I know Iâm late with this submission, I just didnât have any more free time last week. I still have other prompts that I want to write fics around, theyâll come later this week. I hope itâs okay that Iâm a few days late. This fic is not proofread, so there might be some mistakes in it.
Prompt: âWhen I was told I was going to a blind date, I never thought itâd be you.â
âWhat did you do?â Ambar was angry.
âWe set you up on a blind date.â Delfi answers her casually.
âI donât want to go.â
âWe just want to help you get over him.â Jazmin tries to explain.
âYou think setting me up with a complete stranger would help?â Ambar is starting to get annoyed.
âAll we want to do is help, Ambar.â Delfi hopes that Ambar will forgive her for this one day.
Ambar knew from the start that they were talking about Simon. She  started to feel something  for him when they were skating together in the intercontinental competition. She didnât know it at first because sheâs never felt this before. Not even with Matteo. This is all new to her. She didnât want to feel this way, because itâs Simon. Lunitaâs best friend. She didnât want to be associated with them. She did everything she could think of to forget him. But nothing worked. After a while, she accepted her feelings, now she finds every distraction possible.
âPlease, go on this date, you might be surprised. Maybe youâll like him.â Delfi keeps trying to convince her. It doesnât work.
âSorry, but my answer is still no. I need to be somewhere right now, so Iâll see you later.â Ambar says and she walks away.
Ambar arrives at school. When sheâs in the entrance, sheâs looking for her friends. she finds them with Lunita and Nina. Theyâre whispering to each other, Ambar thinks theyâre acting mysteriously. She is getting suspicious. She walks over to them. When they see her approaching, everybody stops talking and looks at her.
âWhat were you guys talking about.â She tries to make conversation.
Theyâre all trying to find something to say, they couldnât find an answer right the second.
âWe were telling Luna and Nina that it would be a good idea if you go on this blind date because itâs been so long since you were on a date. They also think it is a good idea.â Delfi tries. She hopes this excuse will do.
âI already told you that Iâm not going.â Ambar says.
âAmbar please, I know the guy Delfi is trying to set you up with. He is perfect for you.â Luna is also trying to convince.
Ambar feels like theyâre all up to something but thinks that it might be a good idea to go on this date. Hoping sheâll find out what their plan is.
âOkay, fine. Iâll go. But I canât promise that weâll go on a second date.â Ambar gives in.
The bell rings and they all go to class.
Ambar gets ready for her date, she doesnât dress too chic. Because she doesnât really want this date so sheâs not even trying to look pretty. She thinks that this guy isnât going to be great at all. She just wears a casual black skirt with a pink t-shirt with a black collar. She also wears light pink heels that match her t-shirt.
She gets in the car and Tino will drive to the restaurant where her date is already waiting for her.
When they arrive at the restaurant, she sees that itâs an expensive one. She realizes that she is underdressed.
When she walks in, the waiter is already waiting for her. He leads her to a table next to the window with a view of a beautiful park. When she finally gets a glimpse of her date, she sees that itâs Simon. She canât believe that this is really happening. She now realizes that her friendsâ plan was to bring her and Simon together, she had no idea that he could actually feel something for her as well.
She approaches her table. Simon is standing up with flowers in his hands. He smiles when he sees her. She smiles back at him.
âWhen I was told I was going to a bind date, I never thought itâd be you.â Ambar says.
âI see youâre surprised. I hope you are in a positive way.â He says hopefully.
âYes, of course I am.â Simon pulls out a chair for her and she sits down. He sits down on the chair in front of her.
âI hope youâll still be smiling at the end of this date.â Simon says with a flirty tone.

Ok, so... this is for the last day. It was a total pleasure to be part of #simbarficweek, I enyoyed writing all the prompts, and your comments about them. Thank you so so so much, seriously. This is, as I promised, the second part from day 2âČs prompt. Hope you like it.
PART ONE HERE
DAY 8 - In canon universe fic (because it could be canon, couldnât it?)Â
âAre you ok?â
Simon looked up and found his best friend standing right next to him, with a smoothie on her hand, and a worried expression on her face.
âYeah, yeah⊠Iâm ok.â He answered, forcing a smile.
Luna didnât believe him for a second.
âWhatâs wrong?â she asked, sitting in the chair in front of him. âYou have been acting odd since the other day. I knew it was a bad idea to send you to talk to Ambar, it should have been me, if she did or said something mean to you I swear to God I...â
He interrupted her.
âShe didnât, donât worryâ he said with a small smirk, she had that angry face of her that has always reminded him to a squirrel, a very angry squirrel.
âThen, why are you like that?â
Her question made him sigh, he couldnât tell her about the conversation they had in the lockerâs room, and much less about the fact he was almost going to tell Ambar he may need her. It was strange, but he has been thinking a little too much about the blonde girl for a while now, noticing her right in the moment when she came in to a room where he was in, and wanting to be the one she smiled to while she was talking with her friends. It was strange because she was Ambar Smith, and he was just the guitarist, her nemesisâ best friend.
âIâm just nervous about the competition, we still need to find someone to replace Ambarâ he lied, he didnât like to lie to his best friend, but he couldnât say the truth about this neither.
âYeah, I know.â Luna bit his lip. âGastĂłn said he would do it, but the choreography was made for three girls and three boys, so it wouldnât work. I asked Nina, she is skating a little bit more since she is dating GastĂłn, but she said she doesnât have the skills for a competition like that. Matteo told me he would ask Delfi and JazmĂn, but Iâm pretty sure they wonât do it because of Ambar, and Jim and Ramiro told me they are going to insist with Yam, even if she has said she was too busy with her internship with Mora.â
Yeah, they were screwed, there was only one week left for the competition.
âMaybe if I talk to AmbarâŠâ started to say Luna, and he shook his head.
âShe wonât listenâ
âBut I could insistâ
âAnd she will get mad, say something mean, and youâll end up fightingâ He said, and there it was again, the angry squirrel face.
âWe need to do somethingâ
âI knowâ he admitted.
Yes, he needed to do something, and he wasnât even talking about the competition, but about his situation with Ambar Smith, he needed to let her know how he felt, even if he wasnât sure he could handle his heart being ripped apart, again.
Jazmin was in front of her, tablet on her hands, filming her for the next Fav & Chick update. They were on the rink, not many people were skating around them, and so it was the perfect moment to do a little demonstration of her skills.
But first, they were making a short interview.
âPlease, tell us why youâre not participating in the next competitionâ asked the redhead, and she gave a confident smile to the camera.
