiled.
“I like that you made it.”
As a scientist, objective data and facts are more up his speed. When it comes to art, the man can be a bit confused. But he’s got the spirit.
“Wow, this is great!” Curt said, trying to spark conversation while you tour an art museum. In order to impress you, he had done a bit of research into several of the pieces, eager to show he knows a thing or two. But he hadn’t looked into every piece, nor were you naive.
“Curt. Even I don’t know what the hell this is.”
“Well it’s obviously a… a…” he stuttered before sighing dejectedly, “Christ, I don’t know. A butt?”
Curt had become proficient with his left arm and hand, additionally developing particularly neat handwriting. Although he never considered using it to draw.
When you’d explain to process to him, he’d listen intently, impressed by your understanding of the craft itself.
Sometimes to help him find a good angle, you’d gently cup his hand in yours to guide him. Eventually, some of the mistakes he’d make would be on purpose.
Inspired by his profession in herpetology, he would draw lizards! But only lizards.
“This lizard looks amazing Curt! Next time I’ll show you how to draw people-”
“No. I want to draw more lizards.”
You made him a drawing of his lizard form that he keeps in his office. To him, it’s like your way of saying you accept him, no matter what.

NORMAN
I can neither confirm nor deny whether or not Norman Osborn invented romance. But I can’t deny that it’s a strong possibility. On Valentine’s day, he refuses to half-ass it, determined to treat his s/o like royalty!
Chances are he’s been planning this for months now. When his s/o mentions something they really like he’d think “Ooh I gotta remember this. FOR VALENTINE’S DAY!” and it’s in the middle of October.
Has enough money to get his s/o whatever they want and takes full advantage of it. He’ll give them extremely expensive presents like it’s nothing.
Norman woke up at 7:00 a.m. to make his s/o breakfast in bed. Only to wake up alone. He heads down to the kitchen to find out that they woke up at 6:00 a.m. with the same plan, deep in concentration on the pancakes they’re making.
He’s really flattered and feels so lucky to have a caring s/o!
But he’s gonna need to invade the kitchen. He wants to help and he’s not taking no for an answer.
“Norman, what the hell are you doing?”
“I’m making us omelets.”
“Along with the pancakes I’ve made? This is too much! Just sit down and wait!”
“NO!”
In retaliation, his s/o defiantly flings a bit of pancake batter at him, thus turning the tides of war. The kitchen is in shambles but they’re having fun at least. <3
This predicament results in them eating while simultaneously play-fighting like a bunch of kids, leading Norman to ambush his s/o in a merciless tickle attack. Both of them being very disappointed when it was time for him to go to work. :(
If his s/o goes to work as well, he’ll periodically send them bouquets, chocolates, and love notes every few hours. By lunchtime, their co-workers are practically seething. If not he’ll be sending a ton of gifts to their home, just to remind them they’re on his mind.
His s/o taking him out to lunch for a picnic at Central Park and he’s so fucking giddy.
“I know it’s not as extravagant as your gifts,” they glanced down nervously, “But I just wanted some alone time with you.”
For a moment he’s speechless. He wasn’t used to such sweet gestures. But this reminded him that ever since he’s started dating his s/o, little actions of love have been a constant.
Him teasing his s/o for a bit after seeing how nervous they are. “But do you like it?!” they yelled. “Honestly?” he drags, pausing for a moment in thought playfully.
“NORMAN-”
“I’m kidding sweetheart,” he laughs, raising his hands in defense. “It’s perfect. I absolutely love it dear.”
Them laying in the grass and cuddling. Looking at the sky together like a bunch of dorks. Him kissing their forehead. I’m gonna cry I’ll be right back-
Lunch was his s/o’s time to shine, but now that it was getting late, it’s Norman's turn.
Norman got reservations at one of the most high-end restaurants in the city. He originally planned to reserve a private room for the two of them, but he also wanted a chance to show off his s/o.
They’re insanely flirty at dinner. This is a public establishment. Oh my god.
Norman and his s/o sitting next to each other in a curved booth practically cuddling the entire time. Them rubbing each other's knees and tangling their legs underneath the table like crazy. Probably giving the other little kisses every couple of seconds.
