Probably pretty silly... hopefully down to earth and friendly.... I'd like to think I seem like a safe nonjudgmental and helpful person? 🔪- scariest/creepiest experience? Dalton: *Thinks about if for a moment* The scariest experience was probably one night, where I was pretty pissed, and I was biking through the city, not in a very straight line *chuckles amused* and suddenly I noticed a police car following me..... let's just say, I made it home, with my heart in my throat, and I deserved a fucking medal for driving as pretty as I did the rest of the trip, pretending I was the most sober person on the planet! *chuckles cheekily* and what can we learn from that? - Never bring your bike to the pub! Cause alcohol will tell you you can drive, when you really can't!

First of all, thank you so much!!😊💖 I love this question, this could get long, and hopefully not too confusing!😂

So, up until River was around six months old, Dustin and Cass were on pretty good terms. Until dustin gets arrested, and spends four months in jail. At this time Cass starts a secret relationship with Sam. Dustin gets released, unaware of the affair but Cass being Cass starts taking out the guilt she has on Dustin. They start to argue a lot, but Dustin stays for River’s sake. He doesn’t want to be a shitty dad, as his father was to him. This goes on for years, occasionally they’d sleep together just to get out some of the built up rage, almost hoping it would fix the issues they had - it never did. Around the same time Dustin is wrongly imprisoned, Cass finds out she’s pregnant - and at first unsure if it’s Dustin’s or Sam’s. Although she always believed Dustin to be the father, a paternity test later on, at their original custody hearing proves that she is Dustin’s. (About a year prior to the false arrest, Dustin proposes to Cass to see if that would help strengthen the relationship, she says yes, but nothing changes.) 

Cass had put herself in a difficult position, she’d never wanted to be a mother, but knew that her father would tell her to terminate both pregnancies. She was a rebellious child, and going against her father’s wishes is what she did best. Dustin played a big part also, with River he was on the fence, he didn’t know how he’d feel once he had a child. The thought grew on him, but he left the choice up to Cass. However with Robin, he fought hard, though still knowing Cass could do whatever she wanted - he loved that baby and would fight for her as he would River. 

Once Dustin got out of jail, he found out about a couple of guys Cass had slept with while he was away. Thats when shit really hit the fan. He couldn’t bare to be with her anymore, Calls off their engagement. They go to court, Cass has her dad lead the case, it’s pretty brutal for Dustin, with his convictions, but end up with Cass winning physical custody of River and Robin, agreeing on an every other weekend visit plan for poor old Dusty.