âBecause the team doesnât have the level I deserve, so I decided to focus on my training for the next one that is in couples, so I can easily win.â she answered.
âAnd who is going to be your partner?â was the next question.
âOh, he hasnât been chosen yet, but I will be doing some auditions very soon⊠so stay tuned!â she kept smiling to the camera, even if she wanted Jazmin to turn it off.
âThatâs nice!â Her friend continued. âSo, why are we here at the rink?â she asked then, as scripted.
âBecause I wanted to show some of my moves to my fansâ she said, and sent a kiss to the camera. âReady?â added, going to her position, and when her friend gave her a thumbs up signal, she started skating around the rink, doing some amazing tricks she had been working on.
And then, when she was doing her last trick, he saw him leaning on the protecting bars of the rink.
She almost fell.
He was looking directly at her, his face was illegible, something she had thought was impossible as Simonâs expressions were always an open book.
âWhat happened on the last trick?â Jazmin asked her.
âI lost concentration, thatâs all.â she answered, not even looking at her.
âWould you like to try it again?â her friend asked, getting the tablet ready to film again, but Ambar stopped her.
âIs ok, just edit the last part out, I have to do somethingâ she answered, noticing Simonâs sight still on her.
She couldnât stop thinking about that conversation they had at the lockerâs room the other day, sometimes she felt as if his warm body was still surrounding her in that thigh hug, and sometimes she found herself thinking about how it would be to kiss him.
She always stopped herself in that part.
And last, but not least, she has been asking herself again and again what was that thing he was going to tell her just before storming out from the room.
âAre you sure?â her friend asked, and she saw Simon doing a gesture with his head, like inviting her to go talk somewhere else.
âYeah, Iâm sureâ.
âIf you want to talk about the competition, forget it. Iâm not going back to the teamâ She said, as soon as she found him on the park, where they agreed to meet.
She had suggested to talk at the lockerâs room, but he insisted to do it somewhere no one could interrupt them, so she went to change her skates, and then walked to the park.
She ran, indeed.
âI donât want to talk about the competition, Jim and Ramiro are convincing Yam to take your partâ he answered, and she felt a small jealously prick when he thought about the other girl skating on her placer, even worst, skating with him.
âShe isnât even half good as I am.â She said, taking a strand of hair out of her face.
âWell, you were the one who decided to leave the team, werenât you?â he asked, and then shook his head, like if he could erase what he had just said with that gesture. âForget it, I didnât bring you here to talk about thatâ he looked nervous.
âThen why?â she asked.
âBecauseâŠâ he took some air. âWell⊠I-.â He nervously brushed his hand on his neck. âI thought we could talk about the other day, about everything I told you, I feel I must apologizeâŠâ
She didnât let him continue.
âDonât apologize.â She said. âYou donât have to.â
âWhy for?â he asked.
âBecause you were right.â She answered, her heart beating faster.
She had been thinking a lot about their conversation, she knew he was right about her, but thatâs what made her get so angry, the fact he got to see her through the wall she had made to keep her true feelings hidden from the world.
âI should be the one to apologize, I donât like it when people try to lecture me, and so I overreacted.â She sighted. âIt wasnât my best moment, and I made you pay for it, when it wasnât your fault.â
He looked at her, mouth-opened.
âWow! Did I just get an apology from Ambar Smith?â He said, sincerely surprised.
She allowed a small grin to come out from her lips.
âWell, donât get used to itâ she answered, but she was smiling.
âI wonât, I promiseâ he said, and she felt her own hear warming because of his smile.
They didnât talk for almost a minute, but it wasnât an uncomfortable silence, it was indeed really nice, because they didnât need to say much to feel good around each other.
âBy the way, about the other day⊠you were going to say something before you left, what was it?â she asked then, because she couldnât get that question out of her mind.
âIt⊠it was nothingâ he said, trying to avoid the topic, and she rolled her eyes.
âI told you everything, and apologized. So, whatever it was, please tell meâ she demanded, and he sighed.
âOk, but donât freak out.â He said, after a while. âI understand if you donât feel the same, but I⊠I kind of believe that the reason why I went to the lockers room that day wasnât entirely because of the team, but because I kind of enjoy skating with you, I mean, I feel we connect⊠we are good for each other, and I kind of started to⊠like you. Well, more than liâŠlike,â he stuttered. âI thing Iâm falling for you. But, as I told you, itâs ok if you donât feeâŠâ
He didnât get to finish his words, because her lips met his, and he felt like if the muses were singing hallelujahs around them.
They stopped thinking, his arms went around her putting her close, and hers surrounded his neck, not letting the height difference separate their lips. Right in that moment they could be surrounded by a lot of people, and they wouldnât notice, in that exact moment there were only both of them.
She was the one who broke the kiss, but he kept her close, as their eyes met.
âIâm not sure about what I feel for you, Iâve never felt something like this before, but Iâm not afraid to figure it out, not anymore.â She said, caressing his face.
He smiled.
âWe donât have to rush it, I mean⊠we have a lot of timeâ He said. âFor example, now that we are here, would you like an ice-cream or something? It could be like a first dateâ He asked, and she laughed. He was right, maybe they could get along a little bit, know each other, and find out whatâs exactly that feeling growing up between them. Â
âDonât you have to go back for work?â She asked, teasing him with a smile.
âI asked Nico to replace me for the rest of the day, we came to an agreement: I covered him last week when he dated Jim.â He answered, and she smiled again. Itâs impossible not to smile when he is close, she thought. âCome on, is just an ice creamâ he insisted, breaking their embrace, and offering her his hand.
âOk, letâs go for that ice creamâ she said, and took his hand to start walking by the park.
Later that night she couldnât sleep thinking about that amazing kiss, and found herself knocking on Lunaâs bedroom by midnight, telling her she was going to go back to the team, so they wouldnât have to keep searching for someone to replace her.
The thought of Simon skating with someone else was enough to make her swallow her pride, and go back to the team.Â
now iâm speechless, over the edge iâm just breathless
SIMBAR FICWEEK IS HERE AND IM SO DAMN HAPPY I MIGHT JUST AS WELL CRY OKAYÂ
yes, hi. this is day one, and iâm so excited even tho i only have a total of a day and a half ready and 1000% sure this all will be written the day before so im sorry in advance yâallÂ
anywayyyyy hope you enjoy this not even close to be proofread mess:Â
DAY ONE: âYouâre unfairly good at everything, but Iâm strong enough to carry you bride-style and this for some reason renders you speechlessâ
Ămbar was getting more and more annoyed by the second, waiting for him to arrive.
