Hair pushed back for convenient-ness lol!

So Siren AU Olivia is different from the usual merfolk in the area, Olivia is a selkie. 

Long ago her ancestors fled the European waters to avoid men who hunted them for their coats. It was during their travels they came to North America and it was there they came upon the merfolk kingdom of King Steven. Steve taking pity on the selkies, allowed them the ability to be halfway between the form of a seal and a human, so that they may be blessed with the merfolk gift of never needing the surface air and would be safer from hunters. Unlike merfolk, who need strong magic to change shape to full humans. Olivia can shed her coat at will and walk among people should she choose. She does not however, as she is terrified of humans and content to spend her days hiding in the murky waters peaceful and calm.

The vision of the one I see,

A million dreams is all its gonna take~

Once upon a time, long ago, there was a little girl.

A - a little girl who was different... Who was different from the other people in her village.

She could see and - and do things that no one could understand! And that made them scared of her!

She turned away from everyone and became sad and lonely, and had no one to turn to!

The more she turned away from people, the more scared they were of her. And they did something terrible! They became so scared that they took her away and they killed her!

And even - and even though she was dead, something in her came back!

And this part of her, wouldn't go away even after three hundred years!

And the longer it stayed, the less there was of the little girl.

This was gonna be something else

-Namely a gaping black hole in her chest.

Buuut I ended up messing around with stars and jazz and putting a way to detailed for my own good flower there instead.

And while this is not the offical plan for the drawing it was fun to do.
