dc = double crochetÂ
sc = single crochet
ch = chainÂ
sl st = slip stitch
st = stitch
Patterns:
Bottom layer of flower (shown in pink):Â
using size J crochet hook ch 3, 12 dc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st to top of first dc. (12)
ch 3, dc 2 times in next ch, * sl st in next ch, ch 3, dc 2 times in next ch, repeat from * around for a total of 6 petals, end with a slip stitch in bottom of first ch 3.Â
Top layer of flower (shown in chocolate):Â
using size I crochet hook ch 3, 12 dc in 3rd ch from hook,
sl st to top of first dc. (12)
ch 3, dc 2 times in next ch, * sl st in next ch, ch 3, dc 2 times in next ch, repeat from * around for a total of 6 petals, end with a slip stitch in bottom of first ch 3.Â
Rosette center (shown in linen):
with size J crochet hook ch 8, 2 sc’s in 2nd ch from hook and in every ch across. fasten off
Finishing:
pull ends of rosette, and top layer through center of bottom layer and fasten together securely, weave in loose ends with yarn needle.
Finished size is approximately 3.5 “ x 3.5″ at the widest point of flower.