The guitarist wasnât bad, but he wasnât the best either; and always, always late.
She was the strongest out of the two; it was easy to outshine him when skating (not that she didnât do that already when she skated with Matteo, but now it was laughable how easy it was) However, SimĂłn being weak was also a risk; because then her safety would be compromised if he lifted her the wrong way, or dropped her by accident if he stepped wrong.
So far none of that had happened because they hadnât practiced those parts yet; Tamara wanting to help them âconnectâ with each other had taken most of their rehearsing time with the easy steps first, leaving the most complicated ones for last (which was stupid and a waste of time, she had made it known but, of course, âtake it easyâ was the teamâs motto).
Another problem was that he was easily distracted all the time; if she had to count the number of times she had to snap him out of his Luna-induced-state, sheâd fall asleep very quickly at night.
Him not giving her enough attention bothered her a lot.
And her vanity was wounded. She was used to shine, to be the sun on the rink, everyoneâs attention on her, awed by her talent, envying her because her steps were as flawless as it could be; and he, foolishly, would rather focus on a stupid moon who couldnât care less was his center of gravitation. Â
Yes, it bothered a lot.
Ămbar huffed once she finished tying her quadsâ laces, angry at herself for letting that boyâs obliviousness affect her, when SimĂłn stumbled into the lockers, in a rush.
âAm I late?â he asked, breathing heavily. She didnât know what was with him and Luna being late to everything, but she was reaching her limit of patience, always waiting. Was this a Mexican thing, or were they just oh so connected that shared the same flaws?
âNot yet.â She scowled him, standing up to allow him lace up his own skates. SimĂłn had the decency to look ashamed.
âIâm sorry, but with the band weâre still choo-â
She interrupted him, scowl intact, âI honestly donât care.â
Ămbar waited for him to be offended by her response, like a normal person would; he, of course, being all Mr. Nice Guy, just smiled at her, sitting down with his quads to begin putting them on. âFair enough.â
She didnât know how to respond to that.
She wanted to ask him what he meant, why he didnât seem to mind her bashing his band; but she just huffed again (which she did a lot around him), and skated to the rink, not before shouting a âhurry upâ in his direction, to, well, hurry him up.
She stepped in the rink in seconds, unsurprised that the only people from the team that were there, were Ramiro, Matteo and her. Ămbar, of course, couldnât stop from complaining.
âYour partners arenât here yet? So unprofessional.â
Matteo was the first to react, rolling his eyes at her comment, and jumped to defend his lover girl âLuna had to stay at school a little longer today, sheâll be here soon.â
âAh, of course.â
She could see her exâs mouth turning upwards for a second, before she started her usual warm ups around the rink, not bothering to hear what Ramiro had to say about Jimâs whereabouts. She could care less about whatever those losers were doing, probably moping around some guy; because they were that desperate.
Matteo caught up with her a moment later, âwhereâs the guitarist, anyway? I donât see him here either.â
âMiss him already?â she changed her course, standing in front of him to now skate backwards, smirk well put on her face. âWorried that heâs actually with your little Luna-love?â
âĂmbar.â His face turned blank, not entertained at all (which in Matteo terms, meant he was jealous and wasnât willing to let the world know)
âLuckily for us, though,â she nodded towards the lockersâ doorframe, where SimĂłn was already there, about to step into the rink, âheâs here, alone.â
Matteo didnât look back, didnât even tilt his head to look behind him, but kept his eyes on her face. His eyes turned from emotionless to amused in a second, and a smile appeared just as fast, âI see.â
âBut you donât.â She retorted, confused at his answer. Was today a âtell Ămbar weird responses to confuse herâ day or something? Or were they just idiots?
âOr do I?â he teased, circling around her. Ămbar glared at him, crossing her arms.
He was acting ridiculous now. From experience, she could tell he was trying to get something out of her, by making her want to lash out and admit something. What exactly, she wasnât sure. Balsano knew her better than most people, so the probability of him catching up with something about her before she could even think about it first was high.
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â
Matteo circled her one more time before shrugging off, âyouâre smart, youâll figure it out.â With that, he left her side to go to the bleachers, where GastĂłn was now with Ramiro, Jim and Yam.
Nevertheless, Ămbar was annoyed. âWhat the- Matteo!â she called after him, ready to skate in his direction when SimĂłn appeared in front of her, blocking her way from demanding answers out of her ex-boyfriend.
âHave you warmed up yet?â he asked, half scaring her to death, half actually killing her by nearly making her fall from the scare. Basically, he almost murders her.
He did save her, though, by holding her by the shoulders before she could meet the ground.
âI was in the middle of that,â she shrugged him off, literally, to get his hands off her. He took a step back, and smiled down at her, making her slightly uncomfortable.
Personally, she thought he looked ridiculous. Crooked beanie, horrible blue hoodie, and creepy smile. She was reminded of her best friendâs stupid crush when he first appeared in their lives; for someone who loved fashion, how could JazmĂn had ever been interested in him? A real mystery she was not set to solve.
He had a nice enough body and face, but there was something that just made her hesitate about him. Unknown territory she had no intention to step on.
âWant to warm up together? We could even practice the lifts this time.â SimĂłn pulled her out of her thoughts. So, of course, taken out in a shock, she blurted out the first thing that came out from her brain.
âDo you like JazmĂn?â
He blinked, once, twice, âwhat?â
The heat from her cheeks was unwelcome. She knew she was embarrassed.
Fortunately for her, it was then when Mariano came and ordered them to start skating around the rink again, so they did.
They circled around fourteenth times, stretching and practicing a couple easy steps on the way. Lunita joined them when they hit the fourth round, shouting apologies nobody (her) cared to listen, and she huffed once more.
Fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth.
On the eighteenth turn, SimĂłn finally caught up with her, skating along her and trying to follow whatever step she was making. She got annoyed soon, and went past him, increasing her speed until it was safe to do an axel without falling on her face for lack of impulse.
She heard her friends cheer on the background, clapping loudly. When had they arrived, she had no idea, but she still flipped her hair in acknowledgement, smirking proudly.
When she looked back she found SimĂłnâs eyes on her, smiling and clapping along. The image was so weird, so unusual to her, she lost her balance for a second, and fell on her butt. His face turned concerned immediately and, rushed to her side; the rest of the team plus their coaches close behind.
