I'm pretty sure they replaced the actor who plays Capheus because the old actor was saying transphobic things on set
That was a rumor in the fandom but there was no actual factual basis to that and jamie clayton confirmed it wasnāt true. People assumed bc Jamie clayton was weirdly excited and talking aboutĀ āsense8 is loveā but when asked if he had been homophobic/transphobic she said āi never said thatā. Aml Ameen had some sort of conflict with Lana Wachowski, but we donāt know why. He could have been transphobic. But Lana is also a creator with a long history of racism and antiblackness so I donāt think we should just jump to the former conclusion...
