The Simple Cable Beanie is probably my most popular knitting pattern, and secretly I think that this yarn played a big part in that! I knit 3 of the sample hats in different shades of this yarn (Adriafil Zebrino) and it has a great mix of difference and wearability. It catches the eye in a good way! So when I most recently was ordering yarn, I threw one skein of this into my basket, and really enjoyed working up one more hat in it. Two new wool beanies just added to my shop 😀 I had bought this beautiful fade wool from @namolio at #woollinnyarnfest 2018, and wanted to see a fade to black, and a fade from black! One of the hats has a long brim, so it can be worn with the brim turned up, or as a slouchy beanie. Both hats are nice and stretchy. Anyone for a #testknit ? I have reworked my #simplecablebeanie to suit sock weight/fingering weight yarn, and also increased the range of sizes it comes in. I would love to have some more examples of it knit before I release the pattern in July. . The hat comes in 6 sizes (Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult Small, Medium and Large), and ideally I would like 2 testers for each size. . The yarn pictured here is Turin by @appleoakfibreworks , and all hats are from the same skein! There is no requirement to use a particular yarn, and the pattern is ideal for using up partial skeins of fingering weight yarn. The deadline is the end of June, and the pattern will be released in July.