His face was in front of hers in a minute, âyouâre okay?â
She gulped at the closeness, her stomach getting unsettled all of the sudden, âI think so.â
Tamara came behind SimĂłn, who had kneeled down beside her, and asked, âcan you stand? Does it hurt anywhere?â
It was then when Ămbar noticed her ankle was actually in pain, wincing. âI think my ankle might be hurt.â
Mariano cursed loudly, and ordered for anyone to bring ice quickly, while he ran to his cellphone to call a doctor. With Tamara and SimĂłnâs help, they took her quads off, the former examining her left ankle as soon as the sock was off.
âI think it might just be a bruise,â she spoke sweetly, after a few minutes, âstill, itâd be better if you just sit down and ice it for today.â Ămbar was more than ready to complain, but Tamaraâs look shut her up before she could, ânow, one of you please take her to the bleachers so she can sit down there.â
On the corner of her eye, she saw Matteo taking a step, ready to offer himself. SimĂłn beat him at it, surprising them both, but made her ex smile for some reason. Â
âI will.â Without giving her time to protest, he lifted her up, securing her in his arms; bride-style.
Ămbar was speechless. He even had his freaking quads on! She didnât know if she was scared heâd let her fall or just plain shocked he volunteered to carry her, but she couldnât form a sentence.
Once they reached the stands, he accommodated her on a chair, before allowing Delfi and JazmĂn to bombarded with questions about her wellbeing.
âHey, hey, let her breath.â He nudged them softly, shutting them up effectively for a total of two seconds, because then they proceeded to apologize non-stop.
Somehow she found her voice again, âjust shut up already.â They did this time, âif you want to be useful go and bring me water or something.â
They were gone in a flash, so she looked up to the boy, who looked more amused than anything. âWhat?â she asked, but he just shrugged, avoiding an answer.
âSimĂłn! Get back to practice!â Mariano yelled at him, snapping his fingers to let him know there was no time to waste.
âI hate that guy,â he told her secretively, making the corners of her mouth twitch.
âSIMĂN!â
The boy rolled his eyes, but still didnât move, âare you going to be okay by yourself for now?â she nodded in response, âfeel better, yeah? Canât let this rink be without its queen.â SimĂłn winked, and left her to go with a very pissed Mariano, finally starting to practice the choreography.
She was stunned, once again, by him. What even was this? Black magic? Voodoo? This clearly wasnât her.
âDoes it hurt less now, Ămbar?â Delfi appeared again, with a bottle of water and a very worried JazmĂn carrying a sandwich behind her.
She nodded. But inside, she was screaming.
SimĂłn must have thrown a spell on her, that was the only (il)logical reason. Â
Cause she, sure as hell, wasnât crushing on him.
Is this cheating? It feels like cheating? Anyway, have the first day of simbar ficweek it doubles as a prompt answer so you know itâs awesome ( or not really but whatever) I really hope you guys like itÂ
Expect the unexpected
She has no idea how it happened or when it happen or how did she even let it happen but she has built a routine on talking with SimĂłn on the phone every night before going to sleep. For some reason this little talks have become a crucial part of her routine and she canât go to sleep if she hasnât talked to SimĂłn first. She really needs to get a damn grip.
âSo honestly I hate this guy.â Ămbar continues her daily complaining on the phone to SimĂłn.
âYou know you say this about someone at least once a week?â SimĂłn asks amused.
âI am very aware.âĂmbar says turning around in her bed. âItâs just that there are so many people deserving of my hate in this world.â
âIâm just glad that Iâm not one of them.â SimĂłn teases her and Ămbar rolls her eyes even if he canât see her.
âAt least for now.â Ămbar teases him. âWho knows who can happen in the future.â
âI hope nothing bad, I donât want to to suffer your wrath.â SimĂłn chuckles and she smiles to herself.âAnyway itâs late and you have classes tomorrow.â
âGood night, I love you.â He says sounding distracted and Ămbar breath catches for a second, SimĂłn doesnât seem to notice what came out of his mouth immediately but the moment he does an awkward silence takes over the line.âOk, sleep well.â
âAnd how am I supposed to do that after what youâve just told me?â Ămbar question him hoping that this will prompts some explanation about what just happened out of him but instead he just mutters a quick bye and hangs up the phone. Ămbar canât believe this guy, after dropping that bomb all he says is âsleep wellâ?
She huffs and looks at her phone offended and confused, the first because this loser just hanged up on her and the second because she recognizes the feeling growing on her chest as disappointment. Is she disappointed that SimĂłn just told her he loves her? That canât be, the uneasiness of the feeling started settling itself on her chest after he said, when it had become obvious that SimĂłn was going to avoid the topic. Is it possible she is disappointed because of that? That she is disappointed that he is avoiding topic instead of facing it?Is it possible that she is actually in love with SimĂłn and that's why she is feeling like this?
Ămbar stares at the ceiling, analyzing her present and pasts feelings for SimĂłn.
Somehow the guy had become an important feature in her life, he had become the person she goes to when she is feeling down, sad or angry, the first person she runs to every time she has good news and the person who always managed to make smile. Maybe there is a chance that somewhere along the way she had fallen in love with the guitarist without noticing, that love is the warm feeling that spreads on her chest when she sees his face. Ămbar groans into her pillow, she canât believe she fell in love with SimĂłn and that she couldnât notice it in time to stop it.
Ămbar turns on her bed again, now with another burning question roaming her mind, sadly this is a question she canât answer on her own, no matter how smart she is.
Saying Ămbar wakes up the next morning would imply that she actually managed to actually sleep but all she did was toss and turn. At least she had a plan of action after that sleepless night, first step: Interrogate Lunita.Â
Ămbar gets ready quickly and throws a look at her clock, itâs almost seven, which means that Luna must still be on her room, perfect. Ămbar walks across the house until she reaches Lunaâs room but when she knocks on her door thereâs no answer, she tries again, harder this time, just in case she is still asleep but nothing changes. Ămbar opens the door just to find the room empty, she figures SimĂłn warned Luna about what happened and she decided to flee as early as she could just to avoid her, great.
She goes down to the kitchen and when she finds no one but MĂłnica her suspicions are confirmed, that little coward ran. Now the only thing she can do is go straight to the source.
She asks MĂłnica for a quick breakfast and in just minutes he is out of the house and in her way to the Jam&Roller, she doesnât care how early it is,she doesnât care that they are probably not opened yet, she doesnât care that Nico and Pedro will be there too, she doesnât care about anything, she is a woman on a mission and nothing will stop her.