His s/o feeding him and he is grumpy about it. But since it makes them smile he’s willing to oblige.
Them not even noticing the waiter at certain points because they’re too busy chatting.
“You look incredible tonight dear,” Norman smiled, throwing an arm around his s/o’s shoulder.
“Thank you. But it’s nothing compared to the handsome man I’m sitting next to,” they said, leaning into his embrace.
“Hello! My name is Thomas and I’ll be your waiter for the evening, would you like-”
“Oh really? He must be a lucky man,” Norman replied, too distracted to notice poor Thomas holding the menus. Unfortunately, his s/o was occupied as well.
“He is,” they grinned before jumping a bit, “Oh shit. Norman, there’s a waiter here.”
Norman literally gave the waiter the coldest shoulder the entire night, very annoyed at the fact he’d keep interrupting his and his s/o’s lovey-dovey time.
MAX
Humanity thought it was impossible to reach the limit of human sweetness. And then Maxwell Dillon started dating someone.
Him waking his s/o up with little kisses, sending a ticklish spark to their skin each time, making them wake up in a fit of giggles.
Max and his s/o taking the day off just to be with each other, so they get to stay in bed and cuddle for as long as they’d like!
Them being so adorably dorky together. It took them a while to get to breakfast since they nearly spent the entire morning dancing around the house in pajamas.
Max spinning them around and holding them tightly with so much freaking love.
They just slow danced for a bit in silence. They’re just really happy to be together. <3
“What are you looking at, Dillon?” His s/o smirked, lightly dancing across the floor with him.
“Just taking in how amazing you are. Don’t mind me,” he chuckled, pressing a kiss to their forehead.
The Valentine’s Day he and his s/o have is wonderfully unique, Max catering their gifts and activities to the things they love. Favorite food? Check. Favorite activities? Hell yeah. Inside jokes and compliments? TO THE MAX.
No offense to the other villains, but Max’s Valentine’s Day is so much fun. They go roller skating and hold onto each other in a fit of laughter.
“MAX I’M ROLLING AWAY-” They bellowed, desperate to hold onto something for balance.
“I’m on my way baby!” Max yells back, before proceeding to accidentally knock over his s/o at full speed.
“Ow. Are you okay?” he frowned.
“More than, okay. Let’s do that again!”
“OKAY!”
The two of them roam around the city, hand in hand, walking into every store they find and buying each other tons of gifts they see the other eyeing.
Them going to an Amusement Park and him trying to impress them and win every prize imaginable. By the end of the day, his s/o nearly collapses holding all of the plushies he got them.
“Damn!” Max groaned, after missing another target.
“Max, babe, it’s okay. I don’t need the teddy bear. Why don’t you let me give it a try?”
His s/o demolished the game in mere seconds, leaving Max in shock.
“You could do that this whole time?” He asked incredulously, a little annoyed at the sudden revelation.
“I guess. I just didn’t want to ruin it for you,” they grinned sheepishly.
Before they head home to have a little private dinner, the two of them have a lovely time cuddling in the Ferris Wheel.
Him taking the opportunity to disregard holding back on PDA. Max showering his s/o in little kisses the entire time.
If his s/o is afraid of heights, he might tease them for a bit. But once he realizes they’re serious he’s holding them so tightly, giving them gentle affirmations the whole time.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. I’m right here,” he smiles into their hair, nuzzling their head while rubbing their shoulders.
But even amongst all the affection he’s giving his s/o, they’re throwing it back tenfold. Every time they do so he gets bashful and nearly melts at the attention. Both of them make sure the other doesn’t feel neglected on Valentine’s day.
CURT
Curt was quite proud of himself since he managed to remember the holiday, getting to plan in advance a couple of days beforehand. He was literally so absorbed in work that holidays didn’t seem like a tangible thing to him. He’s just glad he didn’t forget!
At first, he’s a bit reluctant to sleep in. He knew that if he did, it would be all the more difficult to let go. But for the sake of Valentine’s Day, he cuddled with his s/o a little while longer.
