As I mentioned in one of my posts, Eclipse retracts his rays when he sleeps, so when he does wake, his rays have a slow time returning. As seen in the image, most are out but folded/bent so Eclipse isnt really at full energy yet :D

Meet Emi and Orbit, SingingSolstice's fanchildren!
Miku loved the idea of having children but did not want to bear such, making her as asexual as Eclipse was. Eclipse, seeing Miku's longing, sighed and made designs for their kids—two daughters to even out the three sons (Andrew, Andy and Jake) and one "daughter" (Charlie).
Emi was the first one he made; she has similar hair to Miku (and its always kept in pigtails) and she mischievously dyed parts of her hair gold just to match Miku's accesory. Mainly, though, she gained Eclipse's features; his four eyes and color, sharp ears to represent rays, and her skin is the color of the other half of Eclipse's face. Shes a bright kid but very much overly hyper (Eclipse's fault; he intended to mimic Ruin's idea on making his battery last longer when Ruin rebuilt Eclipse, but Eclipse didn't realize he made a mistake until Emi awoke and ran all over the place.), and she noticeably picked up both of her parents traits—mechanics and performance; Emi loves to create little, non-dangerous fireworks when she performs, and she has a knack for adding voice modifications to her own voicebox even when Eclipse forbid her on doing so. She certainly has her mother's charm.
Orbit was accidental but loved all the same. She was Cosmos's very first own body (the little model they had in the mindscape and later physically with Monty's help) that was left around some area; Eclipse found it and initially intended to scrap it, however, it came to life when he opened it despite the late of a conscious AI in there. Eclipse suspects it may have been some left over code Cosmos or Monty accidentally left, or it maybe was the nanomachine the body was created on that emitted that. Nonetheless, Eclipse took the old model on for fixing and made it to be his own child after a few modifications; he didnt take away the shapeshifting bit and intends to teach Orbit how to control it. Charlie also, whom, wants to help train her! Eclipse is kinda skeptical considering Charlie does not have a full grasp on her powers either, but hes given her the benefit of the doubt. Shes a sleepy little critter, but wide awake, shes just as hyper as her older sister.