Once she gets to the Roller the doors are closed but she hears some rustling inside so she starts knocking forcefully, just a few seconds later a very confused Pedro opens the door for her.
âWhat are you doing-?â Pedro starts but she interrupts him.
âWhereâs SimĂłn?â She asks and Pedro just takes a step to the side to let her in and points inside, his confused expression changed for a vaguely terrified one.
âWhat the fuck, SimĂłn? âShe says in form of greeting when she finds him cleaning tables with Nico.
âI better go do...that thing.â Nico says and bolts somewhere Ămbar doesnât care about.
âHi.â SimĂłn says awkwardly and Ămbar rolls her eyes.
âSave it.â She tells him. âYou know why Iâm here.â
âI know.â SimĂłn sighs and walks to her. âLook Ămbar Iâm sorry.â
âYou are sorry?â Ămbar asks too surprised to keep the hurt out of her voice.
âYeah, I am.â SimĂłn looks down, avoiding her eyes. âI shouldnât have said that.â
Ămbar doesnât know what she expected when she came here but she is sure it wasnât this. She didnât expect a big love declaration that would end up in passionate kiss that would seal their love forever or some crap, she is not that kind of girl but she thought she would at least get a kiss and maybe a boyfriend by the end of this conversation. And now it looks like she wonât even be capable of keeping her friend if the tears stinging in her eyes are anything to go by.
âYou shouldnât have?â She asks slowly, bracing herself for his answer.
âNo, I shouldnât.â SimĂłn sighs. Â âI know you are not in love with me and I should have never put that weight on you, Iâve learned my lesson.â
âWhat?â Ămbar exclaims confused. âTell me again why you shouldnât have said you love me.â
âBecause you donât.â SimĂłn looks up, finally meeting her eyes and letting her see the sadness. âBut you are still on of my best friends and I want to have on in my life so the fact that Iâm in love with you itâs my problem, not yours.â
âOkay but who the hell said Iâm not in love with you?â Ămbar asks somewhat harshly.
âWait.âSimĂłn shakes his head in disbelief.âWhat did you just say?â
âI said that Iâm in love with you.â Ămbar says softly, taking a step closer to her. âI donât know how it happened or how I left it happen but it did and Iâm in love with you.â
SimĂłn looks at her dumbfounded, his mouth slightly open and the surprise evident in his eye, but slowly a bright smile replaces his confused expression and hope fills his eyes.
âDo you really mean it?â He whispers softly, taking a step closer to her, leaving their bodies almost pressed to each other and letting her feel his breath on her lips.
âI really do.â Ămbar admits just as softly, taking her hands to his shoulders, hoping he gets the hint.
âWell since Iâm in love with you and you are in love I have a proposition.â SimĂłn tells her, resting his hands on her waist.
âWhat is it?â Ămbar asks curious about the excitement  in his eyes.
âYou and me.â He starts and Ămbar has to bite her lip to contain a small giggle, she doesn't giggle. âGoing on a date, tomorrow night.â
âAnd what would we do on this date?â
âThis, I hope.â And with that SimĂłn lips finally meet with hers.
The first time she met him she had never thought she would end up kissing him and she definitely never thought it would be so good. She canât really describe the warm feeling that is born in her chest and spread further and further to reach every part of her body with every movement of of his lips against her, she had never felt something so nice before, so oddly peaceful but that fills her with excitement at the same time. SimĂłn pulls her closer and Ămbar smiles into the kiss, she canât really describe what he makes her feel, all the things he does to her but she guess she can put a name to it now. She is in love. Ămbar Smith is in love and with SimĂłn Ălvarez of all people.
If I believe in love, and you believe in love, then we can be in love somehow

âAmbar has been down since her godmother told her that she won't approve her being in a relationship with a musician, and then she started pushing Simon away, and after a while Simon stopped insisting on her and Ambar couldn't take it anymore.
-Ambar, stop messing with the food and just eat- Sharon told her with a angry tone, her characteristic tone.
-I'm not very hungry- Ambar answered looking down at her dish
-You have to eat, Monica made that because you asked it and I'm not going to throw food on the trash- Sharon said now looking at directly at Ambar with an unamused look on her face
-Well, I guess being with you suddenly made me lose my appetite- Ambar said mad placing her fork aggressively in the plate
-Who do you think you are to talk to me that way? You have become such a rude lady, what happened to your manners towards your elders?- Sharon said in shock -It must be for spending so much time with that musician- Sharon said with a smile a cold smile that could make anyone shrivel, but Ambar was used to it
-Don't talk about Simon, he has nothing to do with this, and he is way much better person that you or me would ever be- Ambar said, now her voice was cracking and tears in her eyes were about to burst, her godmother hit her right where Ambar was more hurt -And i don't even think he wants to be with me anymore, so you should be happy- Now Ambar's voice was down trying not to crumble
-I'm not happy, I just don't care Ambar, that is just another whim of you, the only thing you should think about is the school and be the best in it- Sharon said now going back to her dish, but Ambar had enough of her godmother crap already
-A whim? Are you serious? I'm sorry that you are some kind of robot that doesn't have emotion and is unable to feel love, but big news, some people do feel, and is not whim- Ambar said now furious almost screaming to her godmother with tears bursting down her face -I am the best at school, I always do whatever you want, but I had enough, I just never would be good enough for you -She couldn't take it anymore and went rushing to her room, she was always trying to look strong in her godmother eyes, never crying, but that was enough and the feeling of loosing Simon only made her weaker.Â
After a couple of minutes crying on her pillow she took her phone from her nightstand, she needed him and couldn't lie to her anymore saying that she would be okay away from him, so she texted him.
"I miss you so much, I just want to love you the way you deserve" She hit send, she thought that he wouldn't answer now after Simon sent her hundreds of texts without any answer, but in fact of 10 seconds she got an answer.
"I miss you too little gem, and don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, so I'll be here whenever you are ready" What she told to her godmother was true, he was way better than her, he was the best human being she ever knew, she was going to answer him when a knocked on her door distracted her.
-Ambar I need to talk to you- Sharon said entering to her room -What you did downstairs what unacceptable
-Godmother not now please- Ambar interrupted her -I'm tired, you can lecture me tomorrow, please -She said in a barely audible tone
-Ambar we need to talk now, you can't talk to me that way, you can't talk to no one that way- Sharon said in a soft tone that made Ambar paid attention to her, Ambar's words hit hard on Sharon because made her remember the love she lost, and how hurt she was because of that, and even though she doesn't say it often she loved Ambar, she was like a daughter to her, and she didn't want her to suffer the way she did, so maybe was the time to see if the guy was good enough for Ambar -And I can't allow that behavior on you, so if the the solution is that musician boy, I'm going to meet him and see if he is right for you- Ambar's eyes lighted up like a star and jump out of bed towards Sharon to hug her.