“Y/N, I’ve got to get up,” he replied sadly, glancing down at their comfortable figure.
His s/o just giving him perhaps the biggest puppy-dog eyes he’s ever seen.
“...They probably won’t notice if I’m 20 minutes late,” Curt sighs, before snuggling into his s/o’s embrace.
While he and his s/o are apart for the day because of work, they’re texting 24/7 and it’s annoying everyone.
This grown man at a meeting isn’t paying attention because he’s inwardly gushing at a cute picture his s/o sent of themselves.
Some employees are a tad concerned at the fact that he’s spending various moments simply grinning at his phone like an idiot.
All his s/o did was send him a sweet text and now he misses them immensely.
Literally leaves work as early as possible to go pick up his s/o. Curt is almost dismissive in the way he impatiently leaves Oscorp.
“Bye Dr. Connors, can you get those forms to me by-”
“Okay!” He says quickly, speeding past his co-worker towards the exit.
He and his s/o proceed to cling onto each other like magnets for the rest of the day. After work they take a nice, long walk together around their neighborhood, talking about each other's days and gushing over one another.
They make dinner together and it’s so fucking cute y’all.
If his s/o is shorter than him, he’ll be happy to reach for all the ingredients they can’t get.
They work together quite nicely, making a lovely meal in the process.
Although they did get distracted once. Or twice.
Probably because Curt decided to make out with his s/o against the counter for like 20 minutes.“Curt, we have to put the food in the oven,” they whined, tugging at his hair.
“What food?” he queried in the midst of kissing their neck, eventually caving into his s/o’s pleading to put the food in the damn oven already.
While eating dinner they’re just looking at each other like a bunch of dorks the whole time. This includes his s/o flustering him with several flirtatious comments while the poor man is just trying to eat!
“Why are you staring at me like that?” Curt smiled.
“Because you’re handsome,” they replied simply.
Nearly drops his fork several times at his s/o’s affections.
They might be the death of him.Him surprising his s/o at the end of the night with something they love (whether it be jewelry, a watch, a book, or anything they mentioned really wanting in the past.) He relishes how happy they are once he gives it to them.
His gift for his s/o was wonderful. But could it truly compare to the gift his s/o got him? The gift of life. A tiny baby leopard gecko. It’s so small y’all. He’s gushing over the tiny thing. He and his s/o have a lizard child now.
OTTO
The cuddles are infinite. He and his s/o cuddling in the morning like koalas, basking in each other's touch like it’s a drug. Otto is so upset once they need to let go though.
“Otto, babe. You gotta head to work,” they sighed into his chest.
The man looked so pained at that statement.
In his s/o’s presence, he lacked the proper willpower to keep away from them. But alas, duty calls.
Him smothering his s/o in kisses. Forehead. Cheeks. Hands. Kissing up his s/o’s arm like Gomez Adams.
S/O walking w him to the lab and the other scientists being mortified, because their boss just turned his s/o’s goodbye peck into an uncomfortably passionate kiss.
Otto only realizes what he’s done once he lets go for air.
“Oh,” he gapes, noticing the eyes of his co-workers on him and his s/o, “Perhaps I got a bit carried away.”
After his s/o leaves, he’s actually not too embarrassed. In fact, he feels a bit of pride in being able to adore his s/o in public. If their love is too much for others to handle, he couldn’t care less.
You know those couples who say I love you and reply back and forth with an I love you more? Yeah, that’s them.
I know Norman had a picnic headcanon in his part. But picnics are too precious to confine to one character. Otto and his s/o take over a little hidden part of Central Park near the lake and have a picnic while cuddling like a couple of madmen.
Otto taking his s/o to a romantic movie and them being adorable.
He and his s/o smiled whenever their hands touched while reaching for the popcorn.
If he gets bored during the movie, he’s suddenly peppering his s/o with kisses, delighted at hearing them giggle.
“Otto, stop!” they grinned.
“Yes, Otto. Please stop,” another moviegoer groaned.
This caused Otto to increase his affections tenfold. The theatre belongs to him and his s/o now.
