Happy Birthday, Mom! Religious Décor Mini Set Plus Readable Bible and Pineapple Lamp

So, I didn’t have much money to buy my mom something nice for her birthday this year, but she does play Sims. So I thought I’d put together a few items I knew she’d like to have in her game.

1. (By special request) The Holy Bible, New Revised Simlish Translation. Purchasable through any bookshelf, filed under the nonfiction section and readable in game.

2. Pineapple Lamp. Comes in several swatches for the paper umbrella, but they’re all pink. What can I say, it’s a gift for my mom, just be glad the pineapple isn’t pink too.

3. Jug of roses. Roses come in pink, red, or yellow. 

4. Religious Paintings. A selection of traditional religious paintings of the type my mom grew up with.

5. Big Iron Cross. In iron, copper, or pewter. 

All LOD’s etc and game tested. Any issues please let me know.

Dusty Memories Eclectic Storage Set

This cabinet was one of my favorite pieces from the Laundry Day Stuff Pack, but its functionality was sadly lacking. Look at all those little drawers... aren’t you just dying to put things in them? Or at least on the shelves?? Okay, fine, but surely you can at least use it as a tv stand? Sadly, no. The original piece could not even accommodate the smallest tv, and had a truly pathetic number of decor slots.

Cabinet: The cabinet itself I emptied and recolored in @peacemaker-ic ‘s beautiful wood tones, and added some old maps on the backing.I also added a ton of slots (227!!) so you can clutter it up to your heart’s content. There are sixteen wood grain options so matching shouldn’t be an issue. This is a mesh edit from Laundry Day so that pack is required.

Hamper: This is the original hamper included as part of this unit, now separated to its own item and made functional. Retextured in a selection of wood/wicker tones for a softer look. Sims CAN use it when it is slotted into the shelf, or you can put it anywhere else you’d like. Laundry Day required, for obvious reasons.

Trunk: Also part of the original mesh, now separated and made functional as a chest. Four distressed wood tones. Base Game Compatible.

Clothes Rod: Slots into the cabinet and functions as a dresser. A great way to save space in small builds. This one also can be placed anywhere you want, but if it goes somewhere other than the cabinet you may need MOO and/or ctrl+9 to position it. Base Game Compatible.

Suitcases (two sizes): Tweed/linen textured suitcases make for modular storage/end tables. They can be stacked on each other in whatever configuration you like, or simply used as décor. Base Game Compatible.