-Thank you godmother, I know you would see he is a great person- Ambar said still wrapping her, she didn't remember the last time they hug, but it was nice, after all she was the only family she has because her parents were never around.-We'll see, tomorrow, noon, at the Le Bristol, tell him- Sharon said walking out of her room, Ambar rushed to her phone and texted him.
"Would you do something for me?"
"Anything little gem"
"Would you handle a torture lunch with my godmother tomorrow?" She sent and felt like it was an eternity before got Simon's answer
"Like a said, anything. Do you think I would suffer a lot?" Ambar let a little smile out thinking about how nervous Simon could be.
"I don't think so, I don't think that even my godmother could resist to your charming"
"Oh, so you think I'm charming, interesting" What a dork, she thought
"Le Bistrol, noon, be punctual and wear a dress shirt, no beanies, see you tomorrow"
"No beanies? Damn, there it goes 50% of my charm. See you tomorrow little gem" And with that she fell sleep with the biggest smile on her face.
On the way to the restaurant she was a nervous mess, if they don't get along would be a hell to Ambar, but she trusted Simon and knew he would be great, Did she? Of course, but that didn't help the fact that Ambar thought about every scenario that could go wrong. First scenario, he arriving late. Wrong he was already there when they arrived, and the second scenario also was wrong, he was so well dressed, was wearing a white shirt with a black blazer and matching pants that fitted him so good, Ambar was gladly surprised, Matteo definetly dressed him up, because she could reconigze that blazer.
-Miss Benson, a pleasure to finally meet you- Simon said shaking her hand -Please, let me- He said moving a chair to help her sit.
-Simon, nice to meet you- Sharon answered in a plane tone
-Ambar, you look radiant as always- Simon said giving her a little kiss on the cheek and helping her to sit
-Thank you- Ambar said more than pleased
They saw the menu for a couple of minutes and when the waitress took their orders Sharon started the interrogation
-So Simon, Ambar told me you are musician
-Yes, I'm in a band called Rollerband
-And that is just a hobby?
-No, music is a very important aspect to me and is the way I want to gain my life- Simon said sure
-And do you think you are gonna make enough to take care of my goddaughter?
-Godmother please...-Ambar said rolling her eyes
-Don't worry Ambar, I've thought about it of course, maybe we are just starting to date but I'm taking my relationship with Ambar very serious and I know I can take care of her, the band is very new and still is having a lot of success, we already have a record deal, we have played in important events already, so we have a lot more to come- Simon said taking Ambar's hand under the table
-Yes, they actually played in the restaurant of the Altavista Hotel -Ambar said enthusiastic to his godmother -That is one of my godmother's favorite hotel when she has to go to Puerto Madero -She said smiling to Simon
-You did? -Sharon asked incredulous
-Yes we did, but we handed that all to Ambar, she got us the deal, who would say she is so good for public relations -Simón said smiling proudly to Ambar and Sharon could see how she blushed a little -And is not the only thing I can do, I'm singer but I play a lot of instruments and I love to teach, I teach Ambar to play guitar- He said smiling widely now looking at Sharon and Ambar tighter the grip remembering that and smiling
-Yes, he is a a great teacher- Simon and Ambar looked at each other smiling, and Sharon could see how happy they both were, then the waitress came back with their orders and they eat calmly in silent, Sharon hated to talk while she was eating and Simon didn't try to set another conversation and she could appreciate that, maybe the musician wasn't much of a savage as she thought at first.
When they finished Sharon was going to take the check but Simon took it first and looked at Sharon in an apologetic way.
-I'm sorry Miss Benson, but I can't let you pay- Simon said while taking out his credit car, he didn't even look the check, he knew that restaurant was very expensive but he was saving some money to buy a cute ring he saw for Ambar, but impressing her godmother was a priority, the ring could wait for a couple of more gigs and working double turns on the Jam and Roller.
-Well, then I must thank you Simon, was a nice dinner- Sharon said in an indescribable tone
-I must thank you for be a great company- He said smiling while looking at Ambar who just smiled back still with a little blush on her face
-So can we do it again?- Ambar said now looking at Sharon and she knew that was a form of asking if she was allowed to keep seeing Simon
-I can't find a reason to say no- Was Sharon answer, Simon couldn't tell if that was a good thing, but when he turned to look at Ambar she was smiling widely and tighted the grip on his hand, so he guessed that was a good answer.Â
The waitress handed back the credit card to Simon and they walked out the restaurant, Simon walk them to their car where Tino was waiting them.
-Miss Sharon was a total pleasure to meet you- Simon said shaking her hand as good bye.
-Simon- Sharon said nodding and entered to the car.
-Was as bad as it feels?- Simon asked to Ambar, she took his hands and smiled, Simon would go trough a thousand dinners with Miss Sharon if that guaranteed Ambar keep smiling like that.
-It was amazing, I know her and she liked you, but she would never show, so don't worry
-So that means we can be together again?- He said doubtfully
-Yes, even if she doesn't like you, that I don't think its possible, I need to be with you- She said leaning for a hug, oh god, how she missed his hugs
-Great, because I need you too- He said holding her tighter -But now go, don't want to make your godmother wait now, see you tomorrow?- Simon asked pushing her a little apart
-What about tonight? I need to recover the time I lost being apart
-I'd love to- He said smiling widely
-Great- She lean to say good bye with a kiss on his cheek, and whispered on his ear -And don't take off that suit, I'm going to be the one to do it- She said smiling cheeky and entering to the car, when they were leaving in the car she saw SimĂłn almost jumping from happines with a very blushy and smiling face there.
After a couple of minutes on the car Ambar couldn't wait more and asked.
-So what do you think about Simon?
-He is fine- Sharon answered without even looking at her
-So is okay if I keep seeing him?- Ambar asked nervous
-You are going to do it even if I say no, don't you?
-But I'd like that you could approve it, I don't say that often, but your opinion is very important to me godmother- Ambar said looking at her insistent
-I approve him- Was all that Sharon said looking out of the window -He is quite charming- Ambar's heart jumped in emotion of hear that, she knew Simon was so charming that could charm even her godmother, but he didn't have to knew that, she was not going to let that go to his head, she smiled proudly knowing that she has found the only boy in the world that could charm Sharon Benson.Â

This one is inspired by some spoiler pictures we got from the S2, but as nothing is confirmed until it comes out on the series, because those pictures are out of context, letâs say this is simply a âwhat if?â xD! This one is not angst free, but I promise the ending will pay it.
