You really need to stop making statements about how well the game is doing now. Like, I get what you’re trying to do right now but the more you try to convince everyone nothing is wrong... the more something feels wrong. Like, when you fired those employees and SimsVIP reported on it, it felt bad but I thought that you at least thought you knew what was happening, but now? Not so much.

Do you realize how many statements you’ve made recently? You sound like a boyfriend who’s trying REALLY hard to convince us you aren’t cheating and the more times you say “Babe, for real! Nothing happened!” the worse it gets, especially the more obviously frustrated you get.

Seriously, The Sims Team feels like a shitty boyfriend. Who could forget their greatest hits? (Also I’ve included links and they are almost ALL from the last 2-3 months after the firings and SGDrake drama):

“No, really Babe! I’m still putting out content on PC!”

“What do you mean our player base isn’t growing? We had 80 Million players last year! What do you mean you want proof, babe don’t you trust me?”

“Nothing’s wrong! I even held an unofficial twitter Q&A so people could ASK me about the game!”

“You said that My First Pet stuff wouldn’t sell well and then it did. I was right about that!... What do you mean you want proof? Why don’t you ever TRUST me?”

“Why are you unhappy. C’mon, look how much money I’m making... which is totally good for you too! I’ll invest in making more great games like TS4!... Why are you rolling your eyes?”

“What do you mean ‘if I’m making money why did I have to lay off people due to budget cuts’? Baby, it’s finance, I know you don’t understand business but if you think about it, it makes TOTAL sense.”

“I’m even hiring new people...Well sort of, actually it’s just SimGuruKate. She took over the job of SimGuruDrake who I fired- uh, who left... Voluntarily.”

“Yes, babe, the SimGuru was “the white one who kept arguing with everyone"... I SAID I WAS SORRY!”

“Where did you even get the idea that I was going to stop making PC games?... Oh because of the firing everyone and moving all of the team to mobile? Well that’s... It’s like... You just don’t GET it.”

“Things will be fine, okay?!”

“What? No, I am totally NOT trying to outsource work to the content creators of the community to try and get free labor under the guise of “community outreach” That’s crazy talk, babe.”

“I promise you, I really have important news this time!”

“Babe, why are you like this? Stop talking about TS5 and live in the moment! Yeah, I know this is different than what we always used to do... I’ll get to it when I get to it!”

“Yeah, I know we don’t talk enough and I promise that will change... really soon. Probably in June?”

It’s been two months without new Sims 4 DLC and fans are getting restless.  SimGuruDrake has promised to keep Simmers in the loop though.  Sorta.
