How to Train Your Dragon is like the Lord of the Rings of animation. Every single movie takes a beautiful world and builds it further every time, characters grow and feel real and complex. The cinematography in these movies is PHENOMENAL. Those flying scenes will give you goosebumps every single time. John Powell’s score knocks my socks off. Holy crap. And the animation. THE ANIMATION. It looks REAL. Every. Single. Movie. Is GREAT. And it is a dang shame that they keep getting beat out at the awards by whatever the latest Disney movie is. I just love these movies so much, and I am so happy that we have a well-rounded, well-defined, and completely satisfying trilogy of movies. The end.
