he’s a very caring person and anyone who’s met him will agree

but it’s rare for him to find someone who gives back just as much care

sometimes it almost feels like you two are competing to see who can support the other the most

it’s small but consistent things

kind of like habits

but they’re habits for you instead of for himself

like how he now takes a different street to your house because the little store there has your favorite rare snack

in the mean time he also sends a picture of the dog who lives in the same street

your phone is now full of pictures of a strangers’ dog who you both have called Walter

until one day you get a text

‘The owner called Walter to come inside today, they yelled Pudding instead.’

still Walter to you two though

the way he shows affection in public is the exact same way

small but consistent

little reminders of ‘Hey- I’m here.’ but through touch

tracing figures in the inside of your arm

hand on your thigh whenever you’re sitting next to each other

his hand on the small of your back whenever he walks behind you

even when there’s loads of room behind you

the affection in private is a lot less small

always needs to be touching you in some type of way

his hand in your backpocket

his arm around you shoulders

your legs over his lap

or just holding each other’s pinky

anything

but his favorite is when he lays on his back on the couch with his head on the arm rest

and you lay on your side on his chest with your legs draped over his

perfect for so many things

talking, making out, watching movies, napping

versatile cuddles are the way to go

the rest of the members are going to try and claim you a lot

whenever you’re visiting the dorm they have to tell you everything that happened since the last time they saw you

which includes pictures, snacks and sometimes a runway show if they went shopping

your opinion matters to them just like Hyunsuk’s does

little do they know you and Hyunsuk tend to agree on almost everything

whenever you don’t agree on something he makes that surprised ‘oh’-face

‘Finally- we disagree.’ you’d high five and continue the conversation

fights are also very rare

they only happen when both of you are very stressed and tired

you’re not really mad at each other, you’re just exhausted

it makes small annoyances a lot bigger

but in the end you both realize you meant well

it turns into a learning process where you get even closer

meeting his family was pretty nerve wrecking

but they welcomed you so nicely

his younger brother and sister teased him slightly but all ‘n all it was a very wholesome evening

his mother would interrupt conversations just to ask you another question

she seemed just as nervous as you and wanted to make a good impression

it was clear Hyunsuk cared about you and his family knew

the dates you go on usually start with shopping

picking out outfits that aren’t exactly couple-clothing but still match so nicely

bringing back colors and certain patterns

it would look like you two just walked out of a magazine

but with big happy grins instead of stern model expressions

Hyunsuk loves pimping your clothes

adding little touches to make them suit your style evenmore

it’s his way of leaving a mark and he hopes it makes you think of him when he’s not around

the shoppingdates will slowly turn into just wandering around

finding fun themed cafés 

or pop-up art galleries

he would have so many reasons to take pictures of you

getting the most amazing angles and creative shots

all while hyping you up as his supermodel

he’s always so proud and supportive of you

with you by his side he feels like he can take on the world

but at the same time doesn’t feel the pressure to be perfect

you’re the perfect balance between motivation and reassurance
