" grey irises lift from the drink he'd been absently swirling, to the emerald expectancy of the woman whom he loved, thin brittle smile strained in the light of the recent events that had led to his disgrace from Heaven. but he doesn't speak of it. no, he bares it in silence. grace glimmering with the joy she alone could bring him,  this beatific hope which kept him from crumbling.

I just feel this urge to compliment you literally fucking always because you’re an impressive little shit, and sweet. You deserve all the love in the goddamn world because you’re like the greatest. <3

❤- @sincethexbeginning Eru (Mars?? What do you primarily go by?) well whatever you go by, you’re fantastic and I don’t know of a time where writing with you didn’t give me inspiration of some sort when I’m actually having the motivation to write. That fluctuates a lot. But the inspiration when I’m on a motivated flux never ends when in regards to you. I love writing with you. Not to mention you’re just the sweetest. I see you having bad days pretty frequently and I feel that. But I hope you start having more good days because you deserve them.

❤- @miczariel I know that we’ve not really talked all that much. Or maybe even ever. But your presence on my dash pleases me so much. Your character is SO GOOD. Like a+ good shit please never stop. Mic just like. I love. And you yourself seem like a really nice person. And I’m always a little scared to approach even knowing I don’t need to be. It’s a social anxiety thing. But I would absolutely love to befriend the shit out of you sometime.

Nick looked at her with a very distressed expression, he was barely able to pull himself together. He didn’t need to lose his composure in front of her anymore than he had already. And yet even now that the flashback had seemingly ended, the aftershocks hadn’t.

He was shaking, and the second he registered that she was telling him he was safe he found himself clinging to her a little. It was pretty clear he wasn’t thinking that this may make her uncomfortable for him to be doing. But he wasn’t really fully aware of much as he set his face against her shoulder. He just wanted to ground himself by feeling. The realness of the bad things had long since passed now, this was the present. Things were better.

Things were better and yet there he was crying on her. It felt like she’d just saved him even when she’d simply helped him through whatever terror his mind elected to throw at him, and he was overwhelmed.