If he and his s/o are dating around the time he has his actuators, they’ll be so gentle with his s/o. Which was good, considering how they’d hug and lift his s/o every chance they got.
His s/o giving each of the actuators little kisses and Otto exploding. Yes.
At the end of the day, they’re lounging around together at home, basking in each other's presence. They’re just happy to resume the cuddles they had stolen from them in the morning. Otto is satisfied now that he gets to worship his s/o the way they deserve.

summary: norman never saw himself attending a ballet recital of all places. but he had no idea just how much it would change him for the better.
a/n: i’m sorry this took a while to write, i really wanted to get some additional research on ballet before writing this! thank you so much for this wonderful rq @nerdydcfan, i really enjoyed writing it! I hope you like this <3
Being the CEO of Oscorp came with a neverending plethora of responsibilities. Norman had to inquire upon business; try not to go bankrupt; lead various teams of scientists; conduct his own research, and right now he had to appease his shareholders. Although schmoozing his colleagues wasn’t particularly enjoyable; it was a light burden to bear for the sake of his company. Norman proceeded to mentally remind himself of that, straightening out his exhausted, unenthused demeanor into a more socially acceptable one. He adjusted his navy tie and forced a somewhat friendly smile in the reflection of the car’s rearview mirror, hoping his crotchety mood wouldn’t be too noticeable. With a sigh, he paid the taxi driver, ever determined to get this over with. Before he could even exit the vehicle, he was trapped.
“Norman!” The new man's calloused fingers incessantly tapped at the window, Norman straining a smile in reply. He promptly stepped out onto the curb and exchanged the necessary pleasantries with his target tonight; a large investor in Oscorp who had a few doubts that needed to be dealt with. Norman’s plan was set in stone when he learned of his acquaintance's avid love for ballet.
“I didn’t take you for an enthusiast of the arts, especially dance,” his colleague chuckled.
“Honestly? I wouldn’t call myself a huge fan or anything. But,” he paused in thought, “I can appreciate the art form regardless,” Norman half-lied. His ability to appreciate dance was nearly nonexistent in the back of his mind. The closest he had been to attend a recital of sorts had been Harry’s elementary school play, which of course had been adorable, but a raging conflict between personified mice in the city and country hadn’t necessarily resonated with him on an emotional level. At the thought of any form of art, whether it be music, dancing, or the visual arts, Norman’s mind would wander to his peculiar mask collection. The term, “art is subjective,” would occupy his thoughts, aware that most people would assume his interest in the masks was in their historical and monetary value. But the masks he’d collect would carry exaggerated expressions and stories to tell, but beneath it all, there was merely the cold wooden wall they hung on.
Much like the masks he amassed, Norman expertly disguised his grouchy mood, smiling politely towards his colleague as they approached their seats in the crowded theatre. People would kill for the seats Norman had gotten, placed in the center but not too low, providing an almost perfect view of the stage. Tonight in the midst of his weariness, Norman was determined to prove that Oscorp only provided and indulged in the very best. Other attendees in the crowd excitedly chattered amongst themselves, this particular ballet recital being regarded as a must-see show in the New York City metropolitan area. He couldn’t help but ponder as to why people were so passionate about endeavors such as this. Maybe they were just better at hiding their judgment than him.
The enthusiastic babbling in the audience briskly mellowed into hushed voices, people settling as the lights began to dim. Norman relaxed in his seat, although he remained at least a bit vigilant in his posture. Once he had gone to a broadway show with a fellow scientist that ended with Norman being nudged awake by his colleague. He was lucky that was only a casual affair, the stakes of tonight being much higher. Minutes passed in silence until the orchestra in front of the stage began to play a solemn tune. In the dark of the stage, soft lights illuminated the ballet dancer's figures, appearing almost ghost-like. As the recital proceeded to begin, Norman quickly noticed that the inconspicuous dancers before him were more like props. It was as if they were elegant doves that embellished a hidden, central swan that would alight not just a dance, but a story. And that you did.