DAY 5 - âAfter everything you did, youâre asking ME to apologize for snapping at you ONCE?âÂ
She was mad at him.
They had been in the car, not talking to each other, for half an hour. He was driving, at least she let him drive her back home, and maybe it was just because the rest of the cars were full, or didnât want to make a two hours trip with an angry Ambar Smith in the back seat.
He should say he was sorry, he didnât like to see her like that, it hurts him, but part of him was stubborn, Â and thought she should be the one to say she was sorry, that stupid fight would have never started if it wasnât for her attitude towards the others.
He put some music, the silence was killing him, but she turned it off and frowned at him.
âArenât you going to say something?â she asked, enraged.
âWhat do you want me to say?â He didnât even try to put a friendly voice.
âThat you are sorry!â
âWhy would I be sorry? I didnât do wrong.â He answered, still driving. âYou were the one who was being passive-aggressive with Luna, and the rest of our friendsâ.
âI wasnâtâ she tried to defend herself, he looked at her for a second, and then took his eyes back to the road.
âYou know you were, donât argue with me about thatâ he said.
Then, she didnât say word, and he drove some miles more in complete silence, before she got to fire back.
âWell, they werenât friendly with me neitherâ
âYou were mean, Ambarâ He answered, not taking his eyes from the road. âYou told Luna so many insulting things I lost count, and she was sincerely trying to be friendly with you, even after all what you did to the Jam & Roller and the team last yearâ.
âI thought we were good about it!â
âWe are!â he replied, raising his voice for the first time. âYou know what? I canât do this anymore, I canât drive while we argueâ he said and pulled the car out of the road, because if they continued this conversation while he was driving there would be a car crash, or something like that.
âLookâŠâ he said, turning on the parking lights. âIâm good with you being on a different team, practicing on another rink, competing against our team.â He took some air.  âYes, I miss skating with you, and I miss seeing you at the Jam & Roller every day, but I understand why you are doing this, and I know your decision has nothing to do with me, or the teamâ.
She stayed silent.
âWell, maybe it IS a little bit about the teamâ he added. Â âBut I understand and fully support you, and I will always do it. I know you needed to find yourself somewhere else, to skate in a place where you could achieve your dreams, and show up all your potential. I know youâre happy in your new team, and I would never be mad at you because of that. So yeah, we could compete in different teams, but I will always be your number one fan, and be happy if your team wins, as much as I would if ours did.â
More silence, so he sighed.
âIt is ok for me, but you have to understand itâs not the same way for the others, they feel betrayed, and you canât blame them for that.â He continued, with a soft voice. âAnd I was so stupid I took you to that party so you could talk to them, and maybe fix some things. But you were with your defenses up, waiting for them to say anything you could translate into an invitation to start an argument, and so it happened.â
âYou snapped at me in front of all of them!â she finally exploded.
âOnce, and I just told you to calm down.â he sighed again, trying to keep it cool. âI know it wasnât the best tone, but otherwise you and Luna would have killed each other, and Iâm pretty sure not even me and Matteo together would have been able to stop you.â
âBut you are my boyfriend, and it totally looked like if you were on her sideâ she replied.
He rolled his eyes.
âOh no, donât bring that my side â her side discussion here,â he said, visibly in pain. âYou are my girlfriend, she is my best friend, I love you both in a totally different way⊠she is like my sister, and you know how important you are for me, how much I love you, so stop talking about me taking sides, because I donât.â
She looked taken aback for a moment, before silently turning around to look at the car window on her side, and he closed his eyes, and pressed the bridge of his nose with his fingertips.
His head was killing him.
âIâm sorryâ she eventually said, and he opened his eyes. âI know you want the best for me. And I do miss everyone, so thank you for trying, I guess I was just⊠jealous.â
âOf what?â he looked at her, surprised.
âOf Luna, of all of you being friendly and happy and me being the stranger⊠the undesirable number one. Of you skating with them and not with me. And I know, I knowâ she stopped him, before he could even open his mouth to say something. âI know you canât leave the Roller because you work there, and because of the band,â she sighed.  âBut I canât help feeling that way. So Iâm sorry for making you pay for something that is all my fault, and for making this night so miserableâ.
He softly smiled, and raised his hand to caress her cheek.
âHey, it hasnât been all miserableâ he said, with a soft voice. âI feel like itâs getting nicer right nowâ he added, and she smiled back.
âIs it?â she asked.
âYeah, it isâ he answered, and came closer to let a soft kiss on her lips, leaving all their discussion behind, making her forget about roller skate competitions, rinks, and jealously problems caused by dumb insecurities.
âI love youâ he said, when they parted away.
âI knowâ she answered, smiling. âAnd I love you too.â
âIâm sorry for snapping at youâ
âDonât be, you were right, Iâd have killed Lunita, and you need her on your team if you want to be close to my teamâs level for the next competition.â She said, and they both laughed. âJust⊠donât tell her I said that.â
âI wonâtâ he promised, and then started the car.
For the rest of the road they were holding hands, when it was possible to do it, and singing cheesy songs from the radio⊠well, he was the one doing it, she just stared at him smiling.
So I like writing Simbar fic more than I thought. I still have a story from the second prompt from yesterday, Iâll post it later this week. I couldnât post it yesterday because I have a lot of homework to do this week. I hope itâs good, enjoy.
Ambar comes in her usual place to just hang out and drink some coffee. When she enters the room, she sees that itâs very crowded. She looks around to see if she can find an empty seat in the sea of people who are busy sipping on their coffee and talking to each other. She finds a seat in the back in a corner, itâs an empty table with two empty chairs. She goes to sit there. She orders her usual Latte Macchiato. She settles down and reads the book that she needs to read for her literature class. Itâs a very intriguing story. She has to read an English book this time, she chose to read Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. She always finds it hard to put it down when she has to go to sleep, so she reads every time sheâs free. She makes herself comfortable and puts her feet up on the chair across from her. She takes a sip from her coffee when she suddenly sees a guy about her age standing in front of her. She looks up at him with an angry look.
âCan I help you?â she asks slightly annoyed.
âIs this seat free?â he asks casually, pointing at the chair in front of her.
