Mr. Darcy's Decision is decent, if you can suspend belief about a few things. The writing is pretty true to Austen, and the plot isn't too hard to believe, though things definitely happen a little too suddenly.

Hi I love this show. Also yes, it’s pretty diverse! Celia is Hispanic even though she’s very white-passing, and there will be two more African American characters later. Also basically no one is straight. It is a surprising novel to have chosen to adapt, but I’m pretty happy with the results
So I’m now 11 episodes in, and loving it. [vague spoilers below for both the webseries (through 11 episodes) and the book]
Poor Fred... though he also made an offhand comment to Max that seemed to be a bit of a microaggression, so... but you know, that is the thing about Fred, he’s not perfect. He’s coming from a place of privilege and totally un-self-aware about it. Nevertheless, he was one of my favorites in the book too, and Rosamund is just horrible, and so annoying, and the sibling relationship is totally believable... but I hate that she sabotaged Fred and made him think the guy he likes doesn’t like him...
Hopefully Dot will realise that her boyfriend is an arrogant asshole who doesn’t respect her mind enough. I hated how he talked over her in the one video where he appeared.
[To be fair, I do remember how all these stories play out in the book, more or less, so I’m curious what will happen in this adaptation and how they will play out to presumably lead to similar outcomes. In the book, rather than dating a grad student a few years older than her, Dot’s counterpart marries a much older man, who eventually dies, so that she can end up later marrying a man who actually loves her.]