His cerulean eyes landed upon your form, statuesque and still in pose, seemingly ascending from the flurry of other dancers. Eventually, they disappeared backstage, like little ghosts wisping away. There it left you, no mere spirit, but a phantom. A dramatic crescendo had begun, the orchestra's cellos striking the audience's surroundings with full force. Your dance started dramatically, your dancing figure seeming almost angry in its elegance. Suddenly, with a single leap, the atmosphere and music had descended into a far quieter tone. It was as if the violins had begun to weep, your dancing evolving into what one could describe as grieving. Your dark outfit subtly glistened in the midst of your show of skill, completing feats of flexibility that others could only dream of. You may have been the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
The effect of frozen time had lifted once other attendees began to clap, dancers flooding the stage in prompt bows. Norman’s clap was a bit weak - as if quieting the clamor would make you dance again.
After a successful dinner with his guest that had ended with ensured support for Oscorp, he surprisingly didn’t want to nod off in the backseat of his cab. Instead, he fished into his coat for the program that had been passed out at the show. Flipping through the booklet, his index finger landed at his destination. Y/N L/N was the name of the dancer who had stolen the show, and Norman’s attention for the entirety of the night. When you danced, for once Norman didn’t feel like an outsider. The broken pieces of pain he had compressed for years had finally seemed salvageable. That fact was proven when he saw you turn it into something extraordinary, beautifully violent in its wake. He was transfixed upon your photo, thinking just how gorgeous you seemed to be up close.
“Why are we making a turn here? We’ll need to cross the Harlem river to get to Queens,” Harry asked, seemingly a bit irritated at the thought of being late for dinner at Peter’s house.
“Well, why do you think I’m in the car? I’ve got places to be too,” Norman deadpanned.
“You’ve been going out a lot lately. Another ballet recital?” Harry grinned.
Norman's eyes widened as they shot towards his son. It seemed that Harry was a bit more inquisitive than he took him for. But even a complete stranger could point out the strange, new pattern in Norman Osborn's routine. For a month and a half now, the man would find himself relaxing by attending every one of your shows. Although it was a tad embarrassing for him to refer to himself as a fan, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t enamored by you. His harrowing deadlines and conflict with Harry would diminish as soon as he’d see you on stage. Somehow in a crowd of at least 1,000 or so guests in attendance; it felt as if you were the only two in the darkened room.
“Believe it or not Harry, I have hobbies.”
“Not saying you can’t or anything! I think it’s nice,” Harry replied genuinely. “But I’ve never seen you like this. You’ve been… happier. Hell, it’s like you have a crush or something,” he laughed.
The older man's face flushed at being reminded of you. One could argue that he had a little crush. Maybe it was evident in the way he’d anonymously send a bouquet of flowers and gifts to you after every show. Or maybe it was obvious in the fact that he’d only go to recitals where you were present. He silently slapped himself for yearning for someone he hadn’t even met in person.
“Oh my god. You do have a crush! Are they a dancer?” Harry gasped, eyes looking towards Norman with enthusiasm.
Before Norman could attempt to deny his son’s entirely true accusations, their car had arrived at the theatre.
“Keep your mouth shut,” he left the car promptly, stern eyes not leaving his sons, “Have fun at Peter’s.”
Harry kept his father's stare, grinning widely as he held his hands together in the shape of a heart, nodding like a madman. The scientist's eyes nearly rolled into the back of his skull at the sight. Composing himself, he crossed the street and quickly purchased a bouquet of flowers to have sent to your dressing room. Warm ruby-colored camellias stood out like a sore thumb as they lay comfortably in the crook of his elbow. He strode into the packed lobby with a busy pace, politely greeting employees who had grown to know him by name.
“Ah, Mr.Osborn, it’s good to see you again. I presume those are for Y/N?” A booming voice called out. It belonged to your agent, who quickly noticed Norman’s affinity for your work, considering he was a fellow recurring face at your shows.
“Hi. Yes, they are,” Norman smiled gratefully, preparing to give them over to your agent until a hand suddenly blocked his path.
“Unfortunately, Y/N won’t be able to perform tonight. Just about an hour ago they twisted their ankle at rehearsal,” your agent sighed.
