wow, your genetics mods look amazing! I have 2 questions: does your mod fix the issue where children have noses really high up/really small noses (so that there is too much space between their mouth and nose) after aging from toddler to children? it's so annoying when they look normal as infants and toddlers (and normal again later as teens and adults), but as children they all look the same with the weird mouth and nose thing. and would it be possible for you to make a version of better inheritance that still allows for blending skintones (because sometimes the most likely and most realistic skintone for a child would be somewhere between the parents skintones)? just... in a better way that fixes all the weirdness (like red or purple babies or vampire skintones or skintones that are too light or dark for either parent)?

1. Yes, it fixes quite many face issues on each age stage. Besides that, I also fixed space between eyes, their vertical location, size; limited eyebrows angle; set minimum size of lips and mouth location, shoulder width and so on.
2. I wish, but the problem is, that skin blending feature works only if I don't fix other skin bugs. It feels wrong to me to release a version where several bugs I know of are not fixed. If you really love skin blending, I recommend just not installing the better inheritance module. You still can use the main mod and genetics fix
Time for the generation genetics break down! This is my favorite part of having a fundie sims family.
Allie and Theo didn't have nearly as many kids as Molly, but their 6 children gave them quite a lot of diversity.
Eye color: 3 blue, 3 brown - an even split!
Hair color: 2 black, 3 brown, 1 light brown.
Nose: It's hard to say, but I think looking at this, all the boys got Theo's nose and all the girls got Allie's nose.
Jaw: Again, hard to say but I think Theo's jaw won with only Violet and Dahlia getting Allie's jaw.
Face shape: Theo's face shape won with again, only Violet and Dahlia getting Allie's rounder cheeks.
Overall, I think Bear looks the most like Theo and Dahlia looks the most like Violet! The rest are a mix. We'll just have to wait and see what Aaron and Vi's kids look like 🙂
An OOC just for fun post - I was on a photo-taking kick today, and was starting to feel like all my sims looked the same, so of course, it was time for a comparison photoset of all my teen and adult sims!

So I was pretty much right... almost everyone has Carson’s nose and skin tone; 7/14 blondes (all the kids/tods are brunettes tho), and 7/14 have Gracie’s mouth vs Carson’s. There are a few literal clones - Matt & Marcus, Tilly & Maya, Max & Michael. I have no idea where Meredith gets her looks from though - she’s the one totally unique face amongst the group!
All my twins have one blonde and one brunette too (MG & Meredith, and Michael & Mallory).
Sim genetics are so interesting.
And we’re not gonna talk about how I can’t tell any of the younger 3 boys apart, and I had to actually look up their names in my tracker to remember who they were and what order they were in.

Has anyone else had a problem with genetics?
I discovered a bit of an issue. Okay, so Cebu was born with Summer's skin color (on the right)...just like the other kiddos so far. So I decided to experiement!
I opened CAS and created 2 sims on opposite color spectrums, but all the offspring were of the same skintone. So I removed all my cc skins - fixed it! There were both ends of the spectrum and everything in between.
I then slowly started putting skins back in and testing - some skinblends (even before the november '18 patch) were causing the problem.
Genentics can be cruel.
