Simon had emerged from the events of the chaos without any real damage. Once the dust had settled he had went back to his usual routine. The government were responding with new rules which made sense of course. But the hardest part of it all was knowing he didn't 100% disagree with the words that girl who had trapped him had said. He hated the way they had chosen to go about it. They had put so any people in danger. But it was a fair point that Grimstone may not be the best solution or the best way to handle people with powers. But for now he was doing his best to help with any clean up effort and talks with how to move forward.Ā
He was standing with a take away cup of tea in one hand and his other hand in his grey jacket pocket as he leaned against a lamppost and stared at nothing in particular as the world of grimstone moved around in front of him. People were already finishing things up earlier than usual due to the curfew.Ā āI hope this gets better soon....for everyone.ā he said more to himself than anyone else, however he was aware that there were people around in the street he was on and the decent size grassy area behind him.