Norman’s polite grin fell into a frown. You were injured? For a moment the man felt guilty for holding you upon such a high pedestal. It was easy to assume you were impenetrable with the way you’d dance on stage, but much like everyone else, you were only human.
“I hate to interrupt this Norman, but I’ve got a couple of dancers who need my assistance. Why don’t you take those to Y/N, they’re still in their dressing room. It’s right up there, down the hall,” his arm stretched out towards an empty, carpeted staircase.
“Oh, alright,” he replied a bit uncertainly, watching dumbfoundedly as the agent bustled away.
The closer he got towards your room, the less crowded the place had seemed. Eventually, he found himself at the end of an empty hall, facing a final doorway. The letters of your name occupied the label on front, standing out as a reminder that he was only one knock away from talking to the person who had occupied his thoughts for weeks now. With a shuddery breath, he gave the door a brisk few knocks. At the sound of a muffled “come in,” he tightly clasped the doorknob and pulled.
Your dressing room felt far more comfortable than the pretentiously decorated theatre. There you sat on a velvet maroon couch, lying across it with your leg unceremoniously in the air, your bandaged ankle hanging off of the arm. Instead of your usual glittery outfit during recitals, you were relaxed, donned in a baggy hoodie with the name of your dance company on it. The same logo could be found on other trinkets across the room, a water bottle, a t-shirt, and a poster. Aside from those things, your room had quite the personal touch. Gazing around the room, Norman noticed a stack of various bouquets of flowers and cards, along with little photos of you and your peers.
“Are those for me?”
“Oh! Yes, here. Sorry,” Norman said softly, snapping out of his thoughts to carefully place the bouquet onto your dressing table.
“I’m Norman. I came to see your show but your agent told me you had gotten injured.”
“Yeah,” you frowned, “I’m really sorry. Don’t worry, the show is still happening! A good friend of mine will take my place for the evening.”
“Although that sounds nice, I much prefer your shows,” Norman quickly replied, before feeling a brush creep up his neck. As he sat on a chair facing your direction, he caught your small smile.
“Thank you. I’m flattered, it’s crazy to think that people come to these shows just to see me,” you chuckled. Norman's eyes glanced towards your giant pile of bouquets again. It seems he wasn’t your only admirer.
“I just wish I didn’t have to let so many people down today,” you sighed, looking down dejectedly.
Norman looked upon your figure with sad eyes. Even when you weren’t dancing you looked amazing. And despite only having a very recent first impression of you to go off of, you seemed just as wonderful in personality. It was heartbreaking seeing someone as talented as you be so hard on yourself.
“As disheartening as it is to have a dancer like you not perform, I think everyone can agree that your health is far more important. I mean,” he sighed, “When you dance, it’s like magic. I’ve never seen anything like it. I always feel less alone when I attend your shows. So if that incredible work relies on your strength, I think taking a break is definitely worth your time.” The eldest Osborn felt foolish for being so open with you, but the words had rolled off of his tongue so easily. He nervously glanced towards you, afraid that he made you uncomfortable with his honesty, only to be relieved by your beaming smile.
“You don’t know how happy it makes me feel to hear that,” you said, “But I have a question,” you paused with a click of your tongue, “...Are you the one who's been sending me all those anonymous gifts lately?”
For another time that day, Norman found himself flustered at the thought of you. He scratched the back of his neck nervously, making a small smile.
“It seems you’ve caught me,” he chuckled.
“Thank you for your support, Norman. Gifts like those always make my day a little brighter,” you released a breathy laugh, “Hell, those amazing chocolates you sent were actually the most food I’ve had today,” you sighed.
The older man’s brows furrowed in confusion, “Are you not taking care of yourself?”
“Well - I’m just so busy. When I’m not practicing, which takes seven hours, I’ve got several classes to teach around the city. If I don’t have to deal with that, it’s meetings with my agent. If the theatre’s short-staffed, I like to help around as much as I can,” you replied sulkily.