âWhere am I supposed to sit then?â He asks. He looks a little disappointed, but Ambar is not sure if she interpreted his face right.
âYou can also stand up, if you want.â She suggests.
âIâd rather sit down.â
He was putting on puppy eyes. She couldnât resist that look, so she put her feet back on the ground and lets him sit down.
âThank you.â He says smiling. âWhat are you reading there?â he points at the book in her hands.
âOliver Twist by Charles Dickens.â She says casually.
âInteresting choice. I love that book, itâs really sad though. But thatâs what makes it beautiful.â
âYou love reading.â She says, she couldnât hide the surprise on her face and in her voice.
âYes, itâs a great way to pass time for me.â He says, she could see he was excited to talk about this in his eyes.
âIâm not a big reader, I only read for school assignments. But this book is way better than I expected.â
âSorry for interrupting your reading, if I had known, I wouldnât have disturbed you.â He is saying this with a lot of sincerity.
âItâs okay, donât worry about that. Youâre a lot nicer than I thought. Iâm happy who found this book as interesting as me. No one else likes it. They think itâs too depressing.â
âThey donât know what real literature is.â
She couldnât help but smile at his comment.
âDo you want to buy me a drink?â She says, trying to flirt.
âSure. What do you like?â He went and called the waiter.
Ok, day2, this is a two parts writing piece, the other one is hidden in another day... so I hope you like it.Â
DAY 2 â âThe team needs you but iâm not sure if I doâ
She never had problems taking her skates off, but she was having them in that exact moment, the eager has taken her body, and her hands were shaking way too much to let her do it properly.  Tamara gave the protagonist part to Luna⊠again! And again she was just another person in the team. She is the queen of the ring, for Godâs sake! Or was, as it was getting really clear that Jam & Rollerâs manager and trainer had got a new favorite in the brunette.
That makes her feel sick, because never in one thousand years she would have thought Lunita would be better than her in the rink, she still thinks thereâs no way she could be better than her, but everybody else is gravitating around her like if she was the sun, instead of the moon.
The stupid skate finally comes out from her foot, and she has to use all her self-control to not to throw it across the room, she is not the kind of girl who does that kind of tantrums, and she is not giving them the pleasure to see her going mad.
Never.
She was taking her backpack off the locker, to get her phone and call her driver, when she felt someone was coming.
âLook Matteo, I donât want to talk about it, Iâm tired ofâŠâ she was saying, but then notices it wasnât her ex-boyfriend the one who followed her to the lockerâs room, and went speechless.
âSorry for not being your boyfriend, butâŠâ
âExâ she corrected him.
âOk⊠Sorry for not being your ex-boyfriend, for some reason the team thought it would be better if I came to talk to youâ he said, looking at her with a soft smile, the one that never completely disappears from his lips, no matter what.
âThen go back and tell the team Iâm outâ she ordered, but he didnât move. âNow!â she insisted, but he stayed in the same place, looking at her with those stupid puppy eyes of him.
She rolled her eyes.
âWhat do you want?â
He didnât hesitated to answer.
âI want you to talk to meâ
âWhat if I donât want to?â
âThen I will make myself comfortable over here until you doâ he answered, and sit in a bench in front of her, crossing his even-more-stupid guitarist arms over his chest.
She swore under her breath.
âYou wonât understandâ she finally said, after a couple of minutes.
âI will try toâ he insisted.
âThere is no way you could understand, ok? Because youâre Lunaâs best friend, you are totally biased. You even dated her!â she fired.
âThanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about itâ he answered. Oh my God, was it sarcasm on Simonâs voice? Ambar was surprised. âBut we are not talking about my relationship with Luna, or my current lack of it, so keep talkingâ.
âI-â she had to clear her throat. âBefore Lunita came here I was the queen of the rink, I was royalty at the Jam & Roller, I had a boyfriend, and everything was perfect. Right, I didnât have my godmotherâs attention, but at least no-one else had it. And then, my godmother does everything for her and her parents to come live with us in Buenos Aires, she even signed her in MY school, and suddenly this girl steals my place in the rink, skates with my boyf- Ex-boyfriend, and gets all the attention. âShe exploded. âAnd Iâm really trying to do my best as I promised, Iâm trying to be a better person to fix all those mistakes I made in the past, but I just feel like it doesnât work for anything, Iâm overshadowed by Lunita every time, and I hate that. If Iâm not the best, then what?â
While she was talking, Simon stood up and started moving closer, and before she could say or do something, he had wrapped his arms around her in an unexpected hug.
Part of her wanted to push him away, who gave him the right to trespass her personal space? To hug her? But she didnât do it, because another part of her, one she had been trying to ignore since her birthday, just wanted to stay like that forever. She doesnât know what happened that day, she asked him to sing because she had promised the Roller Band was going to do it, and he was the only member of said band who was still in the party. He had even taken his guitar! But then, in the middle of the song, he looked directly at her, and she started feeling something she canât explain, something she was feeling right in that moment.
âIâm sorry.â he said on her ear, and she felt her own body shattering.
âFor what?â she didnât know how she got to say that words.
âFor everything you have been through. Iâm sorry if we coming here to Argentina changed your life that much, for the skate competitions you werenât allowed to win, and for not receiving all the attention and love you deserve, because you are an amazing and very talented girl, who deserves to be cared of, and those who donât see that must be blind.â
Her heart started beating so fast, she had to step back and break that hug.
âYou are just saying that so I go back to the rinkâ she accused him, building again the wall he had started to take down while saying those words.
âNo, Iâm saying that because itâs trueâ his face was showing he was hurt.
âYou donât know me to say those things about meâ
âNo, I donât. But I have been looking at you lately, and I have noticed youâre much more than what you let people see. You care about certain people, youâre passionate about things you like, you seek for peopleâs attention because thatâs the only way you know to be loved, andâŠâ
She interrupted him.
âEnough!â she couldnât listen him anymore. âStop saying all this words just to make me go there, stop trying to make me change my mind. I know thatâs the reason why you are here, so stop, you donât have the right to talk as if you knew me, as if you cared about meâ.
âI do care!â he answered. âI admit I came here on the first place to make you go back, the team needs you, but I stopped talking in behalf of the group long ago.â
She didnât say a word.
âBesides, what if I am the one who nee-.â He shook his head, and took a deep breath. âYou know what? Forget it. I will go back there and say you wonât skate on the competition, sorry for bothering you.â He concluded, and stormed out from the lockers room.
She wanted to go after him, ask him what he was going to say, but her pride didnât allow it.
