I'm so excited. 

How is it possible for a group to be singing together for almost a full year and yet show no progress? How is it possible to have been working on a piece for almost 4 months and still have large numbers of people missing notes? And German is not hard, but if people have difficulties with it, they need to take the initiative to improve, which means if I tell you you are wrong more than three times in one rehearsal you should probably write it in your music. It's so frustrating to be in an ensemble that people simply don't care about. Large numbers of people don't want to improve as a group and so everyone suffers. The worst part is the director does nothing to address any of the obvious issues. Everyday is like pulling teeth with these people, and we ARE STILL GOING OVER NOTES AND RHYTHMS. I know high schoolers who would be far ahead of us. It's embarrassing to be in this ensemble. And I know a lot of these singers are young, but they are making no improvement at this rate.

I can't do this. It may be my dream but omg. I am not good enough to go out and be a musician. I can't go on stage on front of people.

The thing is, this isn't the hard part of the aria #sopranoprobs #singerprobs