“Gosh, I must be wasting your time. The shows about to start in 15 minutes, you should probably get going. Thank you so much again for the-” you began to ramble, averting your gaze from him in a state of nerves. In a strange way, you reminded Norman of himself. Exhausted and overworked to the bone, barely clinging to life's necessities. If you could bring a bit of comfort in his times of need, perhaps he could return the favor.
“Wait,” he interrupted, “I assume you haven’t had dinner yet?” Norman asked, before adding, “Do you have any plans tonight?”
“No, I haven’t had dinner yet,” you answered, “No plans tonight either, why?”
“Let me buy you dinner,” he insisted, eyes wrought with concern.
“Oh I couldn’t, really. I’d hate to impose,” you said.
“If I can’t see you on stage then I’m perfectly fine with seeing you at a dinner table. As long as you’re comfortable, of course,” he added in a moment of boldness. You were blissfully unaware of the panic swirling in his mind when you took a moment to think. After glancing around bashfully, a smile occupied your features as you slowly rose up, grabbing your coat and belongings before turning towards the man.
“I guess I’m comfortable,” you admitted, “Walk me there?” You asked, steadying yourself onto a chair to appease your injured leg.
He hooked his arm around yours in response, melting a little at your touch. Norman gently supported you, ever the gentleman as he pulled the door open. It seemed that it wasn’t just your dancing that bought him joy, but your adoring presence itself. Despite meeting only a good 20 minutes ago, you made him feel at ease. Your small talk quickly evolved into a riveting conversation that left the man longing for you, bringing the both of you far closer than you’d expect. Maybe Harry wasn’t so wrong about his love life after all.
I hope you don't mind writing something about Curt again, because I've got an idea. Headcannons for lizard man! How do you think he acts with an overly affectionate s/o (they respect the fact that he's busy sometimes so they only do it when they can) doesn't care if he's a lizard man, They'll kiss him, pet him, whatever the heck he's comfortable as long as they can touch him (affectionately) S/o is and will (going to) run their hands all over his scales, (this includes his tail) also I fully believe his tail wags like a puppy, no I do not take criticism. :)
-love your writing!!

summary: it didn’t matter whether he was a lizard or human. you were going to shower him in love like a moth to a flame.
a/n: thank you for the lovely request anon! i hope these suffice <3 also requests are closing in a couple of days are so, so send in any while you can! also big thank u to the op of this gif i love u
before curt had become a lizard; he had grown used to his s/o’s affections!
although it was a bit daunting at first, he grew to appreciate how loving you could be. whenever he could he’d return the favor, but a part of him really enjoyed being doted on (especially after a stressful day.)
like after coming home sometimes he’ll just crash into bed with you
when he became a lizard tho? he was fully prepared for you to become distant and break up with him. to curt that was inevitable, and he was afraid no one could love him in that state.
then boom. s/o proves him wrong!
like he’ll just walk in as a lizard expecting you to start screaming but then you lunge at him with what may be the tightest hug he’s ever received.
if lizards could blush he’d be red 😳
somehow now that he’s a lizard, his s/o’s affections have increased ten-fold
and curt would be lying if he said he didn’t revel in it either
imagine a large lizard man’s heart fluttering at being pecked on the cheek. that’s curt.
lots of him carrying you around, piggy back rides, bridal style, you name it he’s got u
as i’ve mentioned in previous hcs, this man purrs! straight up will start vibrating while you pet him.
when he’s the lizard he really tries to seem all intimidating, but the only one that doesn’t work with is his s/o
“Stop petting me like that. I’m not a dog.”
“Then why is your tail wagging?”
when you two haven’t seen each other in a while he really misses your affections :(
he always sleeps well in his lizard form if he’s cuddling you
speaking of sleep, sometimes his s/o will pet him to sleep and to him it’s literally heaven
before he can protest he can’t stop himself from nuzzling into your hand
he will also let you use him as a bed. like you can just lie down on him and he’ll refuse to move after that. all he does is hold you like a teddy bear <3
isn’t as affectionate with you as the lizard, bc he’s afraid of hurting you
but eventually he’ll grow comfortable with showing you love in that form, always trying to be as gentle as possible.
