Dylan: I’m tired of hiding. When I was a kid...My dad barely even had time for me and my brother. My mom raised us practically alone. And then, they got divorced. We were expected to take sides, but back then my father was poisoning my mind with his stupid ambitions...It didn’t end well, as you already know. 

Hailey: I’m...very sorry.

Dylan: You don’t need to be. My point is...I don’t want to be like him. I want give you and this child the happiest life I can. I’m not letting him manipulate me and the people I love anymore. So...What do you say?
